Really feel sorry for Brymo. So anyway, two things I will do here because I'm not on any party's side. 1, is to tell you that his new album, M, D & S is out. It came out today and I hear it's a good album, so go out there and buy it. 2. Show you guys the exclusive leaked photos of a court injunction against Brymo, making the release of his new album today illegal. See them after the cut...
Audu let brymo b o
ReplyDeleteStop the fight!
ReplyDeleteLast to comment. Lol!
Help them stop it
DeleteThe judiciary sh1t as usual. How can you stop someone from using his brain, talent and gifts with a court injunction?
DeleteI really feel 4 brymo, jess dey r really taking him 4 granted
ReplyDeleteBrymo fear nt God is wit u
ReplyDelete2face has been tru all dis buh nw he is a legend dnt worry pipo dat fight u nw ll com n celebrate u,wen ur time coms

ReplyDeleteHow sad!
ReplyDeletena soooooooooo
ReplyDeleteIs the injunction valid outside Nigeria? Can he work or sell his music abroad?
ReplyDeleteI really feel sorry for Brymo but the truth is he signed a contract and its binding under the law. You can't just opt out of a contract whenever you feel like or because you feel cheated. Nobody forced you to sign it in the first place.
ReplyDeleteGbam.God bless u my brother.people should stop being sentimental about this issue.he signed a contract,he should stand by it.thats why banky was laughing at wizkid wen he started his Roborebe too.they have a contract to make two albums for EME that's why he came back to do Omo Jaiye Jaiye.im suggesting that brymo does the same.if uv signed a contract, don't breach it.
DeleteBest album eva MD&S
ReplyDeleteHmm! Lindz is alive!
ReplyDelete~D great anonymous!
Na wa o. The had better sort themselves out and stop falling out all dirty
ReplyDeletengwanu! Its on Linda so that means that Choc City has served everyone with sufficient notice of the injunction. Wale warn yourself o! Don't try to ignore that injunction o! Before you get served with a bench warrant and find your self behind bars for contempt of court. You are better off praying and negotiating out of court with Audu. Nigerian court cases can last up to 15 years. Of course by that time your current contract would have lapsed but you would have lost 3 years and a good deal of money to your lawyers in legal fees. Lesson learned my dear but don't worry... this will be fantastic inspiration for your post Choc-City album.
ReplyDeleteWow...This is really serious! I feel really bad for Brymo. He definitely needs to get a good lawyer (if he hasn't already) to fight this.
ReplyDeleteLessons learned here is to be careful when you appending your John Hancock to any document. It's not just an artists that get in trouble like this, it also happens to the regular consumer. How many times have signed those official papers without reading through the fine prints? I do it a lot.
I am starting to learn to take time to read through those agreements and ask questions before signing anything.
Linda, I duff my hat for you for getting a copy of the official court injunction. Kudos!
Linda luv u baby u too much...... hw on earth did u get this, I guess u gud at wat u do
ReplyDeleteMake dem free d guy jare
ReplyDeleteOgbeni calm down,u gradually loosing what u have left.
ReplyDelete~BONARIO~says so via NOKIA3310
Na wa oooo
ReplyDeleteDo the right thing folks, the court should settle all this, or maybe a close door agreement.
ReplyDeleteNo sentiments.
ReplyDeleteNigerian artistes should really educate themselves on what it means to sign a contract. That shit is binding and can be held against u any day.
When you hear celebs collecting millions from corporate organisations and their record labels, do you assume that the people giving them this plenty money are MAD? Hell no. They have contracts which state what & what they expect from an artiste.
It's not slavery. U have a choice on whether to sign it or not. But u cannot sign it out of hunger and then later when u don get small change & dem don promote u small, u sef go com dey make yanga and trying to change the terms of the contract.
Fuck that. U have to ride it out till the end.
No sentiments, Mr Audu, I luv Jesse Jagz and Brymo better than MI & ice Prince but the law is the law.
Carry go.
If anybody dey vex, then let them offer to BUY OUT Brymo's contract naa ni.
Audu! Is that you?
DeleteThis guys should settle their differences like matured men.
ReplyDeletePastor rapes 3 primary school children
Brymo is just digging himself into a hole. Why make noise about a contract you signed. It is no ones fault that you didnt take the time to look at all the fine print before signing it.
