Omotola and husband Captain Mathew Ekeinde recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. The star actress gave a shout out to her husband on instagram this evening with a video tagged with a special message. See the message below...

      The celebration of their 18yrs anniversary is a testimony of what marriage is all about, and should be all about, and its a breath of fresh air from all the negative stories we have been hearing about marriage on blogs, "dear LIB readers;
      my husband is this,
      my wife is that,
      my marriage is that"
      I am tired of my marriage,
      I want a divorce, etc
      At least this is a different angle and its a positive that there are still working marriages and at least some persons who are beginning to think marriage is all sour, will have a rethink, and know marriage still has the joy its known for and can still works if we don't have misplaced priorities and also always put God first, and they are role models to younger ones like me

      This what happens when couples prepare for marriage and not wedding, when singles prepare for the marriage of "for better for worse", they are more equiped with the right tools, coupled with the grace of God to make it work, but that is not the case this days, as divorce is a norm and even celebrated by most people, divorce has become very trendy this days, because singles fail to prepare for marriage but prepare for wedding ceremony
      May God continue to bless their marriage, congratulobia to them on their 18th wedding anniversary

    Omotola kudos to you girl! You and ur hubby has decided to make it work cos it ain't easy. I couldn't do it, I left after 4 years, gave myself a break. Refuse to date anyone or commit myself to a serious relationship but one guy has been on my neck for almost a year, I want to do it again but I am so scared of maRriage.
