Armed robbers invade Vine Branch Church in Ibadan during service

A gang of seven armed robbers today Sunday March 2 invaded The Vine Branch Church in Yemetu, Ibadan, Oyo state.

According to eyewitnesses, the robbery gang stormed the church around 12noon while the service was going on and after offering and tithes had been collected. The robbers told the congregation to lie on the floor and robbed in an operation that lasted 15 minutes. They took away Tithes/Offering, phones and other items.

The resident Pastor, Sola Kolade confirmed the incident and said some members sustained injuries. A member of the church who witnessed the incident said a police officer was killed in the operation but I can't confirm that...

We are the ones spoiling our country, yet we put the blame on one man. May God help us all. As for those criminals, they just signed their damination, how can u robb man and God? That's y I initially said, we have individuals of very shallow mind in this country. With such people, how can we grow. Nigeria, which way forward??
