I don't know where this happened. The lady was seriously harassed for wearing a skimpy dress. Watch the video and tell us what you think. I personally do not support what was done to this woman. You are free to disagree...watch!
And d outfit wasn't bad o. This is just sad. What sort of reasoning is this? Today people are beaten to death, next people are being stripped. Why all d hate for pete's sake! Nigeria educate urself! Renew ur minds!!
My God am so speechless, what would the westerners say if they see such a video?that's why my white gf said she can never follow me back to nigeria cos she has heard so many horrible things about my country, and I can't really say I blame her,cos most of them if not all are noting but the truth.
So so wrong!!!! Why do people behave so barbaric? Are men done for the same when they wear sagging pants showing half their ass? This is straight up wrong... This is a form of discrimination! Because it is like wearing traditional Nigerian clothes maybe in Europe and been assulated for your choice of dressing! If people minded their own business and worried about their own dressing it would reduce this kind of stupidity!!! Yes the dress is abit short but so what? If she is comfortable allow her to wear it. Sexually deprived hood rats always quick to take any opportunity to harass women! Their flicking dicks should all be chopped of so maybe then they will think with their brains! Utter crap. NKT
You all better stop insulting Nigeria that video did not happen in Nigeria. Shame on you Linda for not the investigating before saying abuja.....mschewwww
Linda okwa ima na idi very backwards? Ths video is as old as last year. And no it didn't happen in abj. Its in our very darling Lasgidi. Do try to keep up babes.
Linda why are you adding to the girls embarrassment by posting this video???? It is so wrong on many levels. I know you it's your job but wud you have put this derogatory video if it was someone you knew?? Now the girls face will be known to thousands of people on your blg and some of them will now even argue that the girl deserved it. You can do better, Linda Please post my comment
Gia! Linda dis video is old na! BTW I do not support wat was done to her @ alllllll. Buh let this be a lesson to girls. Mind d places u go wiv short dressess.
This is unfortunately happening in my home country, Ivory Coast. :( There are certain neighborhoods where women can't freely wear what they want...This is probably happening in Abobo (some retarded district in Abidjan...)
Shut up if u dnt ve anitin else 2 say. D girl wore a net leggins under coz she decent nd dose dirty boyz wit dere filty hands were all over her... ThankGod 4 d lady who tried 2 cover her.
I am certain u r d type to judge a book by its cover.. I can only imagine myslf to av just one luk at u nd call u a judge with many secrets.. As dey say... A thief can know a thief of its kind
i guess nigeria is still not ready for skimpy dressing... she has probably learnt from this to prevent this from happening next time.pity she had to go through this ordeal
Oh please shut d hell up.. People should have freedom 2wear wat dey want wen n whr dey want, fundamental Human rights .. + dis is "Africa" nt "African", linda please post ma comment for 1ce
She doesn't deserve to be treated like an animal, that is sexual harrassment if u ask me. Dey had no biz touching n exposing her further. Barbarians....
U r obviously vry stupid, dys is Africa nt Europe, she wear am for ur body???????!!!! Wot she wears n hw she appears iz byw er and er God. Anybody wa no like watin she wear make e carry face waka. Dys iz y we dnt progress in nigeria. Shallow minds
This is very wrong... It takes a married man to know the pain of what they have done to this innocent lady... u r free to wear whatever u like, asides.. this is not too short...
Wat sort of rubbish is this? This is bullying on d highest level. Wat d hell is their business if she wearz a short dress. Nigerianz mehnnnn.. Smh seriously.. Very very unfair.
Definitely not Abuja. i am sure it happened in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). Somebody was saying in broken French: "leave her, don't do this leave her". And the women were saying in their local language "we beg you, stop this". That language is called Diula and is spoken by a 100% Muslim ethnic group in the northern part of Ivory Coast. Sad indeed.
Nigeria is such a crazy place, mehnn! It is a place where anything goes. If our law enforcement agents were efficient and incorruptible, this video is enough for them to track down these animals and potential rapists and deal with the severely. Unfortunately, the reverse is the case.
Wow, this is very sad. Y should people act like dat. I don't support them bt at the same time, she should know the kind of clothes she should wear when going to such places. I feel for her.
i am indifferent about wearing skimpy clothings, i do not wear them myself but whoever has to wear it has to wear in places where stuff like that are being worn. like abroad (i don lokk tire esp when i first got here) and if you must wear in naija, make sure you have a car or going out in a car to places where you will meet ppl with same dress sense as you. All these agberos no send you o!
