Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu of Niger state, governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, governor Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto state, governor Musa Kwankwaso of Kano state, and governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state.
Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa and Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state, who were barred from attending the convention, joined the other governors, Atiku, and Bukola Saraki in the new factional PDP.
After addressing an impromptu press conference explaining why they decided to form a new faction, officers were immediately elected. Abubakar Baraje was elected chairman, while
Almustapha will soon form his own PDP will be. Dead and buried soon
ReplyDeleteShame on Amaechi, he is following Northerners... Them go just cut am off before he realizes... Anyway, to each his own...
DeleteOne man will loose out in this whole thing! That man will loose everything in the end. That man has little or no options right now. That man is in the new formed faction! And that man is not a northerner.

Atiku is battling for relevance in 2015 at all cost. You still want to rule Nigeria and just trying to install your men. Baraje new chairman - Atiku's boy... hahhahahahahah we know as e dey go. Amechi go and learn from Odilli and see how he ruined his political career because of ambitions

DeleteHhmm, what is this country turning to? Naija, we hail thee
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how Atiku is in on all this? I'm expecting many other factions soon. I'm not shocked Amaechi is a part of this but honestly i expected better from him despite all evidence to the contrary. How a few men will hold the other multitude to ransom still eludes me. I'm not impressed with PDP at all but these men are worse clowns. If i were Bamanga or GEJ i'll definitely pay them no mind. They should register their party and go meet Jega. Mscheeeewwww!!! Sure losers! "Port Harcourt Girl"

ReplyDeleteThis is indeed a major setback for the PDP in this political dispensation in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they clinging on to the PDP? They should form their own party or join another one and lets test their strength at elections. Agents of confusion.
ReplyDeleteThis is indeed a major setback for the PDP in this political dispensation in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteAll these our witch rulers that care only for themselves
ReplyDeleteDear Amaechi, the Hausas will use you and dump you.
ReplyDeleteAt...u's group are d ones enforcing boko haram in dis country & we shudnt be suprise dat d next target 4 boko haram will be GEJ.I pray 4 disunity among pdp party IJN.I pity GEJ,evr1 will reap wot he or she sows!!! Aunty lina post my comment or I smash ur head
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahaaaaa. Look at their faces. Very SAD individuals.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is where Amaechi's failure starts. Indeed our Politicians care more about what they wld achieve for dere pocket not d interest of d common man.
ReplyDeleteAmaechi is a traitor...and the fate of a traitor awaits him....nonsense!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese malos must be bashing Amaechi in his backside. They will use him and dump him. Idiots, the lot of them.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe so many of you are basing Amechi, what has he done to deserve all this? Amechi has don't nothing but to stand for the right of the people and positivity in all. Hw many pdp leaders have the balls to Stan on their own against the president and his wife, why do you think he won the NGF elections free and fair? Nigerians you need to wake up and follow what's right instead of pulling it down besides the Northerners are the only ethnic Grp that appreciates loyalty. The only thing I see wrong in this whole thing is allowing Atiku to ride with them, they should have left him to go solo...... Smh. Besides dint forget that Amechi was castigated by pdp for nothing, meanwhile y'all r here blabbing. Very sad. BM

ReplyDeleteHahahahahaaa....addendum to my earlier comment on North Korea; anywhere u see evil, look at it very well, it won't stand the test of time. Good riddance to PDP rubbish! Infact, those helping to kill this cult are doing Nigeria a huge favour.

ReplyDeleteMay thunder strike that your mouth & your hand wither ! Mtcheeww oloshi buruku
DeleteThey simply should have formed a new party if they so believed in themselves. Why another PDP. We are tired of PDP new or old.
ReplyDeleteNigeria what a shame to our democratic system, atleast we should learn from other countries, while we call ourselves the giant of africa, good people great nation, and all sorts of names, we fail to keep it up starting from our leaders, After they say ASUU has problems I think the leaders are not matured when it comes to negotiating issues between themselves, they act like touts in the street, what do they want we the young ones to see, division and not unity I wish them the best. Thekonsult

