  62. 1st t weet-rhetoric question
2nd-The Nigeria police are major victim especially those low rank officers that seem like tax collectors and beggars.
3rd-Some states and even at the federal level are improving. We are all victim.
4th-we are victim, even you more importantly with your status. Not make you raise a get together for our heroes while alive or suggest making a drama or film together with them
    5th-finally, shame on you.

  65. I am from Cameroon but she just spoke the truth for us all in Africa!
    STANDING OVATION!
It breaks my heart to see that so many of us have replaced the duty of care for our neighbor with greed. We have grown so accustomed to our own exploitation and the exploitation of our brothers and sisters that we do not even question anymore the corrupted status-quo and just want to join in the decadent and orgiastic looting of Africa by our elite in coalition with the west. We aspire to be like these "big bosses" who strip us from our dignity to hoard luxury cars and houses abroad, flash their money everywhere while most of us are dying in absolute poverty at home. This is the shame of Africa!! We mock and despite those courageous enough to stand for the truth and justice and we say nothing when their lives are crushed by the power.
We have forgotten the basic lesson of life which is to always stand with the weak. I keep reading these stories about how some development project would just need few millions to uplift hundreds of thousands out of poverty, everybody tells us that there is NO money. Yet when I am on Instagram, I see the children of these 'big bosses' splashing millions around the world, from Milan to NY, from Balenciaga to Dior.
Anyone who questions this is accused of being jealous and 'sick' and is immediately silenced!! As if greed and total lack of dignity are things a decent person could be jealous of! Seriously, if you think that to accumulate white-made goods and being able to afford a lavish white/western lifestyle matters more than caring for us all, what makes you any different from those Africans who sold their counterparts in slavery to the white man in exchange for pearls and rifles??
Shame on any of you who call yourself African yet take part in the looting of Africa by indirectly or directly supporting those thieves!!
50 years after the independences, the political consciousness of the African man has been for the most part annihilated by greed and desire to dominate over the other instead of living side by side!

    ReplyDelete
  66. What the fuck is wrong with u pilot wife. If we keep blaming the govt we would only end up going in circles. What have u done for the country despite the millions you are making round the globe. Why not give 20percent of all the money u have to the health sector in nigeria and let's see if there won't be a step forward in our health sector. Before u say shit try and wash ur hands cos no one is a saint.

  77. Why Omotola has raised important questions that should be reflected upon, it is also important for us to ask her as a "privileged" Nigeria how she has been able to impact positively the lives of ordinary Nigerians whom, because of little or no opportunity fall prey to the bad side of Nigerian system.

Is she claiming that her conscience made her put these questions out or that she is making a point to be seen on the scenes again? Is she just talking or ready to make changes?

The point is, if you cannot be part of the solution then join those making noise. You cannot be the both.

  134. he speaks out of disappointment in her country, after travelling to the USA and back, is disturbed about the shocking difference between the countries, the truth on one side is she is correct, America is better and Nigeria is filled with unwilling people and less opportuinities, while America.is the opposite, on the other hand she is Kinda wrong, visiting a place is different from living there, remember, the re the laws the more the sins, América is making you believe what it wants you to, it has turned away from God, has no culture with people who waste the opportuinites lets be thankful for what we Have

  139. Omotola has always been an activist. No ass licker kind of person. In my office we discussed this and i remember someone saying oh that's why they shared national honors for everyone who campaigned for Jonathan. Omotola you don't have to campaign for any corrupt leader. Please ignore their agents making noise on social media. You have more supporters than blog commentators

  140. I don't understand what people want her to do, someone said "shame on u too omotola, what have u done with all the money u get?" That is the most stupidest thing I hv read online since that corpus chritus rubbish, is omotola a politician? Do u pay taxes to her? Is she not a citizen like u.. She can only remind the government that they need to check themselves through mediums like this and trust me they'll get the message bcos of her social status.. Asides that any other thing she does is out of love for her country people..her money is hers and she owes no one NATIN.. For those that hv sold their voices for national honor well, hope it feeds u forever...

IF THIS WAS AN AMERICAN CELEB, WITH HER POPULARITY,THE WORLD WOULD HAVE BEEN DISCUSSING THESE TWEETS. BUT I GUESS YOU NIGERIANS DON'T APPRECIATE YOUR OWN OR THE POWER YOU HAVE THAT'S WHY YOUR COUNTRY IS STILL THE WAY IT IS.

  146. Those of you coming online to talk about Omotola's brothers need to pls shut up and mind their business. Omotola's brothers only two of them are leaving well and do not need your help. They are well established young men. Thank you

  147. Why should you suckers be asking what Omotola has done for Nigeria? What kind of poverty mentality is in this country so? Abi are they using jazz on you people to be confused?
Is omotola not just an ordinary working citizen like you?
    Does she collect your taxes?
Or does she sit ontop of your natural resources?
Are you people educated at all? This is truly sad.

    1. You don't have to sit on any body's taxes or be government to make an impact. We see celebrities abroad they are not the government and yet they have created mega impact in their country, we read about them all the time and if motola has done so much like pple are saying how come its only like one percent of nigerians who knw about it. Abegi

You are in a league all by yourself. I can understand the reason for the Immense jealousy and few hate talks by detractors. You are a strong brand and they fear the feed back that this will generate.
Everyone loves Omotola its not just a song or a myth. AnyTHING that dosent love you is no living .

To all the small small kids on this linda Ikeji 's blog talking nonsense. I don't blame you. Who in all your generation has done anything for Nigeria? Noisy goats .
Even if it is for all the charity I have heard you've been doing with your own personal money alone. The God that is lifting and upholding you be your strength. We love you omotola.

  154. I have found that 80 percent of people who post things like this end up do have political ambitions and do post these things to gain public favour.

If Omotola is posting these things out genuine concerns, then Kudos! We need people like her to to unsettle corrupt political office holders.

Not people that will use their fame to get behind corrupt politicians, doing campaigns after they must have gotten a few tips.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Hmm I suspect that most of the Negetive if not all the Negetive comments here are from the beneficiaries of this corrupt government. They are many so I'm not surprised they have brought their guns out.
I'm only upset that the general public of Nigerians are weak and messed up so that they don't see the Gross benefit of what this lady has done to match this suckers word for word.
Thank God for you Omotola. Please don't change. I've followed you for a while , and I know you are special, different, please don't change.