ReplyDeleteInstead of ranting, he should make nice so that they will atleast let him buy out his contract or resolve it some other way. This was the same gragra that Jeremiah Gyang did with Chocolate City, where is he today?
No one is saying he should not be dissatisfied. Other artistes have been with their record label and walked away. There are ways to dissolve a contract without airing your dirty laundry in public
This people should just settle this matter as soon as possible! See as they wan snuff out person career!
ReplyDeleteNigerians are hypocrites. They will talk about the government being corrupt and lawless yet they will open their dirty mouth to support Brymo who is exhibiting illiteracy and lawlessness. After having someone spend money on his wretched ass, he is trying to bring sentiment into it. If you are here and you feel you you should support brymo, Then you can as well not talk about Nigerian Govt. Linda is claiming not to take sides, yet she is marketing a his stolen work. If you like, don't post this
ReplyDeleteI can understand...goto--->http://bit.ly/17izzwv to ammy krane's dance competition
ReplyDelete1st to comment......dey want to destroy dis guy career
ReplyDeleteBrymo shold just go bak and reconcile with his earthly-maker, Audu!!

ReplyDeleteso sorry for him ..bt I think her should respect d court order so as not to blame him self later on
ReplyDeletehonestly dis really should serve a warning to thos who think dey can just liv dier record label anyhow bcus u think u v arrive or what , do u know what d record label went tru b4 u ar we're u ar?
Brymo I love u but my tot is dis pls make peace with chocolate city
U luk funny.......hehehehe
DeleteIts a pity,Labels and Artists,war without end!
ReplyDeleteIn return we could all boycott any shows, songs, albums, concerts affiliated with the plaintiff/ choc city until they let Brymo go. No attention to M.I or Iceprince till Brymo is freed of his contract.
ReplyDeleteTo me dis is just unfair, 'man's injustice to man'. While Brymo was chunning out hits, making Choc City more popular day by day, we didn't see any court injunction. But when d guy is rife enough for solo-super stardom, then stories emerged. My piece of advise is for him to play along till d Choc deal expires!
ReplyDeleteIf you sign a binding contract at work for 3yrs, can u just leave after 1 year because you dont like the way they treat you? But u loved the way they wr treating you when you signed. Businesses is business. No sentiments. We put to much emotions in it... I feel for him tho but was the niggi sleeping when he signed the contract!
DeletePls allow dis guy to show his ara! Aboki kai mona
ReplyDeleteIt ÈŠ̝̊̅§ well
ReplyDeletein future if dem get problem as in health problem which i dont pray to happen to anyone . That's when people ll start to dey mention names of popular artist wey don work with dem. may god help us.

ReplyDeletepls linda it is stil obvious u stil at choc.city side...bt audu n cohorts shud knw dis is naija not uk,so dey shud free d dude n concentrate on d company's career
ReplyDeleteThis will serve as a lesson to others to look before they leap,am sure he signed the contract without thinking twice. don't be a maga ,think before you sign any contract and let your legal counsel be there- i bet now, he is the slave.
ReplyDeleteTIRED OF UGLY FAT? CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT HOW TO BURN OUT STUBBORN FAT
smh! u sef y did u sign a contract because d only way they can get an injuction is if u signed a contract with them!
ReplyDeleteHe can get a marketer or a rival record label to buy out his contract from Chocolate City. That would mean further enlavement. Or he has to stick to the contract and be there till 2016.
ReplyDeleteDoes Brymo not watch football to see how players' contracts are done? A club signs a player for a guaranteed salary (or a pay as you play salary if the player is too injury prone) for a number of years. If another club wants to sign the player, they have to compensate the player's club by buying out the contract, with the extra money going to the player as sign-on bonus and some going to lawyers and agents. If the player ends up staying to the end of the contract without renewing it at his present club, he becomes a free agent and any club that wants to buy him will pay the player all the money.

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of brymo, but if you sign an agreement ,u need to respect it,afterall u were not under duress to sign.
ReplyDelete*Lip sealed*
ReplyDelete*Lip sealed*
ReplyDeleteBrymO on his part should know that a contract is signed and pay heed to whatever it said. Choc City as a Label should not treat this as a do or die affair. Both parties could settle this out of court if only EGO is put aside.
