During a stakeholders meeting on this issue held at Alausa Secretariat yesterday, Mr Ajibola Adeyeye who is the Chairman Ad hoc committee set up by the Assembly to investigate the incident announced the reward token.
"Anybody that gives information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrators of the heinous act shall be given N1 million. And I will add the sum of 250,000 from my private account to increase the sum to N1.25million" He said.No leads have been made since the video surfaced on the internet a few months back. Lawmakers have commenced hearing on the case.

For such inhumane act going unpunished, the perpetrators are likely to commit the same atrocity thinking iits ok. I did it the first time, didn't get stopped. The story happened very early in 2013, went cold with no criminals apprehended. The best and most effective way to apprehend criminals is to get the support of the citizens including compensation. This way, story doesn't go cold again.
