  10. Awwww. Sad news. Is it just me or are more Nigerians suffering from Kidney, cancer, etc kinda diseases recently? Or is it that the Internet has made it possible to know or hear about those suffering and dying from them? That said, Nigerians should learn to adopt the checkup / early detection culture. We should stop waiting till its broken before we fix it. We pay more attention on things that shouldn't be in the top of our lists. Health is key. After God. Of you're not alive, you won't enjoy the money you're chasing or making. A comprehensive abi na general health tests should be carried out at least once a year. The costs about 40-100k depending on the hospital. Some of ya'll might say that is expensive but if one day you're diagnosed with cancer or kidney wahala, shey more than that 100k will appear outta the blues for treatment? Or if you die, an elaborate funeral will be organized for you. Make your health your priority so that you can drive that Range Rover you just bought, fix that Peruvian weave, rock that Chanel purse, wear those Louboutins, snap with those Iphone 5, BlackBerry Z, Q, Nokia lumnia and pout, see those children we Labour for go to school and age gracefully like fine wine. Please My fellow Nigerians, let us take care of ourselves as well as commit our health status into the capable and healing Hands of the Almighty. Thank you for reading my long message. God bless Ya'll.

  12. Cancer,in my opinion is worse than every other infirmity out there because it comes in different forms.
People need to be the educated on this deadly disease and how they can carry out simple checks on themselves especially in the case of breast and nasal cancer.
    Sad tale!

Peeps should stop lamenting about this word " dead, die, died, death" etc. Remember as soon as a child is being brought to this earth, he or she is qualified to die. So why boarder youself about the powers over life. Just live a life well and live the hours of seperation to God.

  65. Aunty Lara, how i wept yesterday when i learnt of your passing... you were such a sweet soul and a wonderful human being who never thought going out of her way for anyone a problem.I am consoled that you did well and lived good and in your short time on earth, you have touched a lot of people positively. will miss you so much dear aunty. sleep on beautiful one, you have gone to rest and rest you will in the bosom of the lord. if only i listened to my gut instinct, was at my mechanics near her house some weeks back, and had this hunch to go and and say hi to her, but was considering the "tuff-love" backlash i would get from her for not coming over nor calling for a while and decided another time i will see aunty Lara- obviously, the another time will never come.IF ONLY I HAD GONE THAT DAY, maybe i would have seen her before she passed and had some quality time with her. Morale of this story: it may be the last time you see someone you care about pls go out of your way if possible to make ur loved ones feel loved and special. RIP Aunty Larus...
