    1. Some Nigerians are just retarded, why compare Obama's visit ti Iraq and the world trade center to GEJ visiting Chibok? If you all do not know what emergency is, Chibok is on 95% potential attack. The so called Shekau has threatened to kill your president and you want him to play into their hands? A rep can be sent, the Gov of Borno can rep him...you just don't wanna lose your No 1 citizen, that would be the biggest tragedy. Besides, in govt. If your security chiefs tell the President do not go here, he cannot object, so if he was adviced there was nothing else he could have done...smh!..EXCLUSIVE: Its Over! The fact remains that Atiku and Buhari you mentioned in your reply above did not take the oath of office with GEJ so you can not expect them to his duty for him no matter how close they are to the scene.

Beside, borno have a governor, deputy governor and military officials who will always report to him when things gets out of hand.... So i say he should never visit borno at this tym....

  12. I totally support his opinion. The boko haram Shekau guy clearly stated GEJ is a target, why throw the nation into further confusion by risking the life of the president in the name of showing sensitivity? smdh for Nigerians.

  14. Bushes vist to the soldiers in Afganistan was a covert operation, no one knew he was there until he left. The President's spokesperson did not officialy release a statement he was going to Chibok, it was leaked and i guess the risk was higher and they decided to cancel. Perfect strategy by his security aides. No sentiments there.

    1. But you also need to know that the information leaked to the media through one or more his aides, which will never happen in the US, so he needs to investigate and send whoever did that parking and reschedule another unannounced visit instead of trying to make us understand why he must not go there.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I dey vex this Saturday afternoon.
This whole western backed propaganda against GEJ has taken a whole new dimension. Na so so bashing from every corner latest coming from the Pentagon and US Senate.
Fact remains that the said visit was over publicized making it unsafe for the president. When Bush visited Iraq, it was an unannounced visit. Same as when Obama visited Afghanistan. Infact Ahmed Karzai, Afghan President didn't know about the visit until Obama was already airborne. It is wrong to have announced such visit in the presence of serious security situation we are faced with. Chibok is quite far from Maiduguri which means that the president will use helicopter to get there. That's a crazy risk if you ask me. The postponement of the visit is quite in order.
The President no matter how much they cry will not go to Chibok. After his election the north promised to make that part of the country ungovernable and they have fulfilled that promise with through Boko Haram. The president should focus on the part of the country that accepts his leadership and forget those who will stop at nothing to see him dead. The Americans can protect their president where ever he wants to go but they will not send a black president to a KKK convention just so they can display their ability to protect him. CNN et al, our president is not going to Chibok for anything. The north has had a lot of lunnies run this country and the south for the sake of the country tolerated unparalleled incompetence and ruthlessness from the likes of Sani Abacha, IBB. Buhari etc, But as soon as the only minority crashed the party they are calling for his head. If Chibok is in Nigeria they should demonstrate that to me and the rest of the South-East and South-South before the president makes the visit.
The president will not make visits to foreign enclaves that are hostile to the FGN. As far as I’m concerned the northeast has nothing to indicate they are part of the country called Nigeria. When leaders from the northern part of Nigeria made inciting and acrimonious statements after the election of the president I realized that the north has seceded from Nigeria. I am not sure this structure called Nigeria will work again because the South-East and the South-South may not accept a northern president any more than the north accepted Goodluck Jonathan and that is the bottom line.
    NONSENSE!!#bebo#

    3. Read through your post again. Why do we claim to know so much and sound this shallow. Is BH attack specifically against GEJ? It started way before GEJ became president. Was the Niger Delta agitation/Militancy against a Yoruba or northen president then? Anonymous, until we begin to come to the realisation that interests both internally and externally want to see the biggest nation in Africa crumble, hence bringing Africa to its knees we can never solve this problem. Some questions for you. .. Why is Abdullmutalab. .. a British born Nigerian or Ogwuche a British born Nigerian become master minds of attacks. Are the northerners now British based? Pls be objective. See beyond what you percieve. I know Nigeria will come out stronger. If not for ourselves, then for Africa sake. Thanks. Ps. No insults intended.

Next thing will be Vanguard posting picture of Central African Republic man as Boko Haram leader captured by American forces. Nigerian journalists should be swarming the village of Chibok getting all the needed information. Wasn't the coward sitting down and sharing beer-parlour tales without any proof how no girls were kidnapped?
A lot of Nigerians had faith is this coward when he became president, but this man has destroyed our nation and everything it ever stood for. 2015 is coming and if this man shamelessly campaigns for re-election, let God punish him.

  73. Very sexy and touchy feely for the president to arrive and walk around. It does not solve the problem. More importantly, it is clear he does not have enough allies in the military. Who will offer him protection from Boko Haram if he visits this place? Its not like we have reliable intel or well trained military officers. In fact some of the officers are Boko Haram members. So make una go rest all you touchy feely bastardos.
