Nigeria, a nation with over 300 languages, with 1000 diverse rich cultures, over 250 dancing troupes, over 100 ethnic group, over 100 rich festival, rich in tourism potentials etc. There is no country like Nigeria.
It couldn't be the worst thing that happened to Nigeria ....America has similar and is the best country on earth today. Nigeria should learn to take advantage of her multiple n diverse ethnicity
Bia Linda ooo! Where's ur no 1 LIB disciple Bonario Nnags????? He has been M.I.A for a while now(since the giveaway post) Warapun na? Miss his posts joor...
Nope! People like you are the reasons for Nigeria's problems today Co's you all are f'n lazy. You want everything to be done for you right? Can't you guys also Build this nation to greater heights for yourselves & your children to come so that they wouldn't also blame their lazy parents the way you're blaming innocent Lugard now?
This was the beginning of our problem in Nigeria.because on this day the worst mistake on earth was made by merging people who do have any thing in common in order to be a country were forcefully forced without their consent to be one country because of selfish interest of Britain to exploit Nigeria.
Thank you for capturing the true picture. Ours was indeed the wedlock of the gods. This is truely the genesis of everything that went wrong in Nigeria. The British still remain the worst terrorist ever known in the world. The changed the destiny of many nations through colonialism and slavery.
I wish it had never happened!! See all the wahala boko haram is causing the whole country....Lugard should have left us separated. This is not a memorable day at all.
Interesting. All the people in this picture are dead. Even the child born that day is now 100yrs old if alive. Food for thought for when next you're taking that selfie...what will people say about you 100 years later? Good or bad?
LINDA thanks for the pic.how i wish the amagamation did not come to past i 4 dey enjoy my oil well with my broda s and sista for naja delta, not with dis so called corrupt leaders for our land.GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
truly historic and quite laughable if Nigeria eventually divides. i hope we won't and i hope we grow stronger and prosper while conquering our problems :)
-our Nigeria needs serious deliverance if the time of there lord lugard is more colourful lik these#hahahha#lol.na joke oo....nice pix nowadays nigeria is far better than the former nigeria- peace
The greatest mistake ever made...we are not one and can never be...You don't force 3 different people to have false marriage called Nigeria..The earlier we break up the better for us..
Lol...I can understand with you brother Co's you're not even Nigerian. If you were Nigerian, you would know there aren't only 3 tribes in Nigeria. We're talking of over 250 great & unique peoples & you're talking about 3. Get out of that shoe you live in please my guy.lol
we are still under slavery and colonialism because we have not sit down to discuss our existence since we were forced together as one country.Even when a region raise the issue call confab, another region will say it is a treasonable offence.Another group will say unity is non-negotiable.Another group will say any attempt to discuss it they will resist it with war.Whereas, these same group preaching unity are the once causing problem up and down unity is a fraud.
Thank God. Though d picture dipicts a local nigeria, but under d regime of God-sent leader, president Jonathan, the country is better off now. Our president, may rule Nigeria for more 4yrs. Amen.

Its a shame that after over 100 years of force marriage Nigeria is still finding it difficult to co-exist talkless of unite. Who mislead us? Certainly not Lugard
He should just have left us jeje the way he found us now the rot caused by this amalgamation is so deep that we may just have to surgically cut it off.....
My Government teacher did tell me the colonial master embarked on this amalgamation simply to achieve administrative convenience. Now how true that claim is I do not know. But growing up in Nigeria, I can clearly state that the amalgamation has served more to reinforce those things that divide us and less of those that are our common denominators as a nation. If only they had included a formula for power sharing amongst the amalgamated units perhaps we would have had less problems to deal with.
Very memorable. It shows Nigeria has come a long way but at d same tym we have nothing tangible2 show 4 it. Poor Nigeria.
