May He bless, comfort and continue to support your family, may His hands touch the lives of those that came to your aid- may they never lack helpers. May God bless our country Nigeria and her leaders, may He ultimately guide them to make more selfless decisions. May the Lord never turn His back on our nation!

  33. Kechi, you are a strong young woman. This video moved me tears. I had water eyes, but if i'd watched in the privacy of my home I would've wailed. I remember then as a 16 year old how I wailed on December 10th, 2005 after the news of the plane crash spread. I cried for days….My dear sister, God bless you. I really admire you. I really pray we have to cry no more.

  44. Chaiiiiii! This girl don make we weak. Kai! Everything she said is true, unfortunately. My heart is with her and her family, what a horrific, tragic experience (if that is even enough to describe it). We are already aware of the deplorable conditions of our aviation industry. Our aircrafts are an accident waiting to happen. Is it complacency that causes institutions that are created/ individuals that are appointed to safeguard against these tragedies,to do nothing? The answer is no, because our aviation sector is "the pits". So what is the problem? The problems are, a recurring lack of focus, huge overhead expenditures, excessive political interference in the sector, a lack of transparency and accountability, official profligacy and "yea" the mother of them all, INFECTIOUS CORRUPTION!!! Reduce these flaws to a manageable level( because they will never be totally eradicated) and observe.... To the girl in the video, you are in my prayers! God be with you.

  58. Lost someone in a plane crash last year and the pain is immense. They kill going children on our country and our president still parties on. He should have taken it off the media since people had already been invited and made it more of a mourning gathering in their honour. .. despicable!

  59. So touching, I listened with rapt attention, I jst hope that the govt and aviation sector sees this.

  93. anonymous 4:59 permit me to say u are very HEARTLESS, how dear you make such statement wit such a heart wrenching video and message in a bid 2 improve the safety of lying on air 2 prevent lost of life, i pray non of your loved once nor u ever encounter the pain so many loved once of this tragic situation are going through, then maybe you'll have a heart of sympathy. its people as heartless as u dat are destroying this country. am so pissed my ur heartless nd inhuman comment.

    ReplyDelete
  94. couldn't help crying. Thank God for helping her everyday. Really hope that stakeholders in the aviation sector watch this.

    ReplyDelete
  95. this is a touching message it truly hurts watching this video. but i would like to stress on her major point in this video. HSE.. In the aviation sector needs to be reviewed.... according to OSHA law.. all workers and customers have a right to a safe environment. it is the duty of the government all avaition stakeholders to impliment and manage safety policies within the sector... with the re-occuring air accidents in the country their is a need to re-visit our existing HSE Policies and review. considering the need for an air tight emergency action plan to help reduce death toll in case of an aircrash and other important checks to prevent a crash.
in conclusion the fight for a better nigeria involves everyone and not the government alone.

    ReplyDelete
  96. i feel for this young lady...very sad. but in my own opinion,i think
HSE Policies within the aviation sector needs to be reviewed this is not a matter of jonathan alone it involves all stakeholders within the avaition sector that includes you and me.OSHA Law 1970 states that all workers and customers have a right to safety and their is a clear need for an emergency Action plan in case of an air accident across states.. not just airport rennovations....