ReplyDeleteHaba! Choc city should free dis guy na!
ReplyDeleteIf u have taken him to court then allow d law to handle d rest, why calling people and threathening dem?
Na wa o.
Awudoo Get life andl eave the dude, your big what is next
ReplyDeleteI can't read this, I hate court tyns. Its so boring.

ReplyDeleteThat's an interim injunction. Valid for only 7days
ReplyDeleteBrymo should chill and stop acting like a big baby he signed a contract you can't walk away except they let you walk away or you buy out your contract. Shissh he's supposed to beg Dem to let him go not act like they are maltreating him.
ReplyDeleteBrymo shud be civilized enough to know wat a contract is! Am really dissapointed in him!!
DeleteIt is simple brymo prove u are free from any contract if not u are just crying foul over nothing cos it shows u got no case..if u signed till 2016 just follow thru than playing the victim..wizkid still working with EME till is contract is over...just find a way and all dis will be over..still prefer ur last album.
ReplyDeleteReally feel for him too!
ReplyDeleteThey shld let him be na!!!
Brymo should shut the fuck up and eat the humble pie..... omo karpenta jati jati
ReplyDeleteLOL CHOC CITY IF HE IS STILL CONTRACTED TO YOU GUYS THE BEST YOU CAN DO IS CALL AND AMEND THE CONTRACT TO FAVOUR EVERYBODY... BECAUSE HE HAS A CONTRACT THAT WILL EXPIRE 2016 DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T ADJUST IT ESPECIALLY IF THE RETURN IS HUGE, MORE THAN EXPECTED YOU AMEND THE SHIT MAKE THE ARTIST HAPPY AND KEEP HIM.
ReplyDeleteThis is by far the smartest comment on this blog today!!! God bless you.
DeleteI swear I no go miss d last whistle..... Hu go win?
ReplyDeleteHumans can fustrate dem follow humans wit every single opportunity dey have. Lord I seperate my self frm d wickedness of men!
ReplyDeleteMr brymo this is nt somethin that wil warrant u to engage in name callin and cryin lik a bby , it goes lik this if u r nt hapi wit ur contract with choc city quietly arrange a meeting with d lawyers of choc city and negotiate a decent exit frm ur contractual obligations wit choc city hence u will be free do wat eva u want to do but u can not be under a legally binding contract wit some one and u wil break it and expect that other party to keep quiet ,it doesn't work that way .pls I recommend u get urself a gud lawyer to further advice u on wat next to do if nt these antics of urs wil nt take u anywhere 4 ur own gud brymo get a lawyer to help u out of this debacle

Linda u b real aproko grade 1 hw u take even get dis paper sef anyway na. ur talent .notin do u
ReplyDeleteIt takes patience for ones dreams to persevere...Brymo shld hav some little patience nd sort dis thing out wit choc city privately...cmon washing their dirty linen so openly (twitter, court)..ouch..xo immature
ReplyDeleteOh meehn this is crazy!
ReplyDeleteHmmm..so what happens now the album is released? Who's the bad guy here?
ReplyDeleteAnd where is Brymo's answer? It's a two way street...u can pass a verdict without litigation
ReplyDeleteThis is quite unfortunate for dude. Reminds me of the TLC story. People, to become a star isn't a day's job...I think. Check the papers you sign when making a deal!!! They gave him a long azz contract, but because he was a novice and desperate to "blow", he got with them.
ReplyDeleteOk I just read it again, on what grounds?
ReplyDeleteGet yourself a good lawyer Mr good morning
They should be able to settle this without making it a public drama..oh well, life goes on..
ReplyDeleteNa wao... D guy no wan mk he leav choc city? Ds kain thng sef. Toh toh... What was thr cntract agreement? Brymo shd seek legal redress and stop shoutin injustice. Perhaps he stl has a runnin cntract wv choc city whch hasn't be terminated, hence ds.
ReplyDeleteWhy do artists sign contracts without involving lawyers? This is so sad.... Brymo is a really good artist whose talent should be showcased. Well, if he did sign it, he should bid this time till 2016. He is still a young man.
ReplyDeleteBefore he knows it, 2016 will be here. He has his whole life ahead of him and IMO his style of music is timeless. If he keeps on churning out the sort of music he's been doing, he'll be around for a long time. I'll buy his CD any day. He is good!
