ReplyDeleteComfort ekpo has always been full Of controversies ever since she assumed office as vice chancellor of Uniuyo. From the EFCC saga to the student unrest. How can you expect students to spend 200 naira everyday. She acts like she has never been in a university environment. May the soul of the students rest in peace, amen...from a final year student of microbiology, Uniuyo

Barely a year, here is another tragic occurrence rocking NANS again. Another four fellow Comrades gone.. May their souls rest in peace. May ur spirit continue to hunt the oppressors. Aluta Continua

ReplyDeleteEhya!! RIP to dem
ReplyDeleteRip our comrades
ReplyDeleteThis is whay happens when a simple situation cannot be managed. if only the VC has met with the students or leaders of the group to pacify them or something. At least say a few good words or promises while the tension goes down, but no she decided to do it the cowardly way. Now lives are lost, properties destroyed and students are at home. This is really sad. i blame the students also, because you can never be greater than the institution, the students will be made to pay for everything destroyed and much more.Government fix the roads, get ur priorities right also. Lord save our country.
ReplyDeleteDis is nt good at all...pls youth its time to go hand over your life to GOD...read psalm 91 verse 2....
ReplyDeleteRIP
ReplyDeleteI almost lost my life on this same road, Ikot ekpene Umuahia road that links up Akwa Ibom with Abia state if not for the grace of God. Thank God I would have also been in the news like this. Oh God you are so merciful! my driver lost steering but I don't know how God made him get back on track!
ReplyDeleteGovernment should dualize the ikot ekpene umuahia road to avoid more casualties.
I hope Comfort Ekpo is happy. See what she has unleashed. We say sorry to the families of the bereaved and that is where it ends. They go and gnash their teeth in sorrow. You are in a place of authority does not mean you have to be autocratic. You dont have a listening ear. That is not management. Unilag, which is in a commercial centre and very cosmopolitan too takes N30 to the gate. An Intrduction of this transport fare and a gradual increase of it would not have killed her.Posterity will never forgive her for this. I hope the University has backup for all its records. If not, she has made forgery of records and certificates very lucrative. Being a Professor should not automatically make you a VC, your managerial prowess should be tested as well. I hope she is happy.
ReplyDeleteThis death is one too many for Nigerian youths, not meaning to sound harsh but the drivers of these SUG buses they use, are most often reckless n drive on neck-breaking speed. Went to FUTO, so am sure of what am saying ,plus d poor rep dis SUG/NANS pple give students and fund embezzlement. May God comfort their families,Amen
ReplyDeleteSee how many lives have been lost no thanks to the greedy vice chancellor she just could not run that school up in flames everything has gone lives properties have been lost
ReplyDeleteIt is well.....just a reflection of a failed govt.....to move from point a to b will cost lives again? Wat a shame....
ReplyDeleteoh God...rest their souls..my Alma mater lost a student....sad!!
ReplyDeleteMay God grant their souls the peace Amen!
ReplyDeleteRIP
