The newly appointed chairman of the People's Democratic Party,
PDP, Alhaji Adamu Muazu at a stakeholders meeting with party elders from Ebonyi state yesterday jokingly addressed the sleeping
nature of the Secretary to the Federal Government, Anyim Pius Anyim.
While addressing the party elders which comprised of the Ebonyi
state Governor, Martin Elechi, Health Minister Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu
and other eminent Ebonyi PDP elders, Alhaji Muazu took a look at Anyim
Pius Anyim who had dozed off and said;
"Mr. Anyim, I hope you have not started doing what you like doing best,”
Mu'azu said, the laughter that
followed from the audience woke up the sleeping SGF.
Mr Ayim is said to have a history of sleeping in meetings.While he was in
the senate house under the leadership of the late Chief Chuba Okadigbo,
he interrupted the late leader during his speech after waking up
spontaneously from his sleeping and decided to offer a suggestion. When
asked what was being discussed, he smiled and all the senators burst out laughing

This is a senior govt official who doesn't know the importance of his position or the role he's supposed to be playing. This act should be condemned and not treated jokingly like you've done Linda. They(Politicians) treat everything concerning us with levity.That is why a SFG will be sleeping when important issues are being discussed. DeleteI agree with you, its really embarrassing that a top government official like pius anyim who is secretary to the federal government will be sleeping during a meeting where issues that affect the nation is being discussed, it might be a PDP meeting, but that's a sign that he does that on other important meetings like the post also claimed, really some of our leaders are clueless such abysmal attitude will not be tolerated in western countries which we as a country aim to emulate and as such should be condemned

He has EDS (excessive daytime sleepiness) due to Obstructive Sleep Apnoea(OSA). He should get a sleep study test (polysomnogram or PSG for short) for diagnosis, and then start treatment like CPAP. His obesity, short fat neck, male gender and possibly high BP are the cause. He most likely snores at night, and even during daytime naps

Its that state or region short of professionals that will represents them at the central?