Linda if u re just seeing dis then u no gbeborun reach me o,although d dress was too short bt it was nobody's bus.and does touts just took advantage of her really
Haba wat arrant nonsense is dis? I knw wat she wore is completely wrong esp in d day time, but who gave dose freaking idiots d right to harass her. It's just nt right on any level..they were even ready to naked her. Not right @ all
Saw dis video last year and de said it happened in Benin(Edo state)...I don't support d way she was harrassed and I defnatly don't support d way she is dressed. I mean let's face reality here,Nigeria is still undergoing d westernization process, some things be it in d east, west, north and south re still a NO! NO!. D question leenda is ow can d Nigerian man show his disapproval witout getting graphic and violent. And Yes!u can wear somtin even shorter dan what she is wearing, just mke sure ur mobile...
This is barbaric, totally wrong. But d girl sef find trouble, how can u, in broad daylight dress like dat in such an area and don't expect to be lynched. Msheeeew
Linda I have watched this before and I was filled wit rage.. Lik how can people in their rite mind harass this girl like this... Theyought to be arrested.. Anyone that respect his mum and sisters at home can not do this kind of thing..it is barbaric... I know some people will justify it by saying she deserved it for wearing skimpy clothe, but dnt forgt its her body.. She is free to wear whatever she feel lik wearing and u can't tell me ur sisters dnt wear skimpy tins atleast when they are at home, why dnt u pounce on her and devour her and steip her naked and then tell people she deserved it for wearing skimpy clothe... This action to me is not different from rape... We shudnt go abt harassing the weaker sex we ought to protect as the stronger sex
old video . U are literally resurrecting it ! Haven said that , this wouldnt have happened in any sane society .U can be rest assured that some policemen where enjoying the show from a "safe corner"!!
I just wanna cry..... I don't care what anybody has to say but this is just way over the top!! There goes Nigerians who think they have a moral authority! They could have raped her out there, beaten her and burnt her cos she's dressed the way she wants!! When do we begin to live in accordance with the law?? I'm tired of all this crap!! Why do we behave like Animals??
Naija is a fucked fucked country, I'm so pissed right now with this video. What's their business with what she wore, can they do this to their mother that's if they have one that raised them anyway. Another reason out of many other reasons I can't live in Naija. Fucking men that are just frustrated, imagine molesting a woman like that on the street. Those are the kind of men that will beat their wives to death, it's just so obvious. God will punish them plenty, oloshious fellows! Linda Ikeji post this comment oohhhhhh! May God punish all the men involved!

And we get upset when we are referred to as barbaric. I am ashamed of behaviors I see coming out of Naija. This is very sad indeed to see how low Nigerians have gotten! And for those ppl that will say she deserved what she got, pray and hope crap like this never happens to someone close to you.
For goodness sake, what are human beings turning into? Everyone now want jungle justice, If only we can at least think twice that she is my sister, mother, aunt, niece or even wife and tell her with the love of God to go home and change, then that is LOVE and the best way to handle this, and not to disgrace her and take advantage of her publicly. Humans are becoming cruel. I pity her. Indeed, common sense is not really common. Let's grow up people!
They re so crazy to treat her in such a manner, y such things happen, is purely bcos our country is so lawless, if it were to b overseas dos guys will b piked one after d other and surely face jail terms, useless country we live in... Mscheewwww
This is just barbaric.and to think women joined in to molest her and those same women don't wnt 2 be raped or molested.God bless the woman that covered her wt a wrapper!!!
I weep!!!! I weep cos Nigeria iz filled wiv blocked heads like u. Odè oshi am sure itz pple like u dah wish da hadwot it takes to pull of a shrt dress if u r a gal, n if u r a guy u wish ur gf culd . Stupid mufu, bolor intl. Linka beta post my comment make I no chng am for u

I don't support what is being done to the lady/woman but you ladies need to know what you wear in public, please some people are offended by what they see. Don't pollute minds, someone may also be fasting and you just spoilt the fasting with ur worldly dressings
Omg!!!! Dis is bad, what is wrong with nigerians? What u wear is totally ur biz Once u feel comfy in it why embarrass her like dis! really feeling for dis lady
What a shame, this just goes to show the level of hate and disrespect in our country. People can't seem to mind their business these days. Ain't nothing wrong with what she wore, habba bloody perverts
It sickens me 2 evn imagine dat things like dis still happen in Nigeria.. Dis is outryt barbarism... Its ppl like dese useless lot dat mob innocent ppl..
Dis is js the height of insanity amongs living mogues called humans!!!!dis is nonsense....it covered her hip whch is most impt..and she had panty hose on!wat da hell? God bless the woman that covered her up. Ladies there is a time and place for everything. Our culture is very conservative so try to dress appropriately. Those men are just damn evil!
