C.O.D United offer fans 3 customized new jerseys

Champions of Lagos, C.O.D United have been ranked as the best Nigerian football club and sports brand on social media spaces by Alder Consulting, a renowned creative intelligence company.

The Alder Social Media report listed the club as the most effective in the use of social media in disseminating information and engaging its fans. The club ranked second overall in effectiveness in the sports category of social media behind Supersports.com and ahead of goal.com who finished in third place. The clubalso has been tagged as a social media icon alongside brands like GTBank, MTN and Guinness. Continue...

Speaking on the ranking, Sola Aiyepeku, the executive director of the club said the club was delighted by the ranking and would continue to work hard to leverage all platforms to interface and engage its supporters. "We are pleased at the ranking and proud to emerge as the best Nigerian club on social media. It shows our social media strategy is working and our supporters are being engaged. Everyone knows that social media is the new frontier and we are glad our steps in this space is being noticed and acknowledged. We are however aware that there is still  more work to be done
and we won't be resting on our oars."

C.O.D United has a facebook page, a twitter handle and a Youtube channel where it airs highlights of games as well as interviews with players and coaches. It is the only football club in Nigeria with an online TV channel and megastore.

The club  recently redesigned its logo to reflect the progress it has made and the future it aspires to. The new logo design retains some elements from its old logo but has adopted a refreshing, more aggressive look.

The club has also adopted a new stripped jersey design, a departure from the white tops, red shorts combination it has used for the past seven years.

With the players and fans of the club are very excited and the club is giving away three customized jerseys to randomly selected fans who arefollowing the club twitter handle before its March 22nd, 2014 home game at Onikan Stadium.

  7. CORRECT YOUR GRAMMAR...C.O.D HAS been ranked, not HAVE been ranked.....Even if the name Champions is on the name of the club, it is not a plural but a singular plural (one club with many people). Pay me for the correction....I always do that for you and you never acknowledge it. Ask who is OKEY GRAMMAR on your post. My name starts with an A and middle name with an S and surname with an A just for you to decode. I use a gmail with my full names.
