Gunmen attack secondary school staff quarters today, kill 5-year-old

Boko Haram men in the early hours of today April 20th attacked the Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS), Yana, killing a 5year old girl and setting some buildings in the staff quaters ablaze.

The Bauchi State Police spokesperson, DSP Haruna Mohammed while confirming the incident said the gunmen stole a private vehicle belonging to the Principal of the School and also destroyed a bank vault

“Unknown gunmen attacked the staff quarters of GGSS Yana, Shira Local Government Area of Bauchi State, around 2.30am on Sunday. They set the school bus ablaze; and in the process, a five-year-old girl was killed in the fire while they destroyed the vault of a bank,’’ he said

He said a combined team of security forces are on the trail of the attackers.

Leaders who have been silent for a long time/since these attacks and killings started? Leaders who onky recently started blaming GEJ for their problems? Who continues to wait for outsiders to solve the problems in his house??????

  55. Bokoharam are cowards who attack innocent and little children at odd hours. That is the height of cowardness. And for those asking GEJ to step down are not patriotic Nigerian, other political party should join the race to fight terrorism than sit behind and accuse the present ruling class for there incompetence. We are all held in this nifty grit menace.its a battle of all, terrorism has never held a state, or country in ransom and we can not accommodate this development.