Oh pls she is even wearing tights. The outfit is not too short. Plus she doesn't seem bothered really she doesn't seem much like she is embatassed of u ask me ill say maybe she had an argument with so Done so theey just gathered her. She is handling it very well indeed. Perhaps she is a local girl in the area. She doesn't look like someone caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Things like this video make me ashamed to be Nigerian. Stoning gays to death, undressing "scantily clad" women on the street, basing politics on religion...the list goes on. What is the point of undressing someone you think isn't dressed enough?
this is just unruly, and totally unacceptable... like wtf .. are these men for real, and they came out of a woman's hole and they are treating a woman like this, their mothers and daughters will not know peace for what they have done... goodness, hwat is your business with the short dress this lady wore.. take note she also wore tights underneath, but thses fucked up beasts just wanted to cause trouble and allow devil to use them... this for sure has brought generational curse upon their generation. s/o to the women that were there for her.. GOD BLESS THEM...
Oh pls, there are things u can wear to d mall not market, africa isnt america or uk,on no occassion should u wear that to a local region,u will be disgraced.thats a top not dress,
people like Anonymous 8.43pm,9.14pm and balls* are part of the whole nigeria problem- saying I DONT SUPPORT HOW SHE WAS TREATED BUT IT SHOULD BE A LESSON TO OTHERS....YOU HAVE THE SAME MIND SET OF THE MUSLIM EXTREMISTS IF IT ISN'T THE WAY I THINK IS OKAY THEN I HAVE TO HARASS THE PERSON OR KILL THE PERSON. its just disgusting even if she chooses to wear bikini as people in EUROPE do, TURN YOUR EYES AWAY OR PLUCK THEM OUT IF YOU SO WISH. Nigeria has a long way to go. DAVE
They were speaking my langauge (djula) this happened in either cote d'ivoire or guinea. Women are nt allowed to wear this kind of dress in many parts of cote d'ivoire or guinea.
Linda dont you know the languages in your country anymore, and how does that look like Abuja. This is definitely not Nigeria... and you didn't have to post this by the way.
God bless that woman that gave her the wrapper... these people are barbaric! who are we to judge?! its a pity how they feel justified to put the poor girl through this kind of ordeal in public while they go behind to do all sorts of dirty and despicable things! God help us!... and to all of you saying she deserves it... just wait, you'll be spoon-fed with your own medicine.
Why are some Nigerians so ignorant and out of touch with civilization? Chai! I feel so embarrassed for the girl. Girls in Nigeria need to protect themselves against people like this. Totally unacceptable on so many levels.I suggest girls start carrying pepper spray and Taser.
Meeh!!! What they did to her is wrong. What the heck ?Insulting her would have been enough. People pls don't go to the market place with skimpy clothes. To make it worse she even wore a transparent leggings. seriously? She caused it for herself anyways.
Dis is me deviating 4rm dis ish rite nw as I wasn't able to comment on d #karen igho outfit#. First off, I wld like to get dis accross to linda,in as much as u'r doing ur job to please ur fans I fink u shld respect ursef.y wld u post d comment of peeps calling u names???honestly it jx shows how degrading ppl can be. Second,d ppl in dis vid are obviously animals who do not av respect 4 demselves not to mention dem respecting d opposite sex.having said dis @all d anonymous dat left sex-related comment abt karen's outfit n d sweating, u are not different 4rm dese animals abusing dis ladies.I hope one day d Nigerian Youth wld learn to correct one anoda in luv. PS-dis is 4 d sensible one's.Thanks.
Anon 9:14 u both are big fools! So bcos u're offended u den take d opportunity 2 assault sum1 wat rubbish! I hate dis country n notin will eva make me patriotic wen crimes lyk dis go unpunished. N pls women b free 2 wear wat u want bt wen u know u're goin 2 places where illiterates, cavemen, rapists n agberos lyk anon 9:14 cn b don't wear tinz dat will make dem show off deir frustration, its nt lyk u cn do anytin bout it. Nigerians hav refused 2 grow! D level of stupidity still baffles me! Chai! 3rd world is 2 good sef! 4th world country will fit us,I'm just so vexed
I am very shocked at the comments of the LIB readers. How retarted and barbaric for ANYONE to blame the lady for what she is wearing. WTF do yall mean by she should know where she is going to so she shouldnt dress a certain way. If you and the idiots who embarassed her dont like what she has on, how is it any of your business to assault her. Its no wonder why Nigeria is in the state that its in. Nigeria is filled with IDIOTS! The poor chick has on tights underneath her dress. I am baffled at the comments ive read so far because i know majority of yall dress worse! This has absolutely nothing to do with bringing westernized culture to Nigeria or Africa, it is simple common sense and respect for all. Every human being deserves to be treated better and the sooner you illiterates learn that, the better for Nigeria.
what exactly is our society turning to?God help us.this is so sad even if she walked out of the house naked there is no reason for such embarrassment.all this touts in naija.
