  46. i read some comments on here and i just want to flip. especially because i was at the premiere.

these set of actors and producer are clearly talented otherwise they wouldn't have pulled such crowd out of their houses.

i never get to attend these things but i had to after i watched the online version.

the comment about them trying to become stars at all cost is just plain stupid and i feel sorry for the individual who thinks that. they are already stars in their own right and deservedly so.

a hall housing about 3000 people was almost packed full to my surprise and there wasnt a genevieve or omotola there. what does that say to you. pure talent will finds its way

we as africans were all very eager to identify with and celebrate lupita even though any of these girls could have given her a run for her money, but see how we bring down our own.

some one stupidly says, why premiere in london. well, i can tell you that, we do appreciate them and so they brought it over to us.

as big as this show is, i dont see no one celebrating them but magazine covers and talk show hosts will rather celebrate mediocrity or just continue to recycle old name.

    i feel sorry

lekki wives cast and crew, please dont be phased by angry and bitter people who write negative comments. you lot are talented and those who tell themselves the truth know.

    1. May God bless you oh! For this post you've put up! I choose to remain anonymous because if the lekki wives should get the chance to read this, one of them will know who I am because I ran into her in the mall, and she was soooo nice and friendly, even took pictures with me and everything. I had just seen the movie she did with OC and Stella and I was so impressed! Lekki wives is the best tv series in Africa (who wan vex die make e die! Bad Belle too much for this their acting industry!) thank God I didn't pursue it and I'm in my small field where I am! Cos I can't understand why there should be such blatant jealousy! Haba!!! AMVCA I'm very disappointed in you people, I was watching the show from home and saw all the rubbish series they were nominating! My dad was saying, 'are they not going to call the name of that our series?' we wait we no hear anything! Shame on you AMVCA! That's just too bad and not professional at all! These women have changed the face of acting!!! You guys don't understand! My father NEVER watches Nigerian television! NEVER! But he sat with me and my sis and watched season 1, and he's collected my season 2 dvds! That one sef, I never even watch! Going to go buy another set! KUDOS TO YOU ALL!!! MAY GOD MAKE YOUR ENEMIES CONSTIPATED!!!

  51. Linda!!! Where do you get these weirdos that keep asking stupid questions???? Why is a Nigerian film premiering in London??? American films premiere in the UK, in Germany and the Likes, Ghanaian films even premiere in Nigeria, so why should a Nigerian film premiering in the UK be a problem???? And someone calls the actresses dressed in African print Iya rapata because they didnt wear skimpy outfits? Linda....where do you get them from?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Seriously! Those ladies are full of talents, especially UJU! She made the movie come alive and adaorah's cool too! We should learn to clebrate our own people!look @ the crowd that came out for the premier, its. Something to be. Happy for people instead of hating!

  61. I was told that the story a lot of people don't know is that it was the UK that actually demanded that a LEKKI WIVES MOVIE be made after they saw the series and fell in love with the ladies. The organisers Cokobar, UN1TY and Nollywood Movies went all out to get the crowd to both venues and in the history of Movie premieres in the diaspora, this crowd had never been seen!

If only Nigerians know how much they are loved in the Diaspora!!!!