ReplyDeleteIs God dt is working, let our God scather them and let d people of Nigeria b free from this wicked people. They ar all the same.
ReplyDeleteAtiku should take care of the part he formed PDM than trying to destroy the party that built him..Him his gang should leave PDP alone..
ReplyDeleteSee how the cookie crumbles. Get rid of PDP and half of naija's problem is solved!
ReplyDeleteBunch of confused fellas
ReplyDeletejona is more despotic than obj.... power corrupts absolute power corrupts absolutely
ReplyDeleteInfact i don't understand d problem with ds our so called leders, with ds beherviour what do they want d youth to learn from them? None of them above hv d interest of Nigerians at heart only their own selfish interest.just see hw Nigerians are suffering just b'cos of few individuals, more than 70per of Nigerians don't hv asses to good health, food, education, shealther etc ( when i mean good health dt is hw many Nigs can afford to travel abroad to seek for health care etc)yet d old politicians are still coming out to form another party instead of joining hands with d current regine to move Nigeria forward ,who do dy think will vote for them or do they think dy are better than our Presdo, i think Nigerians are wiser than yesterday. May Allah hv mercy on us.
ReplyDeleteAs in ee...dis divison shows d downfall of GEJ come dis 2015 general elections..anyway d kin Apc has its own crisis...I hear buhari inisists on avin d presidential ticket bt d APC fellows want anoda pesin..dis ppl ar criously loosin it!

ReplyDeleteDissention within a political parties don't endanger democracy. Powerful leaders that do can.
ReplyDeleteUnder democratic centralist procedures, after a decision has been made in a dispute, those in the minority are bound by the party decision reached by majority vote. All party members are required to help carry out the party decision. Authority becomes centralized through the official party bodies, and the party confronts the outside world with a single policy, that of the majority. A dissident minority is not asked to give up its views. It must simply await an appropriate time to raise the disputed issues inside the party again. And comrades in a minority are given an unqualified opportunity to serve the party in every respect in the party’s daily life.

ReplyDelete“The struggle for power organized and led by the revolutionary party is the most ruthless and irreconcilable struggle in all history. A loosely-knit, heterogeneous, undisciplined, untrained organization is utterly incapable of accomplishing such world-historical tasks as the proletariat and the revolutionary party are confronted with in the present era. This is all the more emphatically true in the light of the singularly difficult position of our party and the extraordinary persecution to which it is subject. From this follows the party’s unconditional demand upon all its members for complete discipline in all the public activities and actions of the organization.
ReplyDelete“Leadership and centralized direction are indispensable prerequisites for any sustained and disciplined action, especially in the party that sets for itself the aim of leading the collective efforts of the proletariat in its struggle against capitalism. Without a strong and firm Central Committee, having the power to act promptly and effectively in the name of the party and to supervise, coordinate and direct all its activities without exception, the very idea of a revolutionary party is a meaningless jest.
Jona is a bad politician. Failed at the governors forum election, failed at the takeover of the house of assembly in rivers state and failed at the convention with Governors walking out on him. He is sure one novice politician.lets see the miracle he would pull out to recover from this.politics is a game of numbers and he seems to always come up short.
ReplyDeletewhy will u call Nigeria a stupid country and say God bless America? i feel you are the biggest fool because we must appreciate what we have and contribute our quota to the development of this nation...if the Americans are like you then their country will not be as good as what it is now, let's have a good attitude towards our country in due time i believe everything will be fine for we the your of this country......

ReplyDeleteShame on pdp leaders!
ReplyDeletePeople keep blaming Ameachi it is not the guys fault, even the bible say u should go to wia u will be celebrated not rejected, if his broda GEJ dos not want him let him go wia his wanted. Any father who watches his children fight and pretend he is not awear of de fight his a bad parent! GEJ is de father of dis nation and south south to bring it bak home, and he keeps saying his not awear of de crisis in rivers state, I say shame to him cos if this house(rivers) fall he should be blame not Ameachi cos his de head of de house bt not Ameachi. God bless Nigeria. CHARLES.
ReplyDeleteGEJ should do the honourable thing n step down in 2015.Obviously he is popular only in the south south n for obvious reason.Let him tow the line of his former god father-OBJ who left when his third term failed. He shouldnt let people decieve him,he cant win the poll in 2015 with only the south south votes,he should leave now whn the ovation his highest for him.I am from the south west,i use to be his fan n voted for him until his type of politise started to confuse me,am so unbiased with my principles,he cant even win ondo state where i reside,he shouldnt decieve himself, his boy, mimiko cant deliver the state for him, mimiko's image has even taken a dive below cos of his romance with GEJ,pple dont love him in the state like before.GEJ's pple shouldbtell him the truth, that is why i love the yoruba pple, put a knife on their neck, they ll still stick to their words,OBJ's worse critics were the yoruba pple, his people.
ReplyDeleteYou people complaining about Amaechi, which south south governor has come to his aid since all this happenings? Where should pdp stop him from coming to the rally? This whole thing is just a mess and the man with no shoes sud b highly ashamed of himself,Being vindictive,a whole president.