Ok she wore a short black dress n a black hos underneath.Wats wrong wit her dressing??I guess d weda was hot too she wanted to b free.I blame her 4 dulling hersef.2 dull 4 my likin so u didn't see bottle or anytin sharp to burst head...abeg abeg abeg
The worst part is that she was even wearing leggings underneath so technically she was covered. I personal was not seeing anything and i think the people should get in trouble for sexual assault. Sad country we live in. Look at how this woman is being judged yet that actor is walking around after trying to marry a 3rd wife. We need to work on equality for women.
Africa!!....this is sexual harassment now...when did a country start having dress code and mad men as enforcers? what has happened to freedom? The more the developed countries progress, the more Africa retrogress...when will the outright disrespect for humans, esp women stop...this is so disheartening...i cry for you Africa, My Africa
Harasment of any kind is totally unacceptable. However, I think it is high time some ladies realize that wearing skimpy outfits in public places subjects grown men and even children to a form of subtle psychological harasment, which in my opinion is even more abasing than physical harasment.
it all comes down to SEX.All this guyz in the video havent had sex in a very long time and they are taking it on this lady ."sex is the only fun poor people have" ( 2 broke girls ) and when thats gone this happens . what a big shame .
As much as I dont support what has been done to her, I simply agree with the saying you will be address the way you are dressed. Celebrities here too have gone wild in dressing, not considering that they are supposed to be role models. Linda you sef no b saint for this matter.
I really don't blame kemi omololu something(cant really remrmber her name well) who constantly call nigerians fools..i guess dis goes to say it all..some pple r just dump, illiterates, and uncivilized..i mean embarrasing a lady like a piece of animal without thinking that she's soneones wife,gf even a child to someone..she didnt steal and i damn knw dat there is aomething called freedom to do or act d way u want..those invvolved are simply illiterates..culture or no culture(FYI-i am a Nigerian)she certainly does not deserve such harrazment or disgrace..i can vouch for all those present there dat they cant try wat they did to this woman if she were to be a celeb..abd as for the idiots on this blog who says that she deserves everything they did to her,u are just hypocrites who just want ppl to blv dat u are holier than thou and that as an african we dont dress like dis..#sighs#which am sure thatmost of u here wear worse than dis..linda kindly post my comment(even though u dont post any of d previous ones)..wld check if u r truly loyal to ur fans..
I personally feel so embarrased for wat is being done to this Lady.I know its d senseless & disgusting maniacs {guys}dat spearheaded this nonsense.May ur wives, daughters & sisters be embarrased.ILLITERATES!!!Mtchewwwww.
Permit me to say my mind Linda, I like u but I'm afraid you go this one wrong. Posting this video here makes you look worse than those low lives. You are only Exposing the young lady's remains to the whole country, knowing a lot of people visit ur blog. I bet you would never do this to your relatives or friends. She's a woman just like u and u shouldn't posted this here. U saw what the older women did when they saw what was happening: they covered the young lady with a wrapper. I expected you to cover her embarrassing moment and keep it to yourself rather than showing it to the whole country to watch and have fun. I still like and would love you more if you post my comment. No offence.
This is terrible, in fact utterly disgusting....i mean it's her body she should be allowed to wear what she wants to without being harassed, i mean its her own damn body. If this were the uk or some other developed country, this won't happen, can't happen even. This is bullying of the highes order, may God forgive us all illeteracy is definetely a curse Although women should mind what they wear to certain areas because of predators and rapists.
There is something they call common sense and when you apply it to the way you dress you do not get into trouble. Nigerian ladies should dress appropriately . Just as you will look ridiculous in double wrapper and gele in a night club that is just the way you look like something is wrong with you when you wear skimpys on the street. They are not street clothes. The prostitutes do not get harassed because they are properly dressed for work. They don't go to the markets dressed like that. . So Ladies all your outfits have an acceptable place. When you do it right we know you are refined
I'm appalled by the backwardness of our country. Are u freaking kidding me? These perverts are actually enjoying the scene. what losers and illetrates. I applaud the girl for taking it like a champ though.Live and let live; it's 2013 for Crying out loud.
Linda, this happened in Lagos, at the Yaba market. Those guys over there are animals and they need to be taught a lesson. Its a pity this country is this fucked up. Sexual harassment going on like no man's business. I weep for my country.
The men harassing her are hungry men. Hungry men are always angry and frustrated. It doesn't take much to set them off. It could be a short dress, or a suspected thief, their reaction would have been the same - hurt the victim. Any example should be made of them. Serious jail time should make them sit up.
