Asari Dokubo's take on yesterday's attack on General Buhari

Ex-Niger-Delta militant Asari Dokubo has shared his opinion on yesterday's attack on Gen. Buhari. He believes the former Head of State was attacked to cause calamity in Nigeria to push the military to take over from President Jonathan. See more tweets after the cut...

  5. What happened yesterday is bigger than anybody's political ambition.
At a time like this,I am more convinced that God's hand is on Nigeria.
What would have happened yesterday had boko haram succeeded is better imagined.
This is the more reason why our govt should shun any form of sentiment and involve everyone in this fight against boko haram. Coz Nigeria is bigger than anybody's political interest.

  21. THE CONVERSATION BETWEEN NIGERIA AND BOKO HARAM:

BUHARI: The lion I trained has overgrown my cage and is now attacking me, pls help.

NIGERIA: Why are you panicked? Don't you like semtex? Your hands are not clean, old fool. What goes around, comes around. Pickin wey say him mama no go sleep, him too no go sleep. He who kills by the sword shall surely die by the sword. The birds have come home to roost. Take your medicine like a man. Stop crying like a b!tch. Stop lying. You were not in that vehicle. Its a shame you are still out there and at liberty to inflict more cruelty, pain, trauma and suffering on your fellow human beings. War monger and mosquito, there are seven virgins waiting for you in hell. You should have joined them. The badly scripted and badly choreographed publicity stunt that was camouflaged as "assassination attempt," was staged by you, Buhari, and your not very good hired stunt men to help boost your not very good political career's image. Your "FALSE FLAG" won't work. Grow up. You are insane. Try another stunt or transfigure yourself into "minced meat," then maybe we might believe that someone is out to get you. The so called "attack" did not knock your brain off. Its FALSE FLAG. GOOGLE: FALSE FLAG BOKO HARAM. If the attacks were genuine, then its probably by your team members like Atiku, Shettima, Kwankwanso, Tinubu, Alhaji Rochas, Nyako, El-Rufai or Amechi or it was by debt collectors sent by your fellow Hausa / Fulani people who need to collect on whatever you owe them. Rumour has it that your Boko Haram terrorists are owed three months wages. Thats not nice. Pay them their salary. They work for your company, MURDER, GENOCIDE & MAYHEM LIMITED. You should know to handle your affairs, pay your workers on time and pay your debt to society and not drag Nigeria into your dirty business. Buhari, your name rhymes with Boko Haram. You are not a man of integrity. You and your APC idiots, fools and murderers MUST stop tearing Nigeria apart with your moronic, brainwashed, demented and evil Boko Haram terrorists. Repent and confess your sins. Give up violence and stop staging attack on yourself or against anyone or against the Federal Government. "Buhari leave politics alone, go and rest joor. For over 40yrs u've been in d corridor of power haba! Na only waka come naija. Abeg allow the young ones to build back the nation way una don scatter so. Naija youth say no to dis old cargo politicians, they got nothing to offer. If nor be corruption can somebody like Buhari get to the rank of a general in the army. Rubbish."

  42. Asari Dokubo, ex-Niger-Delta ACTIVIST (not "militant" .... A freedom fighter is not a militant) shared his opinion about the recent attack on Gen. Buhari. What he said ("By 2016 oil block licences will expire") is very insightful and makes a lot of sense and explains the increased insurgency, attacks, killings and desperate attempts by northern leaders to bully and blackmail Goodluck Jonathan out of power. There is so much at stake. Northern leaders will do anything to prevent GEJ from winning the 2015 election. 2015 Nigerian election may be the hottest and bloodiest election, ever.

  49. If truly the plan was to assassinate Buhari then i can ASSURE you that it is coming from within the APC. The likes of Atiku need to get Buhari out of the way to stand a clear chance of getting the nomination for the APC. This is another angle it should be looked from. After all Tinubu had to kill Funsho Williams to get a clear Chance and it worked out for him. So Buhari i am afraid your house is not in order. Yoruba says Kokoro to je efo nu nu efo lo wa.

  72. CONCERNED NIGERIAN24 July 2014 at 13:51

AS FAR AS AM CONCERNED ASARI IS BEHIND BOKO HARAM

    ReplyDelete
  73. According to Asari Dokubo, ex-Niger-Delta activist, the recent attack on Gen. Buhari was because "By 2016 oil block licences will expire..." ... It is a very insightful observation and makes a lot of sense and explains the increased insurgency, attacks, killings and desperate attempts by northern leaders to bully and blackmail Goodluck Jonathan out of power.