If you've signed a contract, bro u gotta adhere to the terms of that contract. The injustice here is you thinking you can walk outta a contract you signed. Grow upppp!!!
ReplyDeleteBraymo stop this nonsense
ReplyDeleteNa wao..!make dem pity dis guy na..!we dunno d real story, cos I bliv they only told us as much as they were willing to reveal. They had beta settled this shit b4 it goes overboard##doctorbobby
ReplyDeleteLinda I'm a lawyer and one thing I'm sure of is dis- civil suit carries suit number while criminal cases carries charge number. This injunction in my opinion appears fake. Criminal case are brought by comm of police or Attorney general. Byrmo should verify the authenticity of this injunction.
ReplyDeletei think brymo should still b in choc city...deres absolutely no point leavin
ReplyDeleteThese artistes should be much more careful about what they get themselves into. If truly Brymo has a contract that ties him to choc city till 2016 then there is really nothing much he can do but honour it or beg out of it.
ReplyDeleteMost labels want to milk artistes dry before letting them go,only a few get out of their tight clutches without story.

without prejudice to how much empathy i have for the poor boy, what he just did on twitter is nothing but contempt, which is a criminal offense bcos this is a valid court order. justice buba for that matter, may God help him o
ReplyDeleteI love byrmo pls he should go n settle with dem
ReplyDeleteAudu Maikori is a bloody bastard.... I'm pretty sure he manipulated the dude to sign that contract while hiding some loopholes. Fine Brymo wasn't smart. But it is purely exploitative and EVIL for a person to make a struggling dude sign a contract that long. WTF!!! 2008-2016!!! Who does that??? The guy don try na... 08 to 13 is 5 years already. The guy don help una sales... *if not for his unique voice on Oleku, Ice prince was an empty vessel* Brymo never buy house like the rest of him colleagues. Abi him tell dem say him head dey forbid enjoyment?? Nonsense.... You fuckers better renegotiate wiv him. He surely will be smarter dis time.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I believe Brymo is in breach thereof. But what is the nature of the contract. I believe Brymo can impeach if it works great injustice against him.
DeleteGbege D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ ground for brymo make choc city free the guy nah..How he wan take push d album with dis kind court case he should think carefully oooo
ReplyDeleteY dz linda nor de like post ma comment
ReplyDeleteMtchewww...lik court injunction mean anytin in naija...brymo sing ur song jare
ReplyDeleteYou just took Sides linda! Brymo's side! When u sign. A contract see it through its course! Always read the small letters with a magnifying glass too! Brymo injustice or not; if you fell cheated get a lawyer to examine the contract you signed! Do not be led astray! Who get one eye dey like who nor get at all! You are an only child, you got god only... Never join those with big weight brothers... In the end you are standing alone #OYO
ReplyDeleteHa!!
ReplyDeleteMak dem let d boi b,Dey shuld b matured abt finz jo
ReplyDeleteTo hell with an injuction,Brymo should go nd beg PDP nd promise to help GEJ campaign nd be a good boy to him.infact both the judge nd Audu wl be punished.Brymo fight for yes.what is agreement in naija.Lagos state broke agreement with DRs,nothing happen even Almight FG is breaking ASUU agreement now.Agreement only exists in europe.
ReplyDeleteThey shud free this boy pls!
ReplyDeletePls let this guy be you black ass enemy of progress... gosh! I dont mind buying his CD for a thousand pounds.
ReplyDeleteNa wa ooh! feel so sorry for Brymo.
ReplyDeleteI pray things don't get worse for the best soul singer Nigeria had ever have.
ReplyDeleteNo one really has the complete picture of what transpired between BRYMO and his record label CHOCOLATE CITY as regards the contract they signed! So it might be difficult to evaluate who breached the same contract or who didn’t. But from all the brouhaha going on social media concerning this case, it’s obvious someone didn’t do his contractual homework well. Even if BRYMO felt CHOCOLATE CITY was not fulfilling their part of the bargain, he could have hired the services of an independent lawyer to fight his case in court and get a court backing to pull out of the contract. He instead just walked out on the contract hoping he would be let off like that. You don’t knowingly sign a contract binding till 2016 and think you could successfully walk out on that without eyebrows being raised. BRYMO is schooled and I am shocked and disappointed that he decided to take this route. No matter how genuine his reasons for stepping out of the contract are, he should have solicited and gotten a legal backing for it. His failure to do so, is responsible for the problems he is today facing with the label. Sentiments must be thrown out the window in this case. It’s either BRYMO tries and convince his new record label or management company to buy him out of the old contract with CHOC CITY or he stays back to fulfill the terms therein for it’s duration. As someone said on one of the entertainment blogs, BRYMO should have learnt from the KELLY HANSOME/KENNIS MUSIC episode. I just hope other Nigerian artistes can learn from what’s going on now! Nuff said!