Some ladies won't listen or take caution if they are not treated that way,for crying out loud there are lots of preachings and posters about indecent dressing everywhere,so tell me why a full grown lady will not know dat she doesn't have to wear dis outside.pls I will stand for anything that can erase indecent dressing.and the worse of all is that its the gurls that are not mobile the dress stupidly the more.abeg pass the mic ojare
Lin lin it is not abuja. It is in abidjan(ivory coast). Heard d women speaking djula one of their local languages. *sigh datz my country sef. Women are nt allowed to dress like dat in most of d areas dere. I really pity d lady but she shld knw were to wear dat kind of dress to in abidjan
Ladies ought to know what to wear and where to wear dem to, it serves her right, wen u get to rome behave lik d romans, dnt bring westernisation to a place were its nt fully accepted
If they really wanted to pass a message across to her on dressing decently, then they shouldn't have been attempting to undress her. It shows they are simply deeply depraved, deviant animals!
The woman's dress was short but even at that, nobody has the right to do anything like that to her... Its really unfair and those horny bastard that wanted to see her pant they are fools and must be MASSACRED!!!
What happenend here is totaaly wrong u cannot bring in western culture in a place that does not accept it. Skimpy dressing is NOT civilization but the those guys acted uncivilized.
Have seen this before,it's totally unacceptable, they shouldn't have done that to her,but the girl shouldn't have worn that to the market,if she was clubbing, gbam,no problem, but for a public place in this our nigeria,ah,wahala dey oh,she's lucky,if she wore it to Onitsha Main Market, they will stone her with sachet water...chima.
wow!!! God must bless the angel that covered her... what a gesture from an old woman. As for the girl, if u live in a glass house, please don't throw stones.
Those men are perverts. Period. This should be unacceptable, unfortunately our society is quick backward when it come to protecting the rights of the weak. I'm surprised a few people are commenting that the girl has been embarrassed by this video! Shouldn't it be the men that should feel embarrassed? Such statements show the degree to which our value systems are quite twisted.
What is dis dumb lady wearing in day light, zero sense of dressing disgrace to woman hood, she's even cat walking in her shamelessness, dis is a prostitute no right thinkin lady would wear dis out n stand on d road,ve neva seen it. Rags for Gown. Mademoiselle
SMH, the dress was not even that short and plus she was wearing pantyhose. These guys just felt like harassing somebody that day. It is no joke what they did to her. TOTALLY WRONG what did they
This news is very old so please don't blame linda for adding to her embarrassment. it is Nigeria where rule of law doesn't work.it is very sad that pple that called themselves human beings are behaving like animals. I don't know what is their problems on what the girl wears. Why they molested the girl is because they knew that the law of the country is not working. this is abuse or even I can call it rape in broad day light.it is very bad and need to be addressed. we have many touts and illiterates in Nigerian that is the cause. a reasonable d and decent man will not be so low to peep on women's buttocks, touts and some men in Nigeria needs orientation
Nigeria aint no Jamaica this is Africa. In the middle east they have a dress code when you go to Dubai you cant dress anyhow so as much as im sorry for the harassment she suffered MEN!! she was Naked that top abi dress was sooo short LINda biko no support yeye tin. Linda I haven't seen you wear such an outfit ever!!!
Part of the reasons why our dear country is slowly developing . I believe that there are other ways to make her understand she was not dressed decently enough. Mad men- wasted generation.
wow! this is just vile and totally unacceptable. illiteracy is a bastard!jeez

ReplyDeleteWat sort of rubbish is this? This is bullying on d highest level. Wat d hell is their business if she wearz a short dress. Nigerianz mehnnnn.. Smh seriously.. Very very unfair.
ReplyDeleteThis is old linda and this was in warri!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not Abuja. i am sure it happened in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). Somebody was saying in broken French: "leave her, don't do this leave her". And the women were saying in their local language "we beg you, stop this". That language is called Diula and is spoken by a 100% Muslim ethnic group in the northern part of Ivory Coast. Sad indeed.
ReplyDeleteNigeria is such a crazy place, mehnn! It is a place where anything goes. If our law enforcement agents were efficient and incorruptible, this video is enough for them to track down these animals and potential rapists and deal with the severely. Unfortunately, the reverse is the case.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is very sad. Y should people act like dat. I don't support them bt at the same time, she should know the kind of clothes she should wear when going to such places. I feel for her.
ReplyDeleteExtremely uncivilised!!!r d fools stripping her any better?
DeleteReally uncalled for......but very stale video......
ReplyDeleteBtw, first †̥ comment !!!
She has d right dres d way she want
ReplyDeleteWow!Nigeria has a long way to go..this is so sad
ReplyDeleteSOME DRESSES ARE NOT MEANT FOR PUBLIC PLACES.... DRESS ACCORDING TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT PLEASE
ReplyDeleteUppercase isn't not meant for every occasion... Write to suit the reader please.
