Star actress, Funke Akindele walked into her carefully plotted surprise 36th birthday last Saturday August 24th and broke into tears of joy. The party which took place at The Place Club by Papa's Entertainment, Lekki Phase One, Lagos, was witnessed by scores of celebrities, including music stars, Nollywood stars, business associates, friends, relations and fans. 

Hakeem Balogun (Olasco Films), Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz, Kate Henshaw, Sexy Steel, Eniola Badmus, Funke Kuti, Uche Jombo, Ty Mix, JJC, Sound Sultan,AY and his wife, Reminisce, African China, Bantu, Kaffy, Layole Oyatogun and many more were there. More photos after the cut...

    Awwwwww I love Funke Akindele so much nd I'm happy she has moved on nd didn't break down with everything dat happened. Beautiful guests. Some correct a lot local but hey it's d thought dat counts. Kateeee Henshaw looking hot as usual. Never let's us down. Uche Jombo put on a little weight but she's a true black queen. Funke Kuti I have always said she has some type of exotic beauty nd she also didn't let me down. Beautiful!
