Sosoliso Aircrash survivor, Kechi Okwuchi's message to president Jonathan
Kechi Okwushi, one of the students who survived the 2005 Sosoliso air crash is now a big girl and in this YouTube video asked the president to do the needful in the Aviation sector. Watch...
I wish uncle Jona will hear this message and do the needful.People are dying everyday from plane crash to Boko Harrass and the people in Aso rock dont seem to care a hoot. To the departed RIP and to those of us living let us keep praying for this country called Nigeria
First blog comment ever, but this video literally brought tears to my eyes. Kechi, may God bless your beautiful sole and perfect your healing. May He bless, comfort and continue to support your family, may His hands touch the lives of those that came to your aid- may they never lack helpers. May God bless our country Nigeria and her leaders, may He ultimately guide them to make more selfless decisions. May the Lord never turn His back on our nation!
God bless you dear... I know your message will reach the necessary authorities including Mr. President and I pray they get touched and act upon. It is well... God bless Nigeria.
I assume u've never been in any nigerian plane up there... d day u'll be, then u'll feel sorry for ur comment... plus never pray to have such fate as she did... imbecile!!!!
Dear Keshi,I thank for your survival.Ms Oduah was doing the much needed 'needful'before she fell from grace.I do hope that her succesor will consolidate on her achievements as the Aviation Minister.
I couldn't control the river of warm tears flooding down to my cheeks.God! This lady was so pretty b4 the crash.I admire her resilience, courage and luv for her country.I hope the president is seeing this
You are clearly part of the wrong in this country. What has Jona's life got to do with this. Use your brain ill mannered girl. You don't have to be rude to send a message across. Learn from Keshi.
Rara o Bukola. How's it really Jonah? He wasn't d presido then na. I hope I don't come across as being insensitive but ds video shd be addressed to OBJ inclusive. He was our leader then n I think (if I'm right) Naija had more crashes in his regime.....but then I bless God for ur safety
Meaning, u wanna have abortion. May God forgive u,if u never wanted it,why did u open ur leg.Better leave that child cos u don't know what he/she will become in d future.Or have urself regrets all d days of ur life.Silly....
God bless you Kechi, preach it!! Nigeria is really going down and we all have a role to play. I pray this touches hearts and moves everyone that can make a difference to do so...
Kechi, you are a strong young woman. This video moved me tears. I had water eyes, but if i'd watched in the privacy of my home I would've wailed. I remember then as a 16 year old how I wailed on December 10th, 2005 after the news of the plane crash spread. I cried for days….My dear sister, God bless you. I really admire you. I really pray we have to cry no more.
This made me cry...we thank God for ur life.human lives is so precious buh our govt decided to use them to play ludo.hope dis gets to d president.something shoud be done so fast
Chaiiiiii! This girl don make we weak. Kai! Everything she said is true, unfortunately. My heart is with her and her family, what a horrific, tragic experience (if that is even enough to describe it). We are already aware of the deplorable conditions of our aviation industry. Our aircrafts are an accident waiting to happen. Is it complacency that causes institutions that are created/ individuals that are appointed to safeguard against these tragedies,to do nothing? The answer is no, because our aviation sector is "the pits". So what is the problem? The problems are, a recurring lack of focus, huge overhead expenditures, excessive political interference in the sector, a lack of transparency and accountability, official profligacy and "yea" the mother of them all, INFECTIOUS CORRUPTION!!! Reduce these flaws to a manageable level( because they will never be totally eradicated) and observe.... To the girl in the video, you are in my prayers! God be with you.
Hello Linda, please don't post my comment. Great job you doing with your blog. I can't help but notice Kechi saying that her accident occurred on the 10 Dec 2005.
Your summary on the story say 2006. Which is please?
wow! so inspiring and powerful. wish her all the best. We only hoe and pray that those who can do something about it actually listen to her and take action. all the best to Kechi and other plane crash survivors
YES KECHI!! Tell it! We thank God for your life and I'm sure you would go places.Linda please change the spelling of her surname. it's Okwuchi. Thanks.
Lost someone in a plane crash last year and the pain is immense. They kill going children on our country and our president still parties on. He should have taken it off the media since people had already been invited and made it more of a mourning gathering in their honour. .. despicable!
Rosie Said........I had tears in my eyes while listing to this poor girl who has gone thru so much.My dear Kechi, may God continue to be your rock..........And by the way,I did not hear her mention sosoliso airline as one those that helped her.Aren't they supposed to have insurance?
Omg!,1st of want 2 thank God 4 ur lyf,u r a source of encouragement to a lot of ppl out there..being a survivor u still hv so much courage n ready to stand up 4 this nation...n I'm sure the contry doznt even have a record 4 ppl wu hv bin tru 1 tin or d oda due to d carelessness of d country to suport dem in any way they can...(Still av so much 2 say) bt wishing u success in future surgeries n may God perfect the healing he has stated.God bless u.
Its mind blowing to watch how gracefully this lady has managed her situation and does not seem to have an iota of negative energy to the Nigerian system. This is true Leadership and Christianity.
Ojai says" wow kechi my friend, am so so happy for u, anytime i see u, i thank God for u. Thats is a good one. U spoke well. And u made this speech becos of wht u went tru and is still going tru. Its well with u
We only hope that your plea will not fall on deaf ears just like the others before and after yours. God bless you Kechi and keep your family strong. Believe that there's a reason you're still here on earth to fulfil His plans.
Btw Linda, crash happened in december '05 not '06.
Awwwww words can't express my emotions...it can only get better Nigerians when we are ready to make it so...! Nollywood movies have ran out of good story line, I would really lv to watch a movie for sosoliso/dana plane crash victims buh then even when they have a story line, their plot alwys hv to mess it up.....Rip to everyone that died in sosoliso plane crash, your country might hv forgottn about you but your "family" hasn't......#cheezyjayne
anonymous 4:59 permit me to say u are very HEARTLESS, how dear you make such statement wit such a heart wrenching video and message in a bid 2 improve the safety of lying on air 2 prevent lost of life, i pray non of your loved once nor u ever encounter the pain so many loved once of this tragic situation are going through, then maybe you'll have a heart of sympathy. its people as heartless as u dat are destroying this country. am so pissed my ur heartless nd inhuman comment.
this is a touching message it truly hurts watching this video. but i would like to stress on her major point in this video. HSE.. In the aviation sector needs to be reviewed.... according to OSHA law.. all workers and customers have a right to a safe environment. it is the duty of the government all avaition stakeholders to impliment and manage safety policies within the sector... with the re-occuring air accidents in the country their is a need to re-visit our existing HSE Policies and review. considering the need for an air tight emergency action plan to help reduce death toll in case of an aircrash and other important checks to prevent a crash. in conclusion the fight for a better nigeria involves everyone and not the government alone.
i feel for this young lady...very sad. but in my own opinion,i think HSE Policies within the aviation sector needs to be reviewed this is not a matter of jonathan alone it involves all stakeholders within the avaition sector that includes you and me.OSHA Law 1970 states that all workers and customers have a right to safety and their is a clear need for an emergency Action plan in case of an air accident across states.. not just airport rennovations....
Sad!