DeleteDis is an old video naa. It happened long ago
ReplyDeleteROFL! I swear I don't know what to say. Painfully embarrassing, I presume but she wanted to be naked and they helped her.
ReplyDeleteAbeg shut up. Eleribu
DeleteThe men are all disturbed... What sort of country is Nigeria abeg
ReplyDeletei think this was somewhere in abuja..guess its to serve as a deterrent because i dont know what she was thinking but i am not justifying the action
ReplyDeletei am indifferent about wearing skimpy clothings, i do not wear them myself but whoever has to wear it has to wear in places where stuff like that are being worn. like abroad (i don lokk tire esp when i first got here) and if you must wear in naija, make sure you have a car or going out in a car to places where you will meet ppl with same dress sense as you. All these agberos no send you o!
ReplyDeleteLinda if u re just seeing dis then u no gbeborun reach me o,although d dress was too short bt it was nobody's bus.and does touts just took advantage of her really
ReplyDeleteHaba wat arrant nonsense is dis? I knw wat she wore is completely wrong esp in d day time, but who gave dose freaking idiots d right to harass her. It's just nt right on any level..they were even ready to naked her. Not right @ all
ReplyDeleteWooh that's too bad
ReplyDeleteGosh!those boys are callous..!!!..look at them;just like vultures...God bless the woman that gave her a cloth.
ReplyDelete№ω dis is really bad.do its was an immodest dressing bur she shouldn't be treated dis way.so wrong for nigerians to behave ĩ̷̊ñ such manner
ReplyDeleteHa'a now linda dis's an old video na,i ve watched it since last year
ReplyDeleteSaw dis video last year and de said it happened in Benin(Edo state)...I don't support d way she was harrassed and I defnatly don't support d way she is dressed.
ReplyDeleteGawd! Ds is so embarrasing
ReplyDeleteFeeling 4 d gal.
This is barbaric.. what the fuck? fucking animals, only in Nigeria. why would you harass a woman like that? I am so pissed.
ReplyDeletehttp://uberchicmichi.com
This is barbaric, totally wrong. But d girl sef find trouble, how can u, in broad daylight dress like dat in such an area and don't expect to be lynched. Msheeeew
ReplyDeleteLinda I have watched this before and I was filled wit rage..
ReplyDeleteDis is very bad!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so wrong....haba. I don't believe this actually happened in this time and day...very soon people will start stoning people to death.

ReplyDeleteI just wanna cry.....
ReplyDeleteNaija is a fucked fucked country, I'm so pissed right now with this video.

And for those ppl that will say she deserved what she got, pray and hope crap like this never happens to someone close to you.
ReplyDeleteDis is very wrong n its not Abuja at all,it shuld be Aba or Onitsha
ReplyDeleteFor goodness sake, what are human beings turning into? Everyone now want jungle justice, If only we can at least think twice that she is my sister, mother, aunt, niece or even wife and tell her with the love of God to go home and change, then that is LOVE and the best way to handle this, and not to disgrace her and take advantage of her publicly. Humans are becoming cruel. I pity her. Indeed, common sense is not really common. Let's grow up people!
ReplyDeleteGod bless u my bro!
DeleteHaba, Nigerians get a life! Stop all these harassment and abuse of women all around the place. This is an absolute insanity of the highest order.

ReplyDeleteThings like this video make me ashamed to be Nigerian. Stoning gays to death, undressing "scantily clad" women on the street, basing politics on religion...the list goes on. What is the point of undressing someone you think isn't dressed enough?
ReplyDeleteThank God for a blue passport!
I really pity this lady o.linda u cld ve cover her face on ur blog o.u added more trouble.if it was uk all this ppl will rot in JAIL.EVEN U LINDA
ReplyDeletethis is just unruly, and totally unacceptable... like wtf .. are these men for real, and they came out of a woman's hole and they are treating a woman like this, their mothers and daughters will not know peace for what they have done... goodness, hwat is your business with the short dress this lady wore.. take note she also wore tights underneath, but thses fucked up beasts just wanted to cause trouble and allow devil to use them... this for sure has brought generational curse upon their generation. s/o to the women that were there for her.. GOD BLESS THEM...
ReplyDeleteOh pls, there are things u can wear to d mall not market, africa isnt america or uk,on no occassion should u wear that to a local region,u will be disgraced.thats a top not dress,
ReplyDeletepeople like Anonymous 8.43pm,9.14pm and balls* are part of the whole nigeria problem- saying I DONT SUPPORT HOW SHE WAS TREATED BUT IT SHOULD BE A LESSON TO OTHERS....YOU HAVE THE SAME MIND SET OF THE MUSLIM EXTREMISTS IF IT ISN'T THE WAY I THINK IS OKAY THEN I HAVE TO HARASS THE PERSON OR KILL THE PERSON. its just disgusting even if she chooses to wear bikini as people in EUROPE do, TURN YOUR EYES AWAY OR PLUCK THEM OUT IF YOU SO WISH. Nigeria has a long way to go. DAVE
ReplyDeleteI still don't get it..were they trying to dicourage indecency by exposing her indecently?.Really stupid
ReplyDeleteThey were speaking my langauge (djula) this happened in either cote d'ivoire or guinea. Women are nt allowed to wear this kind of dress in many parts of cote d'ivoire or guinea.
