    @ Shasha Fierce! You are obviously hating. I attended the conference at the Oxford Union and Banky delivered an excellent speech at a panel on '" culture, media and art" and his participation at the conference has nothing to do with a fan.

    And to relieve you of your ignorance the Conference is actually the biggest gathering of African Scholars in the UK hosted by Oxford University African Society and Oxford Union -the oldest debating society in the world (where the likes PSY, Nancy Pelosi, John McCain have spoken in the last few months) A South African head of goverment and VP of another African country spoke at the same event yesterday. To give credence to its international standard, the Vice Chancellor of the University was in attendance at the conference too.

    Moreover, the conference is not entirely an academic conference. It recognises people who are thought leaders in thier field and positively contribute to the discourse on African renaissance.
