6:38,it is cheaper doesn't mean its cheap. By their status,if they had chosen to do it in Nigeria,it would have been more expensive.trust me I know what I'm saying.the florists will first tell you they had to bring in the flowers in an air conditioned trailer.next,the lights and accessories people will tell you chandeliers are xyz dollarsX exchange rate. The caterer will say strawberries cost an arm and another.the touche halls in Lagos aren't less than 2 million naira.we haven't talked about seats. All the milestone age parties my husband and I have done has been done abroad.it is cheaper than if we did them here.
So 6:38,before you speak,ask people who have thrown destination parties why they did. The parents and all their friends alone would cost more in entertaining them by the time teebilz ijebu connection land.which obviously boils down to more funds for catering for them. Alcohol gulps a huge amount in parties in Nigeria.i don't know the rules governing alcohol consumption in parties in Dubai,but it won't be the type that Nigerians indulge in when home with everyone wanting a bottle of crystal.
