These British and their modern slavery again? They are the major cause of this brain drain problem we have and keep indulging in exercises like this to make sure they keep the best of the best labour our country provides for themselves. God, I hate the British!!!

Please find out what the British Council in Nigeria is actually about before you start myopic rants about slavery and colonisation. 99percent of the people who work in British Council Nigeria are NIGERIANS and this would have been an initiative put forward by the Nigerian team (FACT ACTUALLY). It just shows how much the youth of Nigeria have lost their way, I see some comments here begging Linda to post a music video, whereas this is an initiative that can lead to a better tomorrow For participants. The Nigerian government doesn't care about it's people and when Nigerian companies propose this kind of things, they are pushed aside. This is why, I believe the British council took up the gauntlet to initiate this drive. Nigerian Youths, please avail yourselves and don't be enthralled only by quasi-pornographic music videos that exist today.

ReplyDeleteI'm into the visual art, which is a multi million dollars industry (especially for famous and established artist).
ReplyDeleteDefiantly, such a map would be helpful for a Nigerian artist like myself (assuming I get selected, it would mean; free publicity). I know that their main target would be the music industry (only music and visual art is equal in quality to any of our foreign counterparts).
