Delta Airlines apologizes for tweet depicting Ghana with a Giraffe

After the Ghana vs US match last night, Delta Airlines tweeted a pic of a giraffe depicting Ghana while they used a pic of the Statue of Liberty to depict the US. Well, many Ghanaian didn't appreciate that and came for Delta Airlines on twitter.

The airline company had no choice but to apologize. See some of the tweets after the cut...

  5. Don't know what they take Africa and Africans for.
Just like MAMA awards 2014 host Marlon Wayans there perception of Africa seems that of people still with little or no form of civilization. Its quite a pity.
