Boko Haram attacks Federal Govt College Yobe, kills 29 students

Men suspected to be members of the Islamic Sect, Boko Haram, today Tuesday Feb 25th launched an attack on students of the Federal Government College Buni-Yadi Yobe state, killing 29 students (or more), Hausa Service BBC reports. Some buildings in the school were also reportedly razed.

Sources at the school said the men invaded the school in the early hours of this morning while the students were still sleeping in their hostels and slaughtered them. Guns were not used in the attack as was the sect's usual practice, probably to avoid the attention of people. They used machetes.

The Federal Government College Buni Yadi is a co-educational institution located some 55km south of Damaturu the Yobe State capital. This is the fourth attack on secondary schools since the inception of the sect members.

seeking ways and means to “die” in power. They are not sensitive to the plight of the man-in-the-street.
The persistently scramble for juicy positions and the crumbs. Their children do not attend our schools; they do not seek medical care in our hospitals and they have acquired stolen “capacity” to achieve anything. May all the curses in the Holy Bible be their lot. QED.

I am tired of hearing this nonsense of the boko haram guys being better equipped than our Military. if we allow these killings to continue it might extend to the south it is not like we are better equipped in the south. These victims are Nigerians for goodness sake. What crime did those innocent children commit that they are denied their right to life. They were not even given the opportunity to defend themselves. These boko haram guys are the biggest cowards ever. Killing innocent harmless kids. Goodluck stop sleeping please come to the rescue of our Northern brothers. You are the president of Nigeria. I don't even know the type advisers you have. May the souls of those kids rest in peace. May Almighty God give their family members the fortitude to bear the the loss of their loved ones.
