Young Nigerians are losing their lives more frequently than ever...yet I keep getting updates of one 'celebrity' going nude or topless...Nigerian bloggers, you have the platform and opportunity to reach out and cause change in ways that newspapers, tv stations, radio etc can't ...what do you do with that? Post mindless stories?Do you know the power of the media? The online media is the new media and it is a platform the youths need that they can get their voices heard Since the youths can't afford paying for advertorials on newspaper/radio/tv to get their voices heard, we have the new media and our generation is connected to it! So what are we telling our generation? What are we sharing to them on a daily? Do you know that the same bc, tweet or facebook post you send out can bring about or start a change that will affect our nation and change lives if you send the right content?Are we using the social media to pose for semi-nude pictures (to see how many people think we are cute)? Or post pictures of our new clothes, ride, crib, babe/guy etc?Are we staying online to view pictures of how celebrities dress? undress? Etc?I weep for this generation because we have been so lucky to be given a platform to air our voices - the social media - yet we are using it for mindless frolicking and baseless posts.Naija youths, WAKE UP.     Bia, listen, if you want to air pictures like these, get a professional to do it for you. I understand we ladies like to feel sexy about our bodies once in a while. Your picture looks like those vietnames sex slave during the vietnam war less the tigol bitties and chunky thighs.
