  9. Very soon he will say he supports homosexuality. But, on another note, when you hear homos defending their right to love, you would think anything sensible could come from rubbish relationships like theirs. That was until ellen revealed her divorce or whatever. Can't help but laugh.
    Mwaha.

  11. Linda he just told us that he isn't a Nigeria; that his parents are Nigerian while he is a Londoner. With that said, can u now stop calling him a Nigerian or Nigerian actor. He doesn't regard himself a Nigerian. It's time we stops claiming those who don't clam us.

  24. Whether we like it or not, he is not a Nigerian actor. He is British. Ramsey Nouah and Jim Iyke are Nigerian actors. Chiwetel was born and raised in the UK. He just has Nigerian parents and that's it. When those 2 black boys killed a soldier in woolwich, Nigerians were disowning him but now everyone wants to claim Chiwetel. Pls don't bite me o. Just saying it as it is......

His parents are Nigeria, yes, but his parents live their lives in London before they had him, Chiwetel was born and he live all his life in London. He's not Nigeria period.

  33. 12yrs a slave, Ȋ̝̊̅§ so so emoional, I cried most of the time through d movie. Slavery Ȋ̝̊̅§ such a terrible thing. Chiwetel did justice to d movie! Congrats to him on d golden globe win

  34. Why enjoy ladies linda?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I watched "12 years a slave" just before Christmas, it is one fucked up movie. It tells the story of slavery like no other.I cant believe the things they did to slaves back then.As for Chiwetel Ejiofor, the man was born and raised in east London by Igbo parents.Chances are that he doesn't know where Nigeria is on the map,so what makes him Nigerian? The guy is British,or maybe British Nigerian. For those who don't know Igbo,Chiwetel (short for Chukwu wetel) means "from God" or "that which God brought" while Ejiofor(a very common surname) can be loosely translated as "He who holds a sacred debt"

  38. @unknown, thank you so much for that comment. i was just thinking d same thing here. iv met alot of ppl here in the U.S that make the same comment "im American but my parents are nigerian" honestly that generally doesnt make any sense to me. but anyways, wat u sed is right. let us stop claiming people that dont claim us. so correction Linda he is an English actor.

  39. YOU GUYS ARE ALL HYPOCRITES. When it is Abdulmutallab you will say 'No! he grew up in london! he is not Nigerian!' When it is Michael Adebayor that hacks a british soldier to death you will 'No na! he is only Nigerian by name! He is british, he grew up there!' But when it's an oscar nominated actor...you all start claiming him. He is not Nigerian. Period
