Government should show more seriousness about it as well , provide funds for research and communications, even to the grassroot.
We all as Nigerians have roles to play in combating this. May God heal our land, amen.

  25. Sad continent. Nothing worse than lazy hypocrites . Better off in the slave trade, at least we know master would get the slaves some serum so the slaves won't die off on the farm. But hey, ain't we still waiting on master to send us some good old serum to tidy up our mess? Sounds to me like modernized slavery. Stupid set of people, and the ones here too call themselves LIBers, always tagging themselves like dogs, it's a damn shame.

    * Someone sent it to me and she almost felt disrespected at my argument with her abt the source of the info. Later agreed to pass it on; tho I didn't believe it.. Felt there was no harm in trying whatever, so far it's not detrimental to one's health.

  45. I feel your grief miss Juliet, but have you taken your time to think thoroughly before drawing your conclusion. To think that people are joking, I don't agree with you. You see people are scared, and their fears have overwhelmed them. People on receiving those broadcast starts sending to their friends and loved ones, which to me does not sound like joblessness.
Yes people are making a joke out of the whole situation, do u think they are doing it because they wanted to??? Its all out of fear ma. They are trying to put smiles or cajole their minds or providing a escape route for their dare lives.
I have seen people that can't pray, fasting, people that don't believe in any deity, calling unto God. What am I saying??? All these things are born out of fear.
You don't expect me an artist to go to the lab, to get some cure for Ebola, what I can do, is that which I will do.
May God help us all. Lets all put hand on deck to salvage the situation. Lets keep healthy environments and adhere to the do and don'ts. Ebola was once alive in the 70s and back again?? The same way it came, it will go back the same. Those of us that can't enter labs lets pray for the success of those in the lab. Tanx. 1love.

  56. Yes, Ebola is real and its killing fellow Africans but that shouldn't stop us from living our lives. People joke using all sorts; it’s just words spoken to amuse people. Actors, Musicians etc. act and say a lot of uncultured stuffs to make us laugh and this sometimes help people forgot their sorrows.

I don’t think we need sentimental expressions to prove we are holier than thou or don't depict reality. Today in Nigeria, we watch dancers act like imbeciles and we laugh, applaud, give money etc. because it’s funny to us. Now my question, how come we don’t condemn this act knowing that we have people with Down syndrome living around us?

    Please lets be real!

  61. ..Did you know out of ignorance, Joseph brothers sold him to his promised land.. what are mine saying; the Lady who say she jokingly put up the 'Salt and water' stuff actually did a good job, as a medical microbiologist, I can categorically tell you that warm water and salt bath can bring down microbial loads on your skin, thereby rejuvenating your Skin antibody in order to fight against further attack by any antigens, and drinking some of it also can lessen the risk of you contracting this Viral disease called Ebola, if it has mistakenly entered your oesophagus etc. I am not saying it is the 'Cure' No but what I am saying here is that: it reducing your risk of contracting it and also boost your immune system. (NKW) No Knowledge is a Waste, Thank you.