ReplyDeleteLinda dont you know the languages in your country anymore, and how does that look like Abuja. This is definitely not Nigeria... and you didn't have to post this by the way.
ReplyDeleteit's just like Asa said ' let he that is without stone throw the first stone' - my comment.
ReplyDeleteNigerians are truly animals..especially the men. WTF??!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless that woman that gave her the wrapper... these people are barbaric! who are we to judge?! its a pity how they feel justified to put the poor girl through this kind of ordeal in public while they go behind to do all sorts of dirty and despicable things! God help us!... and to all of you saying she deserves it... just wait, you'll be spoon-fed with your own medicine.
ReplyDeleteKing Tee.
Thats not Nigeria Mr Olu
ReplyDeleteWhy are some Nigerians so ignorant and out of touch with civilization? Chai! I feel so embarrassed for the girl. Girls in Nigeria need to protect themselves against people like this. Totally unacceptable on so many levels.I suggest girls start carrying pepper spray and Taser.
ReplyDeleteMeeh!!! What they did to her is wrong. What the heck ?Insulting her would have been enough. People pls don't go to the market place with skimpy clothes. To make it worse she even wore a transparent leggings. seriously? She caused it for herself anyways.
ReplyDeleteSick society.
ReplyDeleteAhnn ahnn Aunty linda dis video is old nah, seen it since last year.
ReplyDeleteWTH!!!!! this is totally unacceptable.
ReplyDeleteLinda, u're not helping the situation by publicizing this video u know!!!
ReplyDeletei think you should not have posted this video, can't you just have reported the story??
ReplyDeleteshe has learnt her lesson, nobody 'll tell her hw 2 dress well

ReplyDeleteSecond,d ppl in dis vid are obviously animals who do not av respect 4 demselves not to mention dem respecting d opposite sex.having said dis @all d anonymous dat left sex-related comment abt karen's outfit n d sweating, u are not different 4rm dese animals abusing dis ladies.I hope one day d Nigerian Youth wld learn to correct one anoda in luv.
PS-dis is 4 d sensible one's.Thanks.
Hahahaha.... LWKm!!! She for kukuma wear bikini
ReplyDeleteAnon 9:14 u both are big fools!
ReplyDeleteWat happened 2 the lady is unacceptable, regardless of her profession. She's not d problem of Nigeria, wat a pity I feel 4 her!
ReplyDeleteAll these horny hypocritical African men, our problem on a general scale na ignorance & sheer stupidity.
ReplyDeleteI am very shocked at the comments of the LIB readers.
ReplyDeletewhat exactly is our society turning to?God help us.this is so sad even if she walked out of the house naked there is no reason for such embarrassment.all this touts in naija.
ReplyDeleteD babe no sabi run?????
ReplyDeleteOk she wore a short black dress n a black hos underneath.Wats wrong wit her dressing??I guess d weda was hot too she wanted to b free.I blame her 4 dulling hersef.2 dull 4 my likin so u didn't see bottle or anytin sharp to burst head...abeg abeg abeg
ReplyDeleteThe worst part is that she was even wearing leggings underneath so technically she was covered. I personal was not seeing anything and i think the people should get in trouble for sexual assault. Sad country we live in. Look at how this woman is being judged yet that actor is walking around after trying to marry a 3rd wife. We need to work on equality for women.
ReplyDeleteGud 4 her
ReplyDeleteLand of pontificators and hypocrites.
ReplyDeletevery bad. too barbaric. police should look for them and arrest such people. is too bad
ReplyDeleteAfrica!!....this is sexual harassment now...when did a country start having dress code and mad men as enforcers? what has happened to freedom? The more the developed countries progress, the more Africa retrogress...when will the outright disrespect for humans, esp women stop...this is so disheartening...i cry for you Africa, My Africa
ReplyDeleteHarasment of any kind is totally unacceptable. However, I think it is high time some ladies realize that wearing skimpy outfits in public places subjects grown men and even children to a form of subtle psychological harasment, which in my opinion is even more abasing than physical harasment.
ReplyDeleteit all comes down to SEX.All this guyz in the video havent had sex in a very long time and they are taking it on this lady ."sex is the only fun poor people have" ( 2 broke girls ) and when thats gone this happens .
