Singer Kcee goes into oil business

The Limpopo crooner pictured aboard a friend's oil vessel here in Lagos yesterday. Heard he's going into the oil business with his multimillion brother, Emmy Okonkwo. They have already ordered oil lifting equipments which they plan to rent to companies...and I hear he plans to one day own an oil vessel. Igbo man and business. Lol. Smart man.

  24. Gud 4 him, I hope say him state dey produce oil?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Lol...what's "Oil lifing equipment"? What's "Oil vessel"? If by oil vessel, you are referring to transporting crude oil, then u are tlking about LCCs(Large Crude Carrier Tankers)...these start from like $10m and above. Then employing an entire crew and getting all ur licenses is another. If by "oil lifting equipment,u are referring to drilling rigs, they don't come cheap either. And finlly, you just don't "rent" to companies. Its a long and complex process.I'd avise he invests elsewhere.

  28. Wen oil money starts rolling pple will think its ritual money cos it comes big. After yrs of toiling,I connected wit some Greece business men n I brought a vessel down n chartered it outrightly 4 six months,do u know hw much dat was? My life changed n I became one of d silent multi millionaires around n have anytin I want. Life is so beautiful n I play big in d oil n gas sector but I keep a simple profile cos I know where am coming from. I also have 2 service boats wit one of dis multinational oil companies n do u knw how many thousands of dollars get into my account on a weekly basis? Kcee welcome on board but let me jus advice u b careful as u enter d industry newly cos if u don't so many pple will swindle d hell out of u. Established guys make hell of money n also lose some. So scrutinize pple u work wit 2 ensure they aint fake. As a newcomer then, pple showed me pepper but today am wiser n yes, I do a lot 4 charity. To every young nigerian out there,we shld always pray 2 b at d right place at d right tym. Lastly our celebs shouldn't start dis oil n gas craze like wat they did wit Range Rover sport cos its a serious bizness n should not serve as a form of hype.

  59. Anon 12:09, so cool when peeps try to talk smart but don't you realize he must have had reputable perps advice him? Ever heard of crew boats or platform support vessels? 2 million dollars gets you one of those easily, I suspect. He can afford that, and yeah if you just own them there are several fleet management companies in Naija who have the licenses and would easily help you manage it. It's not that complex and yes it's a good business to go into. With the right jobs you could easily make up to 5k dollars a day. Nice one Kcee