Northerners (former presidents, ex ministers, top military officers, politicians and businessmen of northern origin) hold 83% of Nigeria’s oil blocks. Its very unfair on the rest of the country.

OIL BLOCKS SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS. IT SHOULD BE FAIRLY DISTRIBUTED ONLY TO STATE GOVERNMENTS, AND WHATEVER IS LEFT SHOULD BE MANAGED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. THE CORRUPT SYSTEM OF AWARDING OIL BLOCKS TO INDIVIDUALS AND COMPANIES MUST BE ABOLISHED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. THE SENATE SHOULD REVOKE ALL OIL BLOCKS LICENCES AND REDISTRIBUTE THEM TO EACH STATE GOVERNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FEDERAL CHARACTER PRINCIPLE.

Desperate northern leaders wants to eliminate ex army, Buhari and blame it on this current government so as to enrage and encourage a military coup so that Hausa / Fulani leaders can keep enjoying billions of dollars of OIL MONEY.

Boko Haram's so called JIHAD is all about OIL BLOCKS LICENSES to expire 2015 and renewed in 11/02/2018. and they want a northern in power in 2015 so that they can maintain their dominance, keep scrounging and sucking Nigeria dry. Boko Haram are paid assassins of NORTHERN LEADERS that are within APC and PDP.

Goodluck Jonathan must revoke all oil block licence because they were all corruptly obtained. Goodluck Jonathan and the Senate must list the names of crude oil blocks licence holders and beneficiaries in Nigeria. It must at all times be publicly available. That is transparency. Corrupt practices in politics must be brought to IMMEDIATE and permanent end. Born to rule mentality is motivated by corruption and OIL MONEY and must be brought to IMMEDIATE and permanent end. OIL BLOCKS AND OIL MONEY IN PRIVATE HANDS IS WHAT IS FUELLING NORTH VS SOUTH DISCORD, SELF-INTEREST POLITICS, DO OR DIE POLITICS, INSURGENCY, MURDER, GENOCIDE AND POGROM IN NIGERIA. IT MUST BE BROUGHT TO IMMEDIATE AND PERMANENT END. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

  74. How come this "shuddabeeninjail" seem to have an opinion about everything but refuses to have an opinion about his obesity. Thats just what im saying! That said, I think the northerners are the ones behind this explosion here and there to rubbish Jonathans administration, not to say Jonathan isn't doing a fine job in that department all by himself, but, this nonsense definitely gets the world looking in on Nigeria. Jonathan is a president that has no military background. If I were him, id cut the north to themselves (not split nigeria ) and let them wipe out themselves maybe they'll grow some sense. Arm the soldiers and tasks force to protect the borders coming in to the south (ibo n yoruba side). Create a territory for refugees running away from those areas, because you can't trust them now. Then get the media to only come watch where the Nigerian military are in action killing all the boko haram sects. Yes sects, anyone will be foolish to think this thing isnt going in the direction of sects. They r one group now, with enough popularity and funding, they become a sect. One sect does not need everyone to be around to carry out a terrorist act. They will eventually infiltrate the whole Nigeria as a small sect and bombings carried out at every location with mass crowd gathered. Then Nigeria will be uninhabitable bc there will be no where to hide and no one to trust. Thats what I will do. Arm the borders to the south and get the media to see what I want them to see.

  75. We all know this man to be very controversial in nature, and for him to acceot that the attack was truly an assassination attempt, we all need to wake up in Nigeria. I pray another civil war does not start in this country. If truly he was targeted for assassination then who will profit from his death. I am not accusing anyone but we all need to wake up.

  100. DEAR GOODLUCK JONATHAN,

    ••• NIGERIAN OLIGARCHS: PRIVILEGED
    ••• NIGERIAN MASSES: VICTIMS

PLEASE, HELP THE NIGERIAN MASES. CHANGE NIGERIA FOR GOOD. NOW IS THE CHANCE AND THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO REDRESS THE IMBALANCE BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH.

