Gunmen kill 69 people in Katsina State

69 people including men, women and children were killed in separate attacks and several houses razed in 3 villages in Katsina State this week. Fulani Herdsmen have been accused of being behind the recent attack.

Confirming the attack to AFP, a lawmaker in the state, Honorable Abbas Abdullahi Michika said the men attacked three villages; Mararrabar Maigor, Kura Mota and Maigura Villages, where 47, 7 and 8 bodies were recovered from each village respectively
"So far, 69 bodies have been recovered from the attacks carried out by a large group of gunmen riding on motorcycles".
Fulani Herdsmen have been in a running battle with local farmers over the loss of grazing land which is important for their cattle.

    1. Imprison the gays and celebrate child molesters, the motto of Nigeria, the long sunset has come to Nigeria.

President Imbecile Jonathan signed your souls away when he signed that wicked bill, and you were all applauding, getting your priorities twisted.

Jesus won't save you, the world won't come to your defense and you will all see retribution.

Sad really that a country so blessed, was blinded to what was coming. You've been tested and found wanting.

    10. Something should be done about this Fulani herdsmen and their knack for sting attacks. They like engaging their host communities in clashes that always get bloody. They have always seen themselves as lords over the lands of their hosts, and allow their cattle to destroy people's crop, all in the name of grazing.@ Anon 12:45 ;You are so stupid that instead of addressing the issue at hand, you brought up another story that is not relevant to the issue in discussion. What has the fight between Fulani herdsmen and farmers got to do with the anti-gay law.Linda, please screen and moderate the comments made by anonymous persons on your blog.

  3. When it appears we're winning the war against boko haram,Fulani herdsmen and their evil are on the rise again.
The other day it was Benue state, they are always in conflict with their hosts.
The main solution is not to even accommodate them at all,coz one day they will turn around to fight you.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Maybe it is time to ban motorcycles, 4x4 buses in fact all vehicles in the north. So next time they want to carry out their attacks will have to match there or ride on camels. So that will give people enough notice to run, abi

  37. The northerners doesn't and never support Boko Haram what so ever. And please stop accusing the fulanis. This Violence doesn't look like something personal, its openly political, and we all know how fulanis cared about their herdship, they don't give a damn about politics. We also knew that Boko Haram has already faded long ago. We and whoever is behind this bloodshed will not live forever, May God save us all...