ReplyDeleteNawa o, brymo nd and hin ex boss who cum rite nw
ReplyDeleteTWO OPTIONS FOR BRYMO:
ReplyDelete1. SETTLE THE DISPUTE WITH CHOCOLATE CITY CAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WIELDING THE BIG STICK IT STRICTLY BUSINESS AND NOTHING PERSONAL.
OR
START YOUR CAREER AFRESH WITH A BRAND NEW NAME (ONLY ONE OFFICIAL ALBUM NOTHIN MUCH TO LOSE) BUT THE DOWNSIDE TO THIS IS THAT YOU JUST WONT BE ABLE TO PERFORM ANY OF YOUR HIT SONGS (ALREADY RELEASED MATERIAL) AT ANY SHOW. ALSO ROYALTY DUE FROM SUCH WONT BE GETTING TO YOU. CAUSE ITS CC PROPERTY. HAAARD WAY BUT THE ONLY WAY.
MY ADVISE; SETTLE YOUR DISPUTE WITH CC AND RENEGOTIATE YOUR TERMS. THINGS LIKE THIS CAN MESS UP CAREERS. ASK PRINCE, JOE,THE LOX, EVEN SNOOP DOGG WAS LUCKY AT DEATH-ROW RECORDS. OR ELSE THEY WILL SUE YOU AND LAY CLAIM TO PROCEEDS FROM YOUR NEW MATERIAL (M, D&S). ITS A WIN-WIN FOR THEM. EAT THE HUMBLE-PIE AND SQUASH THE BEEF!.
LESSON: WHEN SIGNING ANY CONTRACT GET YOUR OWN LAWYER ALSO TO HELP YOU STUDY THE TERMS AND ADVISE YOU DULY. DONT EVER BE IN A RUSH TO PUT PEN TO PAPER UNTIL YOU ARE 100% SATISFIED WITH THE TERMS. AND ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CONTRACT OPEN WITH AN 'ESCAPE' CLAUSE.
Only in naija people can just dump a contract forgetting that it is an act of a criminal to not honor a contract. Brymo can never try that in a developed country. I am 100% sure that most young Nigerians will want to support Brymo because they will also do the same thing he did (use a label to gain buzz and dump the label out of greed)and you wonder why Nigeria will never change for the better when everyone is too smart for their own good. He must either honor his contract or buy out his contract no short cut in life.. Rubbish
ReplyDeleteWat took u tym 2dy anty linda.brymo speaks d truth
ReplyDeleteChoc ..pls free this guy nand let him be
ReplyDeleteChoc ..pls free this guy nand let him be
ReplyDeleteNA WA OH!
ReplyDeletechoc.... pls free this guy na
ReplyDeleterubbish....brymo needs attention...thats just it
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love Brymo,a contract is a contract. When signing a contract, you have to be smart enough to really be sure if you're going to benefit from the contract. Once you sign it, it becomes a deal & both parties are bound by the terms & conditions of that contract. You can't pull out in the middle of it or you would have to pay your ass out. Brymo in this case has to live up to his side of the contract whether he likes it or not now. I wish him the best anyways.
ReplyDeleteLINDA GOD BLESS YOU. For standing up for brymo, i am hooked on u for life. keep it up my sister. keep it up.
ReplyDeleteMI pls tell MAIKORI that BINTIN LAYE.
I know it does seem a bit unfair but he signed a contract and a deal is a deal, if he was uncomfortable or didn't understand it then he shouldn't have signed, period.
ReplyDeleteSo Audu Maikori is choc city boss? Saw him for the 1st time on Nigerian idol season 1 as a judge . O boy the guy was quite harsh o!
