Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones separate after 13 years

After 13 years of marriage, actor Michael Douglas, 68, and wife actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, 43, have separated. A rep for the couple released a statement today confirming the separation.
"Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage. There will be no further comment." The rep said
Michael and Catherine got married in 2000 and have two children together, Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10.

    This woman tried sha....she was living with him,his mother,his ex-wife(which I don't understand)even at his cancer time

Therefore, in case of divorce, Zeta-Jones will get $1.5 million for every year of marriage. She had asked for almost $5 million a year, but accepted a lower figure in exchange for a lump sum of cash up front and a $5 million “straying fee” if Douglass cheats on her. In return, Douglas also got a confidentiality clause from Zeta-Jones, barring her from ever revealing personal details of their marriage."

    Apparently his comment about oral sex causing his throat cancer was the last straw for Catherine. This embarrassed her as he failed to clarify this was before he met her.

    She was humiliated by his comment about the HPV virus and oral sex which gave him throat cancer. He retracted the statement because she went ballistic. She's also angry he was exposed to it before they married and he didn't tell her. Hmmm.

    So bad. Considering that this is one the few celebrities marriages I like. Am always happy when I see them together. Because they always remind me that even a country like USA when divorce is so rampant some people will still make their own marriage work out. I pray they work it out soon ijn.
