But I once heard from them that for a man of God to be or accept award is sin.

God will be the Judge, who is righteous, holy, just, and true; every man in particular will be judged; as the judgment will be general to all, it will be special to everyone, and will proceed according to their works; for God will render to wicked men according to the demerit of their sins, the just recompense of reward, eternal damnation; and to good men eternal life, not according to the merit of their good works, which have none in them, but according to the nature of them; such who believe in Christ, and perform good works from a principle of grace, shall receive the reward of the inheritance, which is a reward of grace, and not of debt. In other words, God will render to evil men according to the true desert of their evil deeds; and of his own free grace will render to good men, whom he has made so by his grace, what is suitable and agreeable to those good works, which, by the assistance of his grace, they have been enabled to perform.

Therefore it’s only God that will confirm his true servants. For he will repay everyone according to what that person has done (Romans 2:6)

  112. No son of God will abuse or insult people who insult a man of God! I get offended when I see immature Christians misrepresent Christ. Why Wld u loose ur cool at people pelting abuses on Gods servant? Jesus was called son of Beelzebub & it didn't stop him from giving God glory. You don't need to defend Gods servants, and God will NOT punish any one who abuses them either, we pray their eyes are open and they understand Grace and the power of God that worketh love. Pastor Ayo we thank God for keeping you through all , and few bishops will clean the floor in worship of their King. So everyone who doesn't understand worship, don't hate if u can, but please do if you can't. Even Jesus disciples criticized Mary Magdalene for wasting a year's wages worth of perfume on her Lord. And self righteous Christians who claim to fight Gods war on Linda ikeji's blog, stop reading them blogs, go study your bibles - you misrepresent Jesus Christ, he don't curse no one, only saves, loves and restores.
