Yeas she does! My prayer is just for her to make heaven ... She sacrificed her life for others to live! RIP ma. 2cor 5:10 BishopDammy# imahiadammy@gmail.com
I agree too. For d nurses & other health workers dat lost their lives to dis evil disease called "Ebola" dey shld be celebrated. But let's not forget dey were all carrying out their duties. But d doctor's persistence not to release Sawyer despite all d pressures dat came from d higher-ups still makes her an exceptional hero. So many wld ve succumbed but she stood her grounds. May God grant dem eternal rest in his bosom. Amen
Not only her but all the medical practitioners(Nurse Justina) that died during the course of carrying out their duty.Every life is precious, and awarding one and leaving the rest is somehow. No disrespect#myopinion
My dear did u read dr ameyo's story @all? Or are u a medicine reject? Can't johesu learn not 2 politicise tinz? Jamb Form is 4 evri1 if u are pained. May their souls RIP.
What she needs more is our prayers for her soul to rest in peace, and maybe support from the government for the people she left behind. Not national honour that has been given to even public treasury looters.
Read your bible well anon9.46, and stop judging pple, you Perfect human. Btw may her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace amen!
Yes ooooooooo! I agree a million percent! Even anything greater than dat shud b bestowed on her cos she did wat our reactive nd stupid government shud have done i.e. Blocking our borders from ppl from d infected areas by stopping dat cursed ugly man called Suya abi na Soya beans out of d hospital! She risked her life without even knowing it! Btw Linda, its CrossRiver nd not AkwaIbom. #SawyerWillNeverRestInPeace
the next thing tonto dikeh will come out and make her own statement. jim iyke, mr ibu etc. when the nurse died nobody talk anything oh. not that am against the woman she was brave but all the medical staff deserve same praise. linda what are your own thought.
I was just about to tell her that, Cross River and Akwa Ibom are two different states. Linda u nid to undergo an inter- State tour so you can know places outside your place of birth. You are too comfortable in Lagos State.
I've mentioned that again and again to guys around me. Plus all staff of First Diagnostic Hospital should be made to keep earning their salaries like before pending the reopening of the facility cos if they hadn't prevented Sawyer from leaving their facility, the story today would have been different.
AKWA IBOM ke? Na Cross River she write ooo. And if the article you posted today had not come up, this Stella would not have posted what she posted today
Yes stella I agree wit u on dis cos d useless min of health, amb of nig 2 liberia kno deres ebola in liberia even comm of health in lagos neglected dere job nd bring dis mis4tune on innocent pipul....stella u r right bt stella abeg liv Doris Simeon husband 4 am now abeg go find ur own husband
i don't understand again oooo, abi Linda you sef follow for people wey tink say Lagos na another country wey no follow for Nigeria. which one be say she is asking for Akwa-ibom govt for an award and then again for Cross rivers govt. pls lets pray for her soul to rest in peace,if given the award will Stella take it to her
All this attention seeking---Dont you know the road to CROSS RIVER STATE GOVERNMENT HOUSE...RIP to the DOCTOR... we all know they will be rewarded but as of national honors that is far fetched
Bonario, does what u said make an iota of sense to you? Why bring her that low by comparing her with public fund looters? I read ur comments but this time maybe u had ur vaseline on ur dick while responding. Biko say sth when u are less horny. Iti mpataka!
This is most unfortunate. One private hospital losing three healthy staff almost at the same time, If Sawyer had not come, they would still be alive and doing their honest jobs. If you ask me, I will rather we continue to pray for the repose of their souls than any posthumous, that's my own opinion sha. May God bless them with heavenly bliss, Amen. Motherhen
She doesn't deserve any special award.... She was only doing her job... They should have quarantined him and taken extra precautions with wearing the kind of protection we see on TV but am sure they were lax.....did she do more than the nurses and other people in the hospital? It is normal medical ethics to quarantine anyone with a highly contagious disease so she has done nothing special... We are so used to mediocrity in this country that we see this as special..... May her soul RIP......
May her soul rest in Peace!! Meanwhile i wonder when all these actresses and celeb will stop all dis cheap publicity - notice cupboard. To me your counsel will be very relevant in terms of recognition to the dead if nothing is done after a long time but somebody died yesterday, many are still under watch, why are U in a hurry to give advise simply to claim it when is done, we are smarter to understand
There are people who specialise in advising how best to honour heroes in the most Relevant and Eternal way, especially national heroes. Mind you, this is not a political recognition. A lot of thought goes into these things and the professionals might yet come up with a much better idea. - AE
I personally agree that this woman deserved to be highly honoured to encourage others to do likewise in future, she is a wonderful woman, her name deserved to be immortalised
Dr Ameyo rest in the bosom of the lord, may God grant your family the forthitude to bear the loss. You are the Nelson Mandela of Nigeria, to me your name is greater than Nelson Mandela because you saved so many lives by not bowing to pressure from Mr Sawyer and the Liberian Ambassador and also coming out to declare that you have an Ebola patient, a million and one people will not want their business or their lives to be associated with Ebola but your actions shows that you are a courageous woman with dignity. Rest in Peace our HERO.
I agree with her! Infact, I have been saying it before I saw this she deserves it and the other nurses too deserve something because they have died for the nation.
Obviously she deserves an award cos she is dead then, we drop it into the casket so she takes it to heaven n places it in her room. "halleluyah". why didnt we spend the award money on buying the ebola drugs from America. cos dey would ve sold it to us if we can give cash dats all dey want afterall. We should ve called out the govt to save her so she can save more lives. And Stella, you should have spent ur money to kip her alife instead of honouring her death which could ve been averted.
