Iyanya and manager Ubi Franklin donate N1million to OJB

Iyanya and his manager/business partner Ubi Franklin this evening visited ailing super producer OJB Jezreel at his Gbaja, Surulere residence and donated N1million to him. I learnt that OJB produced 'Gbadun You', the first track on Iyanya's first album after he won Project Fame in 2008.

Iyanya and Ubi returned from London this evening and went straight to see OJB. God bless them.

    Ojb produced songs for Omotola, 2face.

    Ojb was more/less a Kennis Music producer (Oga keke an D1, where art thou?)

    Wizkid (Insensitive goat, posing with a car at this time) honed his skills @ Ojb's studio. Dbanj used to be on Ojb's label and he produced like 3 songs or so. *smh*

    Funny enough, it is those who either never had anything or prob had little to do with him that are helping out. What's Mercy J, IDJA connection to OJB?

    There is too much talk abt this ojb. It should never have gotten to all this. His ppl in the industry shud have taken care of this without the public even hearing abt it. This money is not too much for them to come up with, but i want to believe they are waiting to give last donation as it is now more or less like competition among them so that the largest donor could make another name through that. God will surely send help to this young man, i will be donating mine tomorrow God's willing and am waiting to see what Linda will also donate.

    Bia Linda, you dont know that you can motivate ur readers to drop money eh? Since this story was made public from your blog, i was never motivated the way you kept on but was deeply moved by how one of your fellow bloggers presented the case and encouraging her blog visitors and i had to donate what i could. Lead the pack, no need going behind and coding what you 'are yet to' or 'have' done. Afterall the illness is no longer a state secret so no need hiding what or who goes there at night. All we want is the money to be complete. Biko show an example by coming out to say you have donated your own. Dont give room for insults to be hurled at you and other night donors.

    As much as I am happy dat these musicians are helping ojb jesrel, these celebrites should learn to save their money for rainy days. And not lavish it on expensive cars, hotels and so on . Learn to invest your money so in future wen u are nolonger working ur money can work for u. I am sure ojb had made more dan dis 15 in his life time but he can't lay hands on it now in dis his time of need so dis is a lesson to celebrites, ojb, myself , and everyone else.
