Meet the family that missed Flight17 by minutes+chilling audio from rebels after they shot down plane

Barry and Izzy Sim (pictured above) were planning to travel to Kuala Lumpur with their young baby on Flight MH17 but were told by staff at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport that the plane was too full. The family was then given seats on a later KLM flight, just hours before the plane was shot down.

"You get this sick feeling in the pit of your stomach... We started getting butterflies. Your heartbeat starts going.' Barry Sim said of his reaction after he heard the plane he desperately wanted to board was shot down.

His wife said; 'There must have been someone watching over us and saying "you must not get on that flight".' The couple later cancelled their flight with KLM after the women refused to fly.

Meanwhile U.S intelligence has confirmed that the plane was shot down by pro-Russian separatists who mistook the jetliner for a Ukraine military plane. And it is a Russian-made weapon.

Continue to read a transcript of conversations between Russian military intelligence and Ukrainian separatists that were intercepted by Ukraine’s Secret Service moments after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down...

A view of what is believed to be a BUK surface-to-air missile battery being driven along a path on July 17in Torez, Ukraine just two hours before the plane was shot down...

The first exchange is between one Igor Bezler (pictured above), identified as Russian intelligence, and Vasili Geranin, a colonel in the Russian Federation separatist force.

Bezler: We have just shot down a plane. Group Minera. It fell down beyond Yenakievo (Donetsk Oblast).
Vasili Geranin: Pilots. Where are the pilots?

Bezler: Gone to search for and photograph the plane. It’s smoking.
Geranin: How many minutes ago?
Bezler: About 30 minutes ago.

This is followed by a subsequent conversation between two separatist rebels identified by Ukrainian intelligence as “Grek” and “Major”, believed to be after an inspection of the crash site.

Major”: These are Chernukhin folks who shot down the plane. From the Chernukhin check point. Those Cossacks who are based in Chernukhino.

Grek”: Yes, Major.

"Major": The plane fell apart in the air. In the area of Petropavlovskaya mine. The first “200” (code for dead bodies). We have found the first “200”. A Civilian.
G: How are things going there?
M: Well, we are 100% percent sure that it was a civilian plane.
G: Are there a lot of people?
M: Fuck! The debris was falling straight into the yards.
G: What plane is that?
M: I haven’t figured out yet. I haven’t got close to the main wreckage. Now I’m nearby the place where first bodies started falling. Here are remnants of internal brackets, chairs, bodies.
G: Are there any weapons?
M: Nothing at all. Civilian belongings, medical scraps, towels, toilet paper.
G: Are there any documents?
M: Yes. One belonging to a student from Indonesia. From Thompson university.

A third conversation is of an unidentified rebel and Cossack commander Nikolay Kozitsin.

Rebel: Regarding the plane shot down in the area of Snizhne-Torez. It’s a civilian one. Fell down near Grabove. There are lots of corpses of women and children. The Cossacks are out there looking at all this. They say on TV it’s AN-26 transport plane, but they say it’s written Malaysia Airlines on the plane. What was it doing on Ukraine’s territory?

Kozitsin: That means they were carrying spies. They shouldn’t be f*cking flying here. There is a war going on.

God help us!

Major”: In short, it was 100 per cent a passenger (civilian) aircraft.
Greek”: Are many people there?
Major”: Holy sh__t! The debris fell right into the yards (of homes).
Greek”: What kind of aircraft?
Major”: I haven’t ascertained this. I haven’t been to the main sight. I am only surveying the scene where the first bodies fell. There are the remains of internal brackets, seats and bodies.
Greek”: Is there anything left of the weapon?
Major”: Absolutely nothing. Civilian items, medical items, towels, toilet paper.
Greek”: Are there documents?
Major”: Yes, of one Indonesian student. From a university in Thompson.

MH17 was believed to have been shot down over eastern Ukraine by pro-Russian militants yesterday, killing all 298 people aboard, a Ukrainian interior ministry official said.
MAS said air traffic controllers lost contact with MH17 as it flew over eastern Ukraine towards the Russian border, bound for Asia with 283 passengers and 15 crew aboard.
MAS earlier maintained that the plane’s flight path over the restive area had been green-lighted by International Civil Aviation Organisation and International Air Transportation Association.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak earlier called the incident as a “tragic day in a tragic year for Malaysians”, in reference to the loss of another MAS plane, the still-missing MH370, that disappeared on March 8 with 239 on board.

  30. They've have used the lives of people to play politics. Someone directed that plane off its course to implicate Russia knowing fully well that the Malaysian Airline has the same colour as the Ukrainian national flag and it was mistakenly shot down. This is a plot to get international support against Russia. This are just my thoughts.

Rest in peace to all those who lost their lives and may God console their loved ones deeply.

Where is the love in the world?? Sad that plane was shut down without them thoroughly verifying it was a civillian plane. Children, women, men, old, youth, all wasted over a stupid war. God's grace will abound for us always.

  41. Propaganda Linda, I saw the video myself.. It was make up. Pre-planned for previous fighter jet that was short down.. 2 on the 16 of july...

The Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 carrying almost 300 people on board crashed on Thursday as it was flying over Ukraine’s Donetsk Region. The plane was apparently shot down by a surface-to-air missile, although both Kiev and the local militias fighting against it deny responsibility.

Earlier Kiev said it could not have fired a missile at the passing civilian plane because it had no Buk missile launchers deployed in the region.

However, Russian equipment detected throughout July 17 the activity of a Kupol radar, deployed as part of a Buk-M1 battery near Styla [a village some 30km south of Donetsk], by Kiev.

After the Russian ministry came out with the statement, Bogdan Senyk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reiterated Kiev’s position, saying that "anti-aircraft missiles have not been deployed during the anti-terrorist operation ... they are all in place."

It is now increasingly clear that Ukraine carried out the attack on the Malaysian Plane.

  44. wtf is wrong with this blog. us intel only confirmed using heat signatures and projectile tracking to deduce that it was a surface to air missile A11 that brought down that plane. and that is was fired from the pro russian side of the border, they never came out to say it was the militants. althoguh i believe they did it, but you are a tabloid, and shouldnt report what you havent conirmed. pls be professional