THE SOUTH IS DISADVANTAGE AND STILL BEING ROBBED BECAUSE OF THE OVER 35 YEARS OF NORTHERN DOMINATION. IT WAS UNJUST AND MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE.

SOUTHERN NIGERIA SHOULD NO LONGER BE SUBJUGATED BY NORTHERN NIGERIAN. THE MANY YEARS OF UNFAIRNESS MUST BE REDRESSED AND BROUGHT TO AN END, PLEASE.

NIGERIA'S ECONOMIC WEALTH IS UNJUSTLY IN THE HANDS OF A TINY FEW THAT ARE NOW DESTABILISING THE COUNTRY.

NIGERIA'S WEALTH MUST BE REDISTRIBUTED TO THE MASSES VIA THE STATE GOVERNMENTS AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL NIGERIANS AND NOT JUST FOR A PRIVILEGED FEW.

IT IS VERY UNFAIR THAT INDIVIDUALS OF NORTHERN ORIGIN HOLD 83% OF CRUDE OIL BLOCKS IN NIGERIA.

OIL BLOCKS SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS. IT SHOULD BE FAIRLY DISTRIBUTED BETWEEN ALL THE STATE GOVERNMENTS, AND WHATEVER IS LEFT SHOULD BE MANAGED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. THE CORRUPT SYSTEM OF AWARDING OIL BLOCKS TO INDIVIDUALS AND COMPANIES MUST BE ABOLISHED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

  113. TWELVE THIRSTY MEN WITH EYE ON TWO HUGE THINGS: UNLIMITED MONEY AND UNLIMITED POWER

The 12 plutocrats and oligarchs ("Governors") below, who are on the PDP platform, have one ambition right now. Their ambition is to vacate Government House as State Governors and become SENATORS and continue on the gravy train:

    Godswill Akpabio
    Akwa Ibom.

    Emmanuel Uduaghan
    Delta State.

    Theodore Orji
    Abia State.

    Gabriel Suswam
    Benue State.

    Mua’zu Babangida Aliyu
    Niger State.

    Mallam Isa Yuguda
    Bauchi State.

    Liyel Imoke
    Cross Rivers State.

    Sullivan Chime
    Enugu State.

    Martin Elechi
    Ebonyi State.

    Jonah Jang
    Plateau State.

    Ibrahim Shema
    Katsina State.

    Saidu Dakingari
    Kebbi State.

The current Senate has 10 former Governors in its fold, including:

    Senator Bukola Saraki
    Kwara State.

    George Akume
    Benue State.

    Kabiru Gaya
    Kano State.

    Shaba Lafiagi
    Kwara State.

    Abdullahi Adamu
    Nasarawa State.

    Joshua Dariye
    Plateau State.

    Chris Ngige
    Anambra State.

    Bukar Abba Ibrahim
    Yobe State.

    Ahmad Rufai Sani Yerima
    Zamfara State.

WHY are they all scrambling to the Senate? WHY are they all hugging and monopolising power? WHY do they all want to be Senators? WHY??? If some of them were inept and incompetent as State Governors, why the heck should they be allowed to go to Senate and be part of the process to a better Nigeria when they could not be part of the process to better the lives of everyday people in their own States??? It is very wrong that they are allowed to dominate politics and maintain the status quo. Nigerians are fed up of the status quo. The status quo is corrupt and must be replaced. We want real change!!!

  121. This was a staged attack. Plot was for them to attack him so that it will look like the president is behind it or that he's not in cahoots with boko haram.

Every idiot in this country knows that people like Buhari go about well guarded with escort at the front and back, so wait o, according to him, the car had tried several times to overtake them, and his escorts did not stop that car or shoot at it? They waited for the people to overtake them when they slowed down? I've not heard such an idiotic bull in my life.

We all know a normal escort would have shot at that car once they noticed it was targeting them, I have seen escort security in action,so don't come and tell me nonsense, but hey, it was a plot, they couldn't have shot at the terrorists car.

    Idiots

  127. Its disheartening how gullible and forgetful Nigerians can be. In over 170 comments no one has remembered to mention Obasanjo's leaked open letter to PEJ. Where he particularly accused PEJ of making a "hit list" to assassinate prominent Nigerians. Could this accusation be coming true? Let us wake up from this pathetic slumber of religious, ethnic and tribal sentiments that has clouded our senses of reason please!!!
