    1. Tell them o! I've been using the soap and gold serum with argan oil and my skin is getting smoother by the day. I don't have to worry about d rashes I get on my face from sun exposure. I went home and my dad told me to continue whatever I'm using. Nobody has asked me if I'm bleaching or told me I'm getting lighter. They just tell me I'm fresh. Meanwhile,I've used native black soap and shea butter before and I was getting white despite being a brown girl. Had to stop it before I begin to look like pela's customers.

  24. Whoooaaaa! Is this 2014?! Why is this stuff still on the market? It's not just the product that is disturbing in itself - it's the message that it sells, which is that "Light skin is the standard of beauty". What a load of crap! Total garbage!! When will we ever learn to set our own standards for beauty, instead of letting a marketing company do it for us? Yes, light skin is beautiful, but dark skin and every other tone in between is equally beautiful!!!

  25. To treat and lighten your skin or not is your business. But if you do it, do it safely. And once you remove the natural protection that melanin provides, don’t forget to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen – every day of the year.

    1. You don't just use a product under a month and expect to see a visible result. Besides, it don't bleach if that was the kinda result you were expecting. I love the wonderful sensation I get from this product and it's fragrance is just too cool

  27. Cream doesn't work nether serum
