Wow! For the first time I can actually read something Tonto wrote without reaching for an aspirin and eye drop few seconds later. Impressive Ms. Dikeh. I know where you're coming from. I have been there. I actually tried swallowing tons of the tablets prescribed by Doctors to 'heal' me but God sent my grandma in the nick of time. For the first time, I saw my dad cry when he looked at me. I felt so ashamed. That was an instant cure to my depression. I promised to live for him and spend the rest if the time I have to make him happy and proud. If I can put what is my problem, situation and condition way past me, and trust me, they are plenty and might be incurable, then YOU can! Tonto, I'm proud of you. Well done.

She came into my Mom's store with one my promoters friend.. Tonto was free and gladly took pics with some customers.. She impressed me with her presence.. Unfortunately it is something that is given little attention in Nigeria. We have NO facilities for people suffering from depression. No shrinks that are not pastors or imams or family. Okay,nobody has right 2 take his/her life no matter the circumstance. I won't take my life 4 any reason. Life sometimes can be so frustrating but HOPE keeps one alive.

Anyway, I like your pieces of advice on Suicide. They are food for thought. I did try to take my Life twice. I had been terribly depressed for a while, and lonely. I won't do it again, hopefully, but sometimes I do have a relapse, every now and then. Life dealt me a cruel blow, and I had reached the end of the rainbow, or so I thought. I wanted to throw in the Towel ! Ummmh. I hated to wake up in the morning. Suicide is never an option. It is only the beginning of eternal doom to come when you succeed. Besides, Life continues without you.

That d devil saw ahead of u and did all he coulde to fight dat purpose and greatness in u.
