Ukrainian Interior Minister said all on board are dead and that the plane was shot down by Russian ground-to-air anti-aircraft missiles at 32,000 feet and at 500mph.
The plane, a Boeing 777, came down near the
city of Donetsk, which is a border between Russia and Ukraine where a Ukrainian transport plane was shot
down at 21,000 feet on Monday July 13th and a military jet shot down last week from the Russian side of the border.

ReplyDeleteUkrainian Gov was probably saying the plane might be shot down due to some of their military jets that was being shot down just of recent by Russia but it doesn't literally indicates the Malay Airline was shot down by them cos the plane was crashed while landing not like it was vanished into the thin air in the sky. A Malaysia Airlines Boeing-777 flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed near the city of Donetsk on Thursday. There were at least 280 passengers, including 23 US citizens, and 15 crew members on board.
Flight controllers reported that the plane disappeared from radar screens while flying at an altitude of about 10,000 meters (some 33,000 feet).
Witnesses told RIA Novosti the debris of the plane covers an area of about one square kilometer, and at least several dozen bodies were found scattered around the crash site.
