    1. I agree too. For d nurses & other health workers dat lost their lives to dis evil disease called "Ebola" dey shld be celebrated. But let's not forget dey were all carrying out their duties. But d doctor's persistence not to release Sawyer despite all d pressures dat came from d higher-ups still makes her an exceptional hero. So many wld ve succumbed but she stood her grounds. May God grant dem eternal rest in his bosom. Amen

  9. What she needs more is our prayers for her soul to rest in peace, and maybe support from the government for the people she left behind. Not national honour that has been given to even public treasury looters.

  15. I've mentioned that again and again to guys around me. Plus all staff of First Diagnostic Hospital should be made to keep earning their salaries like before pending the reopening of the facility cos if they hadn't prevented Sawyer from leaving their facility, the story today would have been different.

  32. Bonario, does what u said make an iota of sense to you? Why bring her that low by comparing her with public fund looters? I read ur comments but this time maybe u had ur vaseline on ur dick while responding. Biko say sth when u are less horny. Iti mpataka!

  34. This is most unfortunate. One private hospital losing three healthy staff almost at the same time, If Sawyer had not come, they would still be alive and doing their honest jobs. If you ask me, I will rather we continue to pray for the repose of their souls than any posthumous, that's my own opinion sha. May God bless them with heavenly bliss, Amen. Motherhen

  37. She doesn't deserve any special award.... She was only doing her job... They should have quarantined him and taken extra precautions with wearing the kind of protection we see on TV but am sure they were lax.....did she do more than the nurses and other people in the hospital? It is normal medical ethics to quarantine anyone with a highly contagious disease so she has done nothing special... We are so used to mediocrity in this country that we see this as special..... May her soul RIP......

  41. May her soul rest in Peace!! Meanwhile i wonder when all these actresses and celeb will stop all dis cheap publicity - notice cupboard. To me your counsel will be very relevant in terms of recognition to the dead if nothing is done after a long time but somebody died yesterday, many are still under watch, why are U in a hurry to give advise simply to claim it when is done, we are smarter to understand

    ReplyDelete
  42. There are people who specialise in advising how best to honour heroes in the most Relevant and Eternal way, especially national heroes. Mind you, this is not a political recognition. A lot of thought goes into these things and the professionals might yet come up with a much better idea.

  46. Dr Ameyo rest in the bosom of the lord, may God grant your family the forthitude to bear the loss. You are the Nelson Mandela of Nigeria, to me your name is greater than Nelson Mandela because you saved so many lives by not bowing to pressure from Mr Sawyer and the Liberian Ambassador and also coming out to declare that you have an Ebola patient, a million and one people will not want their business or their lives to be associated with Ebola but your actions shows that you are a courageous woman with dignity. Rest in Peace our HERO.

  54. Obviously she deserves an award cos she is dead then, we drop it into the casket so she takes it to heaven n places it in her room. "halleluyah". why didnt we spend the award money on buying the ebola drugs from America. cos dey would ve sold it to us if we can give cash dats all dey want afterall.
We should ve called out the govt to save her so she can save more lives.
And Stella, you should have spent ur money to kip her alife instead of honouring her death which could ve been averted.
