Black Christmas as over 200 bankers lose Job..

Over 200 staff of Enterprise Bank and Keystone Bank have lost their jobs due to the rationalization exercise that was recently carried out by both banks. On the 2nd of December Enterprise bank rolled out a list comprising of a 150 staff members that were affected by the rationalization excersie which according to the bank's management was done in order to achieve effective service. Worst hit by the retrenchment exercise are the Lagos Island branches of the bank. Spokesman for the bank, Olusola Longe-Okenimkpe says the rationalization exercise was carried out to identify resource optimization.

Keystone bank in November also carried out their own rationalization excercise which saw 52 Senior staff members losing their jobs.

  47. I won't lie to you, nigeria is a very strange and sad place to be.

When during this period, companies overseas are trying to hire more staff to fit holiday demands, nigeria always engages in massive firings.

Also during this period is when everyone reduces all commodity prices to maximize profit, but in Naija prices begin to climb.

Doesn't this prove that Nigeria is acursed

  48. Yes, this is true. I learnt those affected were/will be the old staff of the bank. I don't really know their criteria for selecting these 'old' staff.

    The bank is rebranding.

Currently, there's massive recruitment for both new and experienced hire. Anyone who knows someone within the bank, should submit CV.

The man sanusi mismanaged the whole banking institutions in Nigerian and created all the problems. He pumped in 600bilion and told us the bank would be stabilized, and after that what happened?? Things like this happen when you hire mediocres to manage the affairs of great institutions like cbn. Sanusi thought seizing pple's bank and changing their names would solve the problem. How come the banks never had problems in soludo's time until sanusi took over?? Nigerians aren't seen anything yet. Mr. Master degree holder in sharia what is ur excuse this time???
