Chivas is well known for luxury,
brotherhood and chivalry. Chivas is
a product of unique origin, a proud lineage of whisky makers and more than two
centuries worth of history since the year 1840. This brand of whisky which is
produced by the Chivas brothers and owned by Pernod Ricard, has won numerous gold medal awards. This highly
sought after Scotch was an immediate success since its introduction to the
market and has been a long-time favourite among real Scotch connoisseurs as
well as members of the well to do stratum of the society. Chivas can be found only in the hands of the
upper echelon such as those attending the Cannes Film Festival etc. in the
South of France.
On the other
hand, the InterContinental brand came
into being in the year 1946 when the Pan American airways launched their
International Hotel brand, its first opening was in Belem, Brazil, then
extended a trailblazing portfolio across the world with over 170 hotels in 60
different countries. Many guests will walk the black carpet attending in
anticipation of the unveiling of what will be the best hotel ever in Nigeria.
InterContinental brand has
become a byword for luxury travel to a jet-set generation with an impressive
guest list; from Louis Armstrong to Princess Grace.
Chivas in the past has associated
with movies stars like Frank Sinatra and has also been a sponsor of the Cannes
film festivals for a number of years.
“We
are delighted and privileged to be hosting such a prestigious event at
InterContinental Lagos," said Didier Coeln, General Manager "and we
look forward to growing our partnership with Chivas and welcoming the esteemed Nigerian
society to experience the newest and most luxurious hotel in Lagos."
The evening which will treat guests to a 6
