Olayebi, who danced in delight at being picked as a N5 million winner in the promo, told the audience that she was trying to contact a doctor because of her daughter who was indisposed in the UK when the call from Glo came through. “I did not believe initially, but later I was dumbfounded. This N5 million is definitely an unmerited, underserved and uncommon favour from God. I want to thank Glo and its management for this wonderful gift”, she said.

The other winners also expressed their appreciation and gratitude to Glo for using the occasion of its 10th anniversary to reward the loyalty of its subscribers. Sharing his experience with the audience, Agboola Abolade who is a stockbroker said he was called about 5 to 6 times before deciding to respond. “But here I am today with my N1 million prize. It is great to have an enterprise like Glo that is working to change the lives of its subscribers. Everyone should patronise this company that has made Nigerians proud”, he said.

Another winner, Ayodeji Olatunjoye, an engineer also expressed his gratitude to the Board and management of Glo for rewarding him with N1 million in the promo. ”I urge all subscribers to keep recharging as they too can win. Speaking at the occasion, the Head of Gloworld, Mrs. Brenda Akhigbe said the presentation was in continuation of the consistent effort by Glo to redeem its promise to its valued subscribers across the country. She pointed out that Glo had recently presented prizes to its subscribers in Abuja, Ibadan, Onitsha, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, Kaduna and several times in Lagos. “A week ago at the popular Oluwole market in Lagos Island and at Oyingbo market, we presented prizes to many winners including Danladi Adams, an ice-block seller in Ajegunle who won N5 million. We also gave out N1 million each to Thomas Nanjul, Akinleye Adesina, Moyosola Yusuf, Adeyemi Abon, Okiki Olajide and many other categories of winners“, she said.

  21. I like dis man Adenuga. He exudes confidence and bravery and I think he is a nationalist. If it had not been for him, Nigerians would have suffered in the hands of other networks operators. God bless him and more grease to his network.
