Al-Shabaab has been proven to be the only terrorist sect in Africa that is DIRECTLY linked to Al-Qaeda and Boko Haram is closely affiliated to Al-Shabaab.
ReplyDeleteAl-Shabaab is responsible for the many pirate attacks on seas which is the major way through which they generate funds.
Boko Haram on the other hand,don't carry out pirate attacks on seas,they don't peddle drugs to raise funds as is the case with the Taliban who own nearly all the opium farms in Afghanistan.
The question therefore is,how does Boko Haram gets its funding? Some wealthy Nigerian(s) is definitely giving financial support to them.
If the FG is serious about curbing the menace of Boko Haram,it can start by tracing and arresting all those who have given financial support to the sect.
Its not that hard to do,is it?

But then again,nobody likes to step on a friend's toe hence,Boko Haram remains.
