Video: Eight pregnant teenage girls rescued from Ogun baby factory

Eight pregnant young girls were rescued yesterday by the Ogun State police command from a baby factory located at 9 Sebanjo Crescent, off Fabolude Busstop, Akute area of Ifo LGA of Ogun State.

Speaking on the incident, the State Police Commissioner, Ikemifuna Okoye, said police intervention was made possible by a tip off. The operator of the baby factory is 26 year old Angela Chigoeze who says she operates a herbal clinic...and sells the babies for N300,000

The police say investigation is still ongoing as there are other accomplices in the business. Continue to watch the video...

  9. I am trying to understand why this is against the law? What is the process of giving up babies for adoption? In most countries there are agencies who help broker the adoption deal and they receive compensation after all, it costs money to house, feed, and take care of the medical needs of the pregnant women.

    1. Shut up. You sound very ignorant. These are teenage girls who get raped by men to get them pregnant and after the baby is born the vicious circle continues. Not just that, they are there against their will. This is just so sad.

    2. What u don't get is dat most of these girls just preggy cos of d money they will get paid at d end.there is always a man dat comes and gets them pregnant.so its not a case of girls dat got pregnant out of wedlock and want to give them up.

Where is the dignity and pride that is being reserved for ladies?? I just don't know who to blame,if its the girls who couldn't abstain from sex or the owner of the baby factory who kept them in a pitiful condition..life is still a mystery!

  43. They should put the useless woman in jail for life. These babies you see them birthing in these so called baby factories, most are being sold to ritualists, and this group consist of contractors, busninessmen/women and mostly politicians.

  44. I dont understand Nigerians !!! (some ) WICKEDNESS!!!

  45. This is really sad! This will make men esp married men to want a DNA for all their children!! This lady should be sent to jail, selling babies like she selling shoe and bag!! And by the way if any of those girls die in that house she will just throw their bodies on the street !! She is very wicked.

  46. A nation of hypocrites and fools!!!
Must you get pregnant or get a girl pregnant with every sexual encounter?
    A nation of hypocrites!!!
We would continue to have sordid incidences like this, were young ladies end up with unwanted pregnancies just because they were human enough to have sex, but foolish enough not to know what to do to keep unwanted pregnancies away......
Squeamish Fools that call themselves parents and pastors would draw out whips or mount pulpits warning young people to steer clear of sex, because premarital sex is sinful; and the platform for purified sex being only the marital bed....
But they fail to tell them that their bodies may hardly wait for marriage before it begins to cry out helplessly for sexual intimacy...
The misguided fools tell young people that it is the devil's voice urging sex....
The idiots would never speak on the side of truth that human sexuality is governed by our gonadal or hormonal system, having nothing to do with Satan....
And that when the sexual urge comes beckoning either they exercised great discipline and repress the urge or simply employ contraceptive devices if they must have sex....
Not empty-brained religiosity, but the truth alone would set us free!!!!

  51. Yes, I support this 100%, as long as they sell those babies to couples who were unable to get pregnant. You need to see pressure from those wicked African mother in law. Buy a baby for N300,000.(to keep your enemies quiet for now),then you take your time to get ivf or whetever to get your own biological child. NIGERIA SUCKS .
