Chief of Army Staff relocates to troubled North East

The Chief of Army staff,  Lt. Gen, Kenneth Minimah has relocated to the warring North East zone of Nigeria where the Boko Haram insurgence has been on the increase in recent times. The Army Chief is said to have relocated there following the Feb. 26th directive by the National Assembly members for him to be present at the insurgent zone so he can personally monitor the situation there and give proper direction to the fight against the terror group.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence and the Army, George Sekibo has confirmed the Army Chief's relocation.

    1. That's how it ought to be, a king should be at the war front leading his soldiers to to war, he must be at the heat of the action, he must be at the war front leading his soldiers to war, so he should be where the action is happening

  3. Now this is what am talking about.Let him be here with us and feel the heat of the violence. When the media report mayhems of BH,they tend to understate the real terror.Let him see the attack with his own eyes, the wailings of the young, women and aged, the dead bodies of helpless nigerians, the deserted homes of the innocent and the eerie silence that pervaded the area under attack.Maybe seeing all this will spur him to real action

We need digital surveillance and aerial strike to crush and check mate this monstrous and vicious killer called boko haram once and for all. This will force other group which are yet to spring out to have a reconsideration before waging war against the government.
    Well let's hope it does.

    1. U are stupid for that statement. Is d COAS not a human being like ur father? So if he's @ d war front Nija problems will be over. U could hv asked d Presidency, NASS, Govs and all Political office holders to relocate to Maiduguri. Is d Army d course of BH? There's no day a soldier does not die n nobody talks abt it. These are pple's husbands, fathers, brothers, sons etc. Bcs u are not directly affected does not mean the dead soldiers don't hv loved ones.and what are they still doing with political structures in those states? Who are they governing? Let them shift so d soldiers will know they are in full scale war with those insurgents.
