During her tenure as the D-G of NAFDAC, her pursuit and success in ensuring a drastic reduction of fake drugs and substandard goods brought into the country by some wicked people who cared not about humanity but only money and resorted to bringing in such to kill people will never be forgotten. DORA AKUNYILI, MAY YOUR SOUL AND SOULS OF ALL THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED REST IN PEACE IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. AMEN!

Dora you were a pride to womanhood. A daring one which even the men were afraid of when it comes to the saying the truth or doing what's right. You were never terrified by all the opposition from when you were DG of NAFDAC to when u served in d Yar'Adua/Jonathan administration. You were a threat to every evil minded drug merchant and hater of truth. They couldn't make you compromise your golden standards either by threats or bribes. U stood perpetually for that which was good for the health of the common Nigerian who had no means of flying abroad for medical attention. Nigeria became a better and healthier place. RIP for only God knows what changed you from what you were As In Pix-mix Old And New. Your spirit still lives with us.
