Jumia.com.ng, Nigeria's No1 online shopping destination recently celebrated her 1st year anniversary. They put a short video together to tell the story of how they've brought about significant change to Nigeria. Enjoy...
I am so proud of Jumia. I hope they get bigger n better. The jumia ad on tv though....it looks familiar, very familiar. Something original will be appreciated next time Jumia. Anyway, well done so far.
The problem is that the site is an eyesore.. Especially on a mobile platform. Everything is jammed up together, it's difficult to navigate, read or do anything. Quite a disappointment I must say. They should take u cue from konga.com; there everything is clear. Prices of the items above to super impose its self on those under & vice versa. Jumai has nice stuff but the site is the major issue.
Seems like a well thought idea, would like to see how they face the logistical challenges as they grow and if they will be able to keep up tquality customer service. Is this a Lagos. Based company or Abuja-I detect the accent of the owners/reps. I suggest they strip the name off their delivery guus bikes-attracting thieves. Goodluck.
Its for real...... They r so reliable, fast and they allow payment on. Delivery too...... have used it n had frnds who does too bt they dnt mk delivery on weekends...... Thumbs up n. Kudos to them.
My advice to LIBs, run away from e-commerce stores like this people jumai.com. Tried them twice this APril, horrible experience and no refund. Someone said i try konga, I dey fear but maybe i will one last time.
yaayyyyy!!!this is Nigeria's "AMAZON" lol!!!i hope they step up their warehouse as time goes on. hopefully i would be able to shop online with an assurance wen i get back to naija.
Criminals putting a call to me, pretending as if they want to buy, getting all information about my product. going to facebook and google adwords to advertise it.
you people had better stop this illicit way of doing business if u dont want to go bankrupt.
Is this not the same company that woke up one day and fired more than 30 full staff professionals that built the company. And you celebrate today. May God forgive jumia and judge the management of jumia for the pain you caused to the family and homes involved.
awwww! good for them.
