A gang of seven armed robbers today Sunday March 2 invaded The Vine Branch Church in Yemetu, Ibadan, Oyo state.
According to eyewitnesses, the robbery gang stormed the church around 12noon while the service was going on and after offering and tithes had been collected. The robbers told the congregation to
lie on the floor and robbed in an operation that lasted 15 minutes. They took away Tithes/Offering, phones and other items.
The resident Pastor, Sola Kolade confirmed the incident and said some members sustained injuries. A member of the church who witnessed the incident said a police officer was killed in the operation but I can't confirm that...

We in the church must fear God more and retrace our steps. Robbers entering the presense of God and going leaving worshippers traumertised and then leaving without an encounter with God is thought provoking.