ReplyDeleteI dnt see any injustice here cos they reach an agreement b4 he signed nw he doesnt want 2 complete it.if he knws he is very talented&can do it all by himself then y didnt he start by himself@1st...let d truth b said.
ReplyDeleteAm not taking sides! But to release an album even with a court injunction which makes it illegal goes to show the level of decay in our soiciety. Wander why we only refer to politicians. To restore sanity, it begins from U and I.
ReplyDeleteHehehe no be so Jerry Gyang do them end him career. I jst pray same tin doesn't happen to Brymo. If truly Brymo still has an enxisting contract then he should know better than work out concidering d fact Audu Maikori is a lawyer.
ReplyDeleteHe b lke say he no wan beta 4 diz Audu maikori abi....Buh seriouly som pple are heartlez ow can stop a human of ya kind from using is talent...Mehn na waoo...Buh wat u get wen u find urself in d midst of Aboki"s.
ReplyDeleteMake dem free dis guy Na abi wetin....

ReplyDeleteLindiwe,ur sources r impeccable. Brymo kudos,God dey.....com' post my comment o!

With the Love I have for Brymo, if I curse Chocolate City, I swear, it will catch them, am sooo mad now...
ReplyDeleteThey shld let brymo be na haba!!!dis is really unfair,is it by force 2 wrk 4 dem?
ReplyDeleteMy Brymo :(
ReplyDeleteCalling an album illegal na mumurity cuz i neva eva 4 ma life hear dat kyn tin b4
ReplyDeleteeyah dey should take it easy on him he would need money to pay lawyer ooo.
ReplyDeleteSo let him sell
Never Mind Brymo cos in Life People only try to bring greater people down
ReplyDeleteBrymo should stop being stupid and get a lawyer fast. I don't know why these celebs think twitter is the best avenue to fight one another. Does he realise he can be sued for defamation of character with such outlandish outbursts? If he signed a contract for a certain period, then he is bound by the terms of that contract.whatever caused the rift with choc city should have been handled more professionally. If he feels the label did not keep to their word, that is if he went through the contract at all, he should have had a lawyer draft a breach and not think he can just walk away. 2face suffered for years until he was ready to leave kennis music, lookmat him today. no one can stop your destiny but devils can delay it. Enlightenment is a major problem in thus country.
ReplyDeleteMe o, I will definitely buy that CD. I will even buy more than one if I am sure it puts money in Brymo's pocket.
ReplyDeleteThe wicked will never go unpunished..Audu God is watching you brymo ur case will be like the one of the tail-less cow
ReplyDeleteNot interested bt anyway iz a way let us give respect nd honour to those dat brought us to d lime light of d world...

Not interested bt anyway iz a way let us give respect nd honour to those dat brought us to d lime light of d world...
ReplyDelete(Just my mind)
can there ever be a gratefull yoruba person??someone picked u up 4rm the gutter and gave u life...all u could is to betray him??this race kraaah!chaarly of choco city beware of ungrateful bastards.
ReplyDeleteYour soul is dog shit! If your stupid comment is anything to go by, then this is just 1 yoruba dude to the millions of igbotic pigs who live in yoruba lands and still insult the people. Na in make God dey wash una land with erosion so. It's funny how you monkeys have no access to sea yet erosion dey una side pass japan.
DeleteListen good Mr Audu, am not interested in what transpired btwn you both, Audu abi wetin be your name, are you waiting to receive the glory of the good you do to a fellow man from him, why are you bent on distroying your hand work? U make him now u want to distroy him, you forgot he's already a celebrity and a star people knows more than you that made him. Let sleeping Dog lie, leave brymo alone.. As for the Album....chill let me do the counting of my families mom, dad, chichi, fredrick,Ayo,demola, seun, bro Tayo, pelumi, aunty deborah, bro Solo ....etc am buying about 15 copies.....hehehehehe.
ReplyDeletethat is why i pray they settle their difference and someone pls talk to both parties i beg u all cos i dont kno what happen and dont wanna kno all i want is they both com to an agreement pls
ReplyDeleteI hate Audu maikori I have since hia days of unijos he is a trained lawyer a very good biz man. So Brymo do the right thing or join us hating him for ending ur career too. The guy no de joke with biz. He works hard
ReplyDeleteI hate him but admire his hard works
maikori, leave that boy alone.chei na by force to stick for chocolate label?free am o.aba!
