    1. What of you? U usually celebrate ur birthday, I'm sure of that, so, what have u achieved so far in your life? Nothing, yet, u celebrate ur birthday one way or the other. Miles stones in once life are meant to be celebrated, and there are all kinds of miles stones. The fact that you are alive to celebrate ur birthday, is a mile stone. The fact that the country is still together and has not disintegrated is a mile stone and is worthy of being celebrated.

Congratulations to Nigeria on its 100th year of existence. Gbosaaaaa!!!

  16. Decorating, honoring, celebrating and smiling while there is insecurity of lives and properties in Nigeria and the blood of innocent Nigerians: children, fathers, mothers, are being shed on a daily basis.

Centenary celebration when thousands of Nigerian youths are roaming about the streets jobless. Boko Haram can be traced to lack of jobs and irresponsibility of Nigerian leaders.

Centenary awards to looters, corrupt politicians... just very few deserve the awards

I know its not easy for the president after all uneasy lies the head that wears the crown but its worst for the average Nigerian because we live in fear for our lives and the lives of our loved ones, we live in fear because we don't know where the next target is..

God we look up to You for Your deliverance.

  30. Dear Mr President,
Hope you are heavenly blessed and favoured. It is lovely to see such a well staged event honouring legends who have made a contribution to the Nigeria today. However something within me is troubled, it might be due to the fact that just recently, there has yet again being more tragic news of killing in the country, yet dear President this does not seem to affect you in anyway what so ever for you seem so happy without a care in the world.

However Mr President, I am worried. Surely it be nice if you were honoured In heaven for the great things you achieved while in the position God placed you in. The soil of the land is stained with the blood of many innocent people, the hearts of your people has been broken by tragic news and sudden changes to their circumstances. The youth are unemployed and can not see a way forward so they turn to crime, many of our young girls has turned to the streets to hustle in order just to get their daily bread, while some have turned to drug trafficking and internet scams and of course how can I possibly forget false prophets.

It was a breath of fresh air when Nigerian won the African Cup of Nations, finally I felt some good news can come from this country but immediately after kidnapping of course continued.

It is lovely to honour legends who have made a contribution to Nigeria today, but I shall continue to pray for you and for the country for I know without a shadow of doubt, one day soon you shall see the power of God, the Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Alpha and Omega, the great Light and Divine Spirit. He will visit you Mr President and my prayer are that may he honour you for the great goodness you also have done for that great country.

The pictures are beautiful. Hope my message to you finds you well.

  42. You reach back into your history to celebrate those who wounded you most. Why is it called Stockholm Syndrome and not Abuja Syndrome?GEJ dishing out centenary awards to some of the most corrupt leaders the world has ever seen leaves a lot to be desired.Seriously, can someone tell me that Babangida, Obasanjo, and Buhari represent the best that Nigeria has produced? Or is it an award for the wreckers and destroyers of Nigeria? Are we adulating Obasanjo for the heinous thievery that propelled him from pre-presidential penury to becoming the richest ex-president in Africa? Or we congratulating him for the massacre of innocent civilians in Odi? Is Babangida being garlanded for having taken corruption to unprecedented heights in Nigeria or for annulling the freest elections ever conducted by Africans? Are we felicitating Buhari for the blood of the innocent youth corps members who were slaughtered in the north after he infamously promised that the blood of baboons would be spilt? Or are we thanking him for having headed a tyranical military regime that executed people on the basis of retroactive laws? One needs not wonder why Nigeria is the way it is.

I hate most Nigerians because all they do is condemn others.... If God wants to destroy this world again, Naija is definately going to be the first. As its people have decided to remain useless to the country. Most of the youths that complain of unemployment are lazy youths. Must u wait for the government to do everything for u. If u can't go out there and help urselves. Den stop complaining. Am sick and tired of youths and their complain. Go out and do something for urself. And about Boko Haram, they are just a very confused sect. All they are looking for is war in Nigeria. If only they could be fetched out, they've taken so many innocent lives. And I get to wonder, the kind and type of orientation this beastly individuals have. They wanna make Nigeria ungovernable for Jonathan, and give Nigerians sleepless nights???? Lol. God hasn't visited them yet. They should just wait and see how they'll each die.... Rubbish sect. How can Nigeria grow, when we have low thinking minds. Minds that cannot see and reason far. A country with shallow minded people will always remain shallow.... Y'all should give Jonathan a break.

Omokri sharrap I'm angry right nw, what if buhari family were amongst the children killed in Adamawa? What if abacha grand son was among those they massacred? What if Obasanjo's grand son was in the school where our children were massacred? and the 20 female they kidnap to un no destination? What if IBB, daughter in-law was a teacher in any of those schools? Were all thos children were murdered? What if Jonathan's son attends any of those schools? It is sad to imagine our leaders are celebrating 100years of mismanagement, misappropriation, insecurity corruption everywhere even in the army, and lack of sense of good judgment at a time when we lost over a hundred of our school children! What if David Marks' only daughter was amongst the innocent children murdered? Etc. Would these shameless leaders have any thing to rejoice over? Would it NOT be enough reason to postpone this wastage called centenary celebration. On top waiting corrupt leaders? Like abacha IBB etc. All dos evil men dat loot Nigeria resources? we have the right and power to ask GEJ and his cohorts to apologize for their incompetence. This is NOT about PDP or APC. The Nigeria political class has failed us. But PDP must GO, our children's life no longer matter. What if any of these kids are theirs? Enough is enough!!!Let us push this message forward. You would be surprised this message would get to over 60million Nigerians. Sufficient to remove any of these so called leaders. Com 2015, please don't break this! Send this message to everyone on your network. Every Nigerian child has right to Leave.Your own child will not be murdered by Bokoharam. In jesus name Amen.

    1. Hausa/Fulani set the stage for Boko Haram when they embarked on insulting the nation with their sharia. As a consequence of sharia and BH, many southerners have been massacred much to the delight of many northerners. The Northern governors who introduced sharia did so to undermine the christian president. Rather than use their huge unfair federal allocations to develop the North and end the Almajari system, they blew on hookers in Dubai. Go to youtube and see videos of a former governor of Borno dancing, drinking beer in Dubai and spraying dollars. Yet they would want other Nigerians to swallow their false story of poverty or anybody else being responsible for BH.

  66. “Gradually but noticeably, Nigerians appear to have lost the appetite to celebrate anything. Embedded in our newfound affinity for low key celebration and an infinite state of sober reflection is the true state of the nation.

“Can we really celebrate when our children are being slaughtered while at school? Can we really celebrate when our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters are being slaughtered like chickens?

“Can we really celebrate when our fellow citizens live in constant and growing fear of kidnappers, hired assassins and armed robbers? Can we really celebrate when those constitutionally empowered to protect us turn their fury on us?

Oga Jona, we have heard enough of these your super-story, tackle the problem at hand, we need security, our children are killed daily in schools, is this the way to train up the future leaders?
We their parents can't go to work because no petrol and businesses are down due to that too.
