Mind u, it is right opposite major road at challenge, and d brach is a major one for 1st bank in d city, so u wouldnt want to type ur pin or # while someone watching u. Lastly, that thing was put together by 1st bank and NOT yoruba or anyones father. So y'all should know bera.
DeleteI wonder where linda get her stories sometimes sha,if you have been to the place you will know there is no hook on the metal let alone lock,so ibadan people are not criminally minded or primitive as you are trying to portray them.

ReplyDeleteHey funny IB
ReplyDeleteThis is not true. There are no locks on these atms. I have used them several times. The security personnel only help those who can't operate the machines. Though I am not from Ibadan, I go there once in a while and I have used the atms shown in this article.
ReplyDeleteIbadan people are local peeps, sorry to say if your from there #bright bravo#

ReplyDeleteNa wa o ds can only happen in nigeria , y is it that we čan not do things right oga o.
ReplyDeleterazzites!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOmo ibadan, ki ni so? Lmaooo
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm, big fat lie. The ATMs are stationed at first bank, Gbagi market, Ibadan. The iron shields are there to give the users total privacy which is really needed because the ATMs are situated opposite a very busy road. There was always a very long and squeezed up queue behind each user, which made it easy for other users on the queue to view details displayed on the ATM screen as well as what the user was typing before the introduction of the shields as customers queued within the lilttle space available between the bank premises and the busy road.
ReplyDeleteSecurity never intervene except assistance was requested by user (mostly semi literate) since it's in the middle of a market .
P.S: I am not a staff of the bank, I am just a regular customer of that particular branch because I have a shop in the market.
Hmmmmm, dat awkward moment, when you re withdrawing your cash jeje. Den one thugs pops head into dat metal cage, only to discover dey don beat security man. You can't shout ooo, dat wont be called a robbery any longer sha, .........checking oxford advanced learners dictionary for d name 😁

ReplyDeleteEven d Security Guard in Question, need a Guard EJK
ReplyDeleteLinda, I think u have something against Ibadan and its ppl. First there is lawlessness in the world and Ibadan is not an exception. Even here in the U.S.A. There have been reports of robberies involving ATMs. Some ppl uprooted the ATM and took the ATM away. You are not exposed that is why these things are news to u. The owners of ATMs have to protect their investment anyway they can.
ReplyDeleteLinda, Stella Oduah has been sacked..........check Sahara Reporters
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaar habatically!!

ReplyDeleteFunny but Linda y IB again..
ReplyDeleteNoooo! Linda this is a false alarm. It's only at First Bank ATMs at Ibadan that you see this iron protectors, like @ UI, Agodi, Challenge, Mokola R/About, etc. I don't know their intention, but in most cases they are not manned by any security man. Perhaps it's just for queue/crowd control.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable........
ReplyDeleteUpon all the claiming to be the most educated people in Nigeria.
so funny, can't they just bend and enter the metal compartment?!
ReplyDeleteSo what have you gained from this erroneous report which prompted readers of your blog to start abusing the Yorubas?
ReplyDeleteHehehe o dikwa risky
ReplyDeleteHahaha
ReplyDeleteHehehe
ReplyDeleteLinda... Na wah for you ooo, you just love to expose us. No be their fault now, they have to protect their properties from all those satanic eyes
ReplyDeleteLmao! Linda you just had to twist this gist to make it sound funny abi? The iron cage is certainly not for the security men to lock and unlock anytime there's a user....its for customers' protection....Linda no do make yoruba people for this blog vex for you o, Lol

ReplyDeleteDis atm @ Mokola, Its a lie,I av used d atm a couple of times and I dint see any guard waitin to lock it. Whoever gaave u dis info is wrong linds...its just mere coincedenc dt d security man was stndn dere wen d person took d pic.
ReplyDeleteOnce you dont have news to Publish you take on Yoruba people yeah. Geez
ReplyDeleteThat is one bank among thousands of banks. Stop making Ibadan look bad. All ATMs are not like this
ReplyDeleteIts at all First bank branches in Ibadan but security men are not stationed there to lock & unlock them. They don't have locks.
ReplyDeleteis it ibadan ppl 2 blame or d bank?nt there fault that d bank did dat. u shld also put the name of the bank also.
ReplyDeleteI do not comment on blogs, but on seeing this post i knew i had to clarify the situation. They do not lock those things in front of the atms, in fact they were done to protect the users from heavy dust in that particular area when the bridge was being built. I am not a native of Ibadan, i reside there....i have seen so many things being written on here as total hogwash.
ReplyDeleteIS WELL OOO
ReplyDeleteIts a lie they dont lock it !!!!! You open it yourself and use it !!

ReplyDeleteHahahahahahah" this reminds me in unity road in ilorin, Kara state. I don't know if it is still like that though, but it was the last time I was there. It wasn't hilarious then, seemed necessary, but looking at this pics though, I couldn't help but laugh.

ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteI think it's distasteful to take a very tiny aspect of a city and emphasize it as representative of the city! I thought you knew better. Expected more from you.

ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha......can't stop laughing. Linda oooooo
ReplyDeleteThats a petty jab at Ibadan people. I can frankly see that you've come to an all time low, or maybe you've always been that way. Well once a bum always a bum, a little more money or not. Before you go on with your lame blog posts, is that an Ibadan or First bank thingy? Dummy
ReplyDeleteLinda what is it with you and always degrading the people of Ibadan. I don't see the humor in this. Its a bank that protects their atm with metal bars.. Big deal.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you post this unnecessary story if its not that you just want your readers to start insulting yoruba people. There are razz people everywhere, so please just drop this ibadan thing abeg, its not funny..
This is a new level of low even for you... U shld post wt sense. Act ur age and post wt maturity dt u claim or think you have.
ReplyDeleteGuess there's someone behind the maching paying the cash manually.... Manual teller Machine.... Lol
ReplyDeletehehehehehe......
ReplyDeleteLinda na lie....dey dnt lock it
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahaha
ReplyDeletefunny u Linda, how could dat be possible
ReplyDeleteThe truth is almost or all First bank branches located by the roadside in Ibadan have this compartments to ensure the privacy of the users. The security in the picture is just there by chance, not like he is locking the user in. If that was the case, then FBN would have recruited more security staff for this purpose. Whoever brought this up is a clown. I love my Ibadan jawe....
ReplyDeleteThis thin linda jst dey post anyfin dey send to her....HABA
ReplyDeleteSum pple be shouting ibadan be village when were u stay in lag is lik a slum...SMH