ReplyDeleteNigerians...always get a lawyer to look over a contract before signing it...if u think u would rather not spend money doing this, trust me...u will spend 10 times the cost trying to undo that contract...
ReplyDeleteDon't understand why people are taking sides here, Brymo should have looked for an amicable settlement not to try force his way out of this contract, Choc city spend money to make Brymo a brand that he is today, pre his contract with Choc city how many of you know him ? do no let people stop doing good because of this attitude, they took a risk and invested in him and when the time came for him to pay back he wants to jump from it, its not a good thing at all.
ReplyDeletePls Fellas Contract is contract, let Brymo respect the rules of his contract...he is making fool of him self by takin this thing to Twitter...is either he pay off his contract deal or he is still party of d label...I guess the no close his eye b4 signin d deal...wen he was moving from one place to other wt a demo..him knw no..pls bro respect the deal or u pay him...much love from Swiss
ReplyDeleteWhere is Mich oh! I miss reading his comments:)
ReplyDeleteThis is really nt cool bt I pray brymo gets out of dis shit, if nt 4 brymo who Will regonise choc boiz. Brymo made oleku sell brought out dt big headed fool iceprince. Audu becareful oo cos nw no upcomin artist will near ur record label cos dey dnt want to go tru dis shit u doin to brymo.
ReplyDeleteBrymo is time for u to act like a business person take advantage of dis present controvesy,go back to chocolate and u will be more appreciated for who u are. You have a valid contract with them and the only way to opt out in the first place is through law. You erred on ur part. I love ur songs and don't let no bad advicer or pride stops from coming to terms with them
ReplyDeleteBrymo, Brymo wen u dey sign u no make noise like this o, u signed out of hunger but u should have told dem u will drop 2 albums under them but u go sign till 2016 are u a learner nawao
ReplyDeleteChocolate City, label of doom
ReplyDeleteA close door agreement can settle this; law or no law. Choc city boss is jez being wicked. Footballers keave dier club 4 anoda even wen dier contract is still on na.(money tinz 4 dat 1 sha ). Brymo csn actually leave if d choc city guy did nt av anyfn against im
ReplyDeleteD fact still remains dat partial dey dat choc city...Dose they dey even d partial 4, don dey go down
ReplyDeleteSpeak English pls
DeleteShey dis punk has a contract???...let him honor it or agree 2a settlement nd let us be
ReplyDeleteWhy do these urchins turn supers NEVER learn? These stories happen all the time. Yet, young Nigerian artistes still wonder why people dont want to invest in their career.
ReplyDeleteBrymo was a gutter boy who was blessed to find some people to save him from his sorry life as a carpenter and now he is talking thrash about being a start not being treated right. He didnt complain when they were spending money on him and feeding him and promoting his music. What a shame
However my only consolatory words for Chocolate City is that they should be patient and wait to see the idiot Brymo burn himself out. Historically, most of those who make this kind of dumb move NEVER last as artistes. I say give him 2 years and he will be back to his sorry life as a loser and start begging.
when he signed the contract he closed his eyes abi...now he his looking for sympathy.
ReplyDeletethis is why you should have a lawyer check out your contract. instead of wasting time looking for sympathy, he should find a way to settle the issue with them.
a contract is and will always be a contract
Choc City is exposing themselves, i wonder who will sign with them in the future if this is what you do to ur artists!!!
ReplyDeletethen again, it's business so ..
God know i have had my last support for anything chocoLATE city, not even ant of there artist, causalisation of ur artist. perfect enslavement.either review his contract or let him make money from his album to pay your f..king ass off his slave contract.
ReplyDeleteOrdinary car lease, you can't breach contract like that without losing out let alone a music career, pls, let go the sentiments and serve your term. You probably had your shot at fame through choc city and the money was so good you didn't even look into the future. Dude, choc city doesn't run a shelter for the helpless on temp terms, it's business so stop manipulating everyone into hating the Audu guy. Btw, I'm not related to them, I'm just disgusted because of ignorance exhibited by most.
ReplyDeleteThis is so complicated, this dude is bind to this slave contract...i think they should settle out of court... brymo should make peace with his Redefined Slave Master (Audu or whatever) and besides nobody want it with chocolate city anymore!
