Following the death of Port Harcourt based doctor, Iyke Enemoah, from Ebola on August
22nd, 70 people in Port Harcourt who had primary and secondary contacts with the doctor and the hospital where he worked have now been put under surveillance
in a bid to stop the spread of the deadly virus in the city.
Dr. Enemoah's wife is the only one who has been quarantined.
Jesus! That number of people is scary and sickening

Why is it that a white man feels he has Ebola, he turns himself in. But a black man will never do the same. Like why? Why sooo selfish? What is wrong with Africans? I don't get it. And that doctor. See where greed gets you. Smh! There's really no difference btw sawyer and that diplomat at this point.

ReplyDeleteDear lib, I am residing in rivers state, port Harcourt precisely. a Neigbour of mine is exhibiting signs of the Ebola virus, I took the right step in calling d emergency number 112 only to get threatened of arrest for complaining then I rushed down to the health centre twice all the doctors were scared of coming to check the patient..please what do I do cos d whole neighborhood is panicking we need a test carried out just to be sure please direct us.
ReplyDeleteCan u send ur email address pls.

ReplyDeleteAbeg o my people in PH, make una be careful and avoid body contacts ooo. Gradual this tin called EBOLA
ReplyDeleteDon dey spread small small ooo.#Napoleon#
The theory is all so confusing to me. The patient (pry contact with Sawyer) is still alive, ofcourse lived way past the incubation period. But the Doc is dead. We need more details Pls. Is the patient still sick?
ReplyDeleteGovernment! government!! government!!! despite all the noise, how did the diplomat get through? what is his nationality? American I guess...
ReplyDeleteFG pls enact a law to punish those whose deliberate greed and action leads to the spread of this disease because they are as wicked as Boko Haram.
ReplyDeleteCan you please disclose the identity of this diplomat and doctor. I believe if all the names of those who have primary and secondary contact with sawyer were publish, people would have noticed and reported this diplomat in Hotel before now. How can we ascertain the number of people who have one way or the other got in contact in the hotel. Pls this issue is very serious.
ReplyDeletePh na no go area for now
ReplyDeleteLol lagos shud ban flights frm ph
ReplyDeleteHonestly,I seriously doubt that the doctor knew he was 'treating' an Ebola patient. He's not hear 2defend himself so let's go easy on him a little for d mean time till we get all details abt his involvement with his diplomat friend.Ebola has no cure for now so what treatment might he have been giving him in a hotel that doesn't even have any dish called Zmapp on their menu
ReplyDeleteEXCUSE ME I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION. YES I AM SHOUTING IT!
ReplyDeleteWHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QUARANTINED AND UNDER SURVEILLANCE?
Itiboribo. Go & buy jamb form
DeleteTo 'quarantine' means to isolate while 'surveillance' means to monitor something or someone.
DeleteThey should be about 200, not 70. Amechi, let's see how smart you are. What about the mortuary attendants where the doctor's corpse was deposited before they decided to check the body in hindsight?
ReplyDeleteUseless and greedy Dr enemoah! He. Didn't go to lag to hel in d isolation center when he knew he had d professional know how to treat Ebola.. But wait o, was his wifey not aware of his stupid and greed all along? Y did she keep quiet knowing she and her kids were @ risk? Too many questions to be asked.. guess like husband like wife..
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of greed can motivate a doctor to take such a callous decision..?we are busy blaming mr sawyer when one of us did the exact same thing. Dr enemoah, tell mr sawyer to rot in hell, when u meet him there of course!!!

ReplyDeleteGo help us n to everyone. Connected to me who my joy is their joy we are covered with d blood of Jesus christ, there shall be no loss will continue to work for us in Jesus name Amen
ReplyDeleteGlaxosmithkline, please, quickly start the human trial of your ebola vaccine.
ReplyDeletePort Harcourt and Warri be like room and parlour, skirt and blouse o. Maybe one nurse go run come Warri come attend wedding or come visit native doctor.
ReplyDeletehmmm ds is serious chemicalx52003@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteand it continues to get worse by the day.......... God pls come to our aid........
ReplyDeleteLinda, i beg u. Use dis media to encourage or even advise radio stAtions, tv stations n health minister to encourage pple dat have ebola symptoms to report themselves so they can be helped. They cannot make it on their own n they r not outcast but they wil die trying to do it on their own. All d adverts i see is just telling us to be on d look out but they nid to talk directly to ebola patients incase there r more hiding
ReplyDeleteIf a man and wIfe who calls themselve can be this inhuman then we r nt safe what manner of wickedness is this may god judge u and all those who secretly brought ebola to ph. Accordinly
ReplyDeleteRecent investigations have shown that the rate of infection for ebola is a doubling of cases every 35 day. If this continues on it's present course we will have 22 million cases in 12 months with 50% dead.
ReplyDeleteThe doctor is very stupid, that serve him good , because of money he put many life in danger.can he deined that he doesn't know that, that man has this disease and he logged him in the hotel for secret treatment, putting his family in danger and entire pple in problem, or have he not been hearing that who ever that have contact with ebola patient should call ebola line.that is good for him let him go and enjoy his money in the grave idiot.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! MY STATE??? GOD MAY YOU PROTECT US IJN
ReplyDelete@Asamkpoto - indeed. We are a wicked generation. Read the lib reader that posted that his neighbor is exhibiting ebola and nobody wants to come and see the neighbor? Instead they are threatening to arrest him for disturbing the peace?
ReplyDeleteAll the bed linen at the hotel, plates, cleaning rages, mops, etc are contaminated. The hotel staff, all the bikes and taxis they entered to and from work. All the people that made contact with the bike and taxi drivers. All the other passengers that boarded right after the ebola infected people. All the people on the flight or means of transportation that idiot took from Lagos to PHC. We are yet to see the end of Ebola. May God rest the souls of those it is about to claim
ReplyDeleteJust praying for God mercy, feel like crying....@hillary
ReplyDeleteFuck bishop dammy the damn bastard talks like an idiot
ReplyDeleteFuck bishop dammy the damn bastard talks like an idiot
ReplyDeleteLet's join our voices together in prayers because we can not do it on our own. The name of d hotel should be made known to the general public if we truly want to stop the spread of ebola.
ReplyDeleteIt is too late to point fingers, what we need now in PH is to create awareness and not to cause mass panic. The government should educate the people on the symptoms to look out for and where to go to if they know or think that they have been exposed to avoid putting others at risk. There are now vaccines that have been proven to combat EVD, which are already been in the Lagos treatment centre, so the earlier you check into one of the treatment centres the better for you. Let's all help to curb the spread of this dreadful disease.
ReplyDeleteWe will overcome EVD, BY concerned resident.

eewo o!!
ReplyDeleteWickedness will make this thing spread more. People won't listen! The government can not do this alone!
ReplyDeleteThe state government lost focus as the second term began, all they cared about was how much money they could loot. the constant bickering in the health sector of rivers state is one of them. Though one shouldn't rejoice in the misfortune of others, i can't help but show how money minded these doctors can be!. They are crying for hazard allowance, when they are the least amongst medical personel except surgeons -which by the way can't operate with their bare hands and so should all medical personel. The Nurse do not shut down the health sector, neither do the medlab scientist or radiographers. these earlier mentioned allied proffessions are exposed the most to varied forms of hazards. i would also not downplay the role of the smallest cleaner, why? because they come in contact too. We all need to work together to make us better!.
