Dr. Akintayo said on the programme that the Liberian has been kept at the IDH in Lagos and could not confirm if the new case had a contact with late Mr Sawyer or not. More on this later...
Patrick Sawyer coming to Nigeria with the deadly virus has caused the death of five people, including Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh, pictured above

ReplyDeleteIt is well
ReplyDeleteMake all this libreian leave us now
ReplyDeleteLinda,I need your help to get in touch with Ministry of Health. There is a candidate drug that has been found effective in treatment of viruses ,including ebola.I am shocked that nobody is looking in that direction when there is scientific evidence of its efficacy. We have to stop this virus.

ReplyDeletewith all out resources and title (giant of africa) we cant even be on top of this like an elephant buh we are experts in begging for the cure and all, dont get me wrong, yeah we should get the cure but since this epidemic started early this year, we (pple in the concerned authoritative positions)have just bn sitting down and relaxing, and being religious about this whole thing, im sure u ve heard pple say 'it is not our portion IJN' or the likes, sure.... but wisdom is profitable to direct!
what differentiates our brains from the brains in the US, is it money we dont ve??? If we have started working on a way foward (ie containment and OR cure)we would ve invested more into this direction, not just when there was an outbreak in our country, now you hear, this one donating X million and that one donating Y million, if this monies were put into proper use, in form of research in top universities, and even top pharmaceutical firms, in short even if we import scientist for this, and we ve spent a year on it, im sure we would not be where we are today,
tomorrow we would hear that a young scientist student in nigeria has come up with a possible cure, without funding from the Govt, just with limited resources, then you would see, the US wld come whisk the chap off #AUTOGREENCARD to continue work in their country, and later some pple would be bad mouthing the chap, as to why he dint stay in this country and work on it.... with out help?!
we need to do more, even cameroun.... lemi say "common" cameroun ve banned flights from 9ja, buh some educated pple are waiting to bath with salt..... lol
lets not have the begging mentality as the only option we fall back to, we are brilliant (na we go school pass), and we have money (well the country has money), if help comes, fine! but while we are waiting for help, lets utilize the best resource God has given us.... out BRAIN!!!

ReplyDeleteLiberians are really out for Nigerians.wetin we do them.
ReplyDeleteFace of lib
Liberians are on a deadly mission to spread this virus in Nigeria. Saying that they have found the 17ppl that escaped quarantine in liberia over the wknd might be all lies! Sm of them must have been sent to Nigeria to infect ppl, who knows. Goodluck, pls wise up and seal our borders with them. The US embassy saying that borders shouldn't be sealed cos of Ebola wants it to spread as well. Small Cameroun have closed theirs, why nt Nigeria? If u don't do anything abt the borders being sealed, the next target might be ur family and not the poor masses Mr President.
ReplyDeletei hope this is untrue otherwise thos Gov should be held responsible for the death of the nigerian victims.
ReplyDeleteMay God punish all these Liberians and also Naija Gov. for refusing to close borders.
ReplyDeleteNawa for this Liberian pple ooo...it better not be true
ReplyDelete@Kelvin I pity Nigeria for having citizen like you, your blind support for this present govt is affecting your brain..The useless govt you re supporting is not protecting its citizen because I don't know why they find it difficult to seal our boarder to Liberia mscheeeeew continue to blame opposition for everything till one of your love one get infected

ReplyDeleteIf terrorist cant defeat the country militarily, biological weapons will be ideal. I said yesterday that those beds stolen from quarantine centres in Liberia are coming to Nigeria. See this one NOW. How can our eyes be wide opened that another Liberian will bring in Ebola virus. Ant of Africa! O ma shee oo. May God save us all.
ReplyDeleteWhat manner of rubbish is this? Why can't these bastards stay in their fucked country and die there? First it was that demon possessed sawyer and now this one? They should just follow Chidi Mokeme's advice and shoot the idiot. He's a medical terrorist! As if they're on a mission to destroy Nigeria. Ahn ahn!

ReplyDeleteyour blog is too important to be putting unverified news especially with the fear people have of Ebola.
Please be responsible and verify all stories relating to this from authorities before you put it up. or at least ask them first.
You sef play your role.
PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE,suspend flights from Liberia&close d borders before it gets out of hands.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they still allowing these liberians into nigeria? Smh
ReplyDeleteThe country, are too stupid for keeping that ebola viltism in the country for no reason
ReplyDeleteSo Jonathan cannot do something as simple as closing d borders after the patrick sawyer incident? it is indeed true that educational qualification is not synonymous with intelligence. common sense is not common afterall.