ReplyDeleteI still believe it will be better we have a God fearing military person to take over...his first mission will be to execute all our politicians then rule Nigeria for 4yrs and hand over back to new generation politicians people like professor pat utomi and people of his like mind
ReplyDeleteAt this stage I think we see that all our politicians have failed us so I think we need a God fearing military person that will clean up all this mess...his assignment will be to execute all the politicians that have piloted the affairs of this country in the past...then rule for 4yrs and hand over to new generation politicians people like professor pat utomi and like mind of his
ReplyDeleteApparently, this division will produce southern Nigeria and northern Nigeria . GOD help us
ReplyDeleteWhat s SHAME!! Atiku believe say him must rule Nigeria by fire by force! It won't happen!

ReplyDeleteMost people commenting here are blogs readers without political inclined sense, reading thru comments here point to the fact that most of you readers don't know much about politics and power, government and history but all you know is tribal bigotry, entertainment. Atiku is one of the founding members of PDP and PDP under Tukur is drifting away and causing serious internal crisis, instead of u blog readers to bring out the real cause of this factions ,u people are can't even make constructive argument only insults. Nigerian Youth... I hail ooo
ReplyDeletehmmmm wahala dey
ReplyDeleteWhy must Bamanga Tukur refuse to step aside so that the post of national chairman be contested? Why must the peoples choice for the post of deputy national chairman, chief Sam Sam Jaja be replaced by Uche Secondus(GEJ's choice)? Where the hell is the internal democracy in PDP? #Think_Tank asks so#
ReplyDeleteAll I know is that PDP will lose MASSIVELY come 2015
ReplyDeleteAtiku must you remain in PDP? Why don't you form your own political party like the likes of Orji Uzor Kalu did. The hausa's seriously believe its their right to rule Nigeria. Rotimi Amechi wake up, I guess by the time you stop taking drugs, you will realise how they will use and dump you cos.

ReplyDeleteA fraction born out of greed and not the vision to serve. What we have is a crop of capitalist slave drivers and not leaders. A significant number of them can never define vision nor leadership, hence they can't drive it.
ReplyDeleteNonsense of the first order. Betrayers can never desist they are in the both party, just watch n see within the next five years to come. What they should have done is to create peace among themselves and work together to move this country forward. Besides, they cant decieve Nigerians anymore cos none of them want the post for the love they have for their country. It is for the love of the bank account n fame.
ReplyDeleteFollow Atiku At Your Own Risk. He will Still Run back to PDP and Beg. - by Kayode Ogundamisi, London.
ReplyDeleteI Pity those PDP Governors being led by former VP Abubakar. Atiku is not a man to be TRUSTED. He's going to negotiate his way back to GEJ.
He's simply going to justify it as being in the 'National Interest' cant people take a look at Atiku's antecedents? he does not finish a battle, did he not go back to DOBALE (kneel down) for OBJ after all the raised expectations of facing OBJ'S 'anti democratic antics'?
Did Atiku not dump the Alliance for Democracy even after he was DASHED the ticket of the party as a candidate? Did Atiku not go running back to GEJ even with all Ebele did to him during the 2011 PDP Presidential primaries?
Did we not listen to Atiku's "BITTER" pro-Democracy speech at the Eagle Square against GEJ? Who would ever imagine Atiku going back to GEJ and his PDP? Follow Atiku at your own risk.
Dis is a Call to we Nigerians dat, when its time for us to Vote ,We must vote wisely. Now I tink our future for 2015 is in our own hands.Do not be carried away wit speeches of "wen I was young I ve no shoes"I tink u all kno wat I'm sayn....its stil fresh in ma memory. Pls Let's Vote all dis pple out,its time to stand for our right.its time Time for us to wake up from our sleep. Vote Gej out,Vote PDp out. Thank u......
ReplyDeleteAbeg make una leave Amaechi alone for all I know Amaechi is doing a wonderful work of disunity in PDP and may God strenthen him and his faction members the more. May peace not reign in PDP and may confusion continue in their party till after election in 2015. We are sick and tired of the government led by PDP at all level.
ReplyDeleteThe way they are going, I hope there will be no bloodletting.
