...This also didn't happen in Nigeria. + Are foreign troops in Nigeria?

Some of you may have seen this photo and similar ones on several online platforms, claiming its US troops capturing a Boko Haram member....erm, it's false. U.S Pentagon has stated there will be no American troops in Nigeria...at least for now. The team sent are experts to help with communications, logistics, and intelligence. The pic above going viral is French troops in Central African Republic in 2013. (See here).

Also, you can see in all the pics floating online, from the uniforms, the African soldiers taking notes from American forces are from Uganda and Somalia. Military aid has been in Africa for sometime under AFRICOM to help train our military.

Now to the second issue; are there foreign troops in Nigeria? There are reports this morning that the Special Forces of the US Marines have sited the abducted Chibok Girls in Sambisa Forest...this report is hard to believe because the Pentagon, the UK and France made it clear that they are only providing intelligence service (intel & surveillance technology) to work with the Nigerian military..for now!

Also yesterday CNN said US intelligence made claims that the girls are not in a single location, so how come they've now been sited at Sambisa Forest? Even if US intelligence analysts were able to find the location, will they share the info with the media before the girls are rescued? So officially there are no foreign troops in Nigeria for now, except the foreign government is lying to the media about the kind of help they are providing and really sending troops.

  25. 234 girls are missing and 234 is Nigeria’s country code…is there sum coincidence???
I have been pondering over this kidnap situation and something dont add up hence these questions.
The students are said to be SSS3 student writing physics examination.
QUESTIONS: 1. Why are their names not yet published by the school, state government and WAEC?
2.Why are their pictures not over the news media?
    3. How come all 234 students are in SSS3 and all came to write physics examination when the total number of students in the whole school are
    around 1200?
    4. It was announced that the Borno states govt gave N1m each
to parents of the missing girls. If that’s true.
    QUESTIONS: 1.Why was this
money given to these parents, was it as
compensation for the kidnaps or compensation for their deaths?
    2. On Tuesday 29th April 2014, the
senator from Borno said in the senate that the girls had been taken out of the country to Chad, Niger and Cameroon and married off to their adoptors.
QUESTIONS: How come these senators know so much, who are their informants? Why is the wife of the state governor organising women to pressure FG in Abuja after the National Security Council has ordered the armed forces to use all state resources to secure
the release of the adopted Girls.
I just wonder how 200 girls can
be kidnapped at once. How come we havent seen those girls who they said have escaped on tv? If the Ss3 student aren’t up to 120 in a school of 1200, how is it possible 234 girls are missing?
Where are the school authorities? We haven’t seen any of them on tv.
    WHO IS FOOLING WHO?
I need objective answers pls, its time all Nigerians start asking questions than drawing to conclusions

  30. Hmmm * deepbreath* the pic come dey fly like say na BH member be that...anyways Linda i think we have to believe wht the US Pentagon has said cuz our media houses have learnt how to fabricate stories. If they say there are no troops but experts, then that's wht it is....
Watched CNN last nyt where the father of one of the abducted gals was speaking about on how six of his family members, including sisters, nieces and children are amongst the "girls". He said they wrote to the govt who refused to help them until now that the pressure is on... The man also revealed that while they were on the rescue journey themselves, they witnessed an helicopter dropping stuffs in the BH camp...and when they asked, the villagers arnd revealed that such hapns thrice a week. Of course they had to turn back on their 'self futile mission'. Whts rele the faith this country???? *pensive*

Did America announce to their citizens that they were going to capture Osama? Nope, it was announced after he was killed. Pls ooo, naija media, let's not give boko haram information that is useful to them or that can help them escape. Let's continue praying and just watch whoever/whatever units the US/UK sent take BH down. God help and bless Nigeria.

  64. Naija, here we see the power of information to deliberately or not guide our thoughts and actions per time, our very consciousness is based on what we are fed constantly with and it could of course be cosistent with or dangerously contradict our present realities, much as we run with the available info due to our non apetite for intuitive and quality learning our journalists are then saddled with providing investigative journalism and making sure the populace trend with burning issues at hand, a good example would be Linda's efforts on the Aluu 4 issue, and recently the bring back our girlss issue, also a good example for the former would be displaying celebrity watches and clothes/cars when 200 or more girls were kidnapped the previous day and the populace are able to trend easily and convincingly with it, much as financial motivation cannot be ruled out of life actions, there is a clarion call to a few that would provide solutions to our national problems in times like these.

This may be the reaspn why it Nigeroa is stated too.
These men belongs to the french army which located there since boko is lidnapping europeen people and bringing them too Naija.