ReplyDeletewhat a big shame .
chai what is this ooo stupidity plus illiteracy naija ooo kai.
ReplyDeleteVery barbaric!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really old video and it's not even in Nigeria
ReplyDeleteAs much as I dont support what has been done to her, I simply agree with the saying you will be address the way you are dressed. Celebrities here too have gone wild in dressing, not considering that they are supposed to be role models. Linda you sef no b saint for this matter.
ReplyDeleteI really don't blame kemi omololu something(cant really remrmber her name well) who constantly call nigerians fools..i guess dis goes to say it all..some pple r just dump, illiterates, and uncivilized..i mean embarrasing a lady like a piece of animal without thinking that she's soneones wife,gf even a child to someone..she didnt steal and i damn knw dat there is aomething called freedom to do or act d way u want..those invvolved are simply illiterates..culture or no culture(FYI-i am a Nigerian)she certainly does not deserve such harrazment or disgrace..i can vouch for all those present there dat they cant try wat they did to this woman if she were to be a celeb..abd as for the idiots on this blog who says that she deserves everything they did to her,u are just hypocrites who just want ppl to blv dat u are holier than thou and that as an african we dont dress like dis..#sighs#which am sure thatmost of u here wear worse than dis..linda kindly post my comment(even though u dont post any of d previous ones)..wld check if u r truly loyal to ur fans..
ReplyDeleteI personally feel so embarrased for wat is being done to this Lady.I know its d senseless & disgusting maniacs {guys}dat spearheaded this nonsense.May ur wives, daughters & sisters be embarrased.ILLITERATES!!!Mtchewwwww.
ReplyDeletePermit me to say my mind Linda, I like u but I'm afraid you go this one wrong. No offence.
ReplyDeleteThis is terrible, in fact utterly disgusting....i mean it's her body she should be allowed to wear what she wants to without being harassed, i mean its her own damn body. If this were the uk or some other developed country, this won't happen, can't happen even. This is bullying of the highes order, may God forgive us all illeteracy is definetely a curse Although women should mind what they wear to certain areas because of predators and rapists.
ReplyDeleteThere is something they call common sense and when you apply it to the way you dress you do not get into trouble.
ReplyDeleteFor all of u dah said she deserved wot she got, may ur rights not be taken away frm u publicly. Fucktards oshi
ReplyDeleteIt's an old video and it happened in Accra.
ReplyDeleteI cnt watch,I almost cried 4 her cnt imagine wot I wlda done if it wz me,wnt come out of my house 4 a mnth.so shameful,God punish those ppl
ReplyDeleteI'm appalled by the backwardness of our country. Are u freaking kidding me? These perverts are actually enjoying the scene. what losers and illetrates. I applaud the girl for taking it like a champ though.Live and let live; it's 2013 for Crying out loud.
ReplyDeleteLinda, this happened in Lagos, at the Yaba market. Those guys over there are animals and they need to be taught a lesson. Its a pity this country is this fucked up. Sexual harassment going on like no man's business. I weep for my country.
ReplyDeleteTufiakwa for these useless Nigerians!!!! Backward vagabonds!
ReplyDeleteThank God for those women who shielded and clothed her. Gosh!
The men harassing her are hungry men. Hungry men are always angry and frustrated. It doesn't take much to set them off. It could be a short dress, or a suspected thief, their reaction would have been the same - hurt the victim.
ReplyDeleteAny example should be made of them. Serious jail time should make them sit up.
Old vid very old like dec
ReplyDeleteSome ladies won't listen or take caution if they are not treated that way,for crying out loud there are lots of preachings and posters about indecent dressing everywhere,so tell me why a full grown lady will not know dat she doesn't have to wear dis outside.pls I will stand for anything that can erase indecent dressing.and the worse of all is that its the gurls that are not mobile the dress stupidly the more.abeg pass the mic ojare
ReplyDeleteLin lin it is not abuja. It is in abidjan(ivory coast). Heard d women speaking djula one of their local languages. *sigh datz my country sef. Women are nt allowed to dress like dat in most of d areas dere. I really pity d lady but she shld knw were to wear dat kind of dress to in abidjan
ReplyDeleteLadies ought to know what to wear and where to wear dem to, it serves her right, wen u get to rome behave lik d romans, dnt bring westernisation to a place were its nt fully accepted
ReplyDeleteThis is bad.. Harrasing her won't change a thing. Nigerians we've had a very negative sense of doin d right thing..
ReplyDeleteIf they really wanted to pass a message across to her on dressing decently, then they shouldn't have been attempting to undress her. It shows they are simply deeply depraved, deviant animals!
ReplyDeleteThe woman's dress was short but even at that, nobody has the right to do anything like that to her... Its really unfair and those horny bastard that wanted to see her pant they are fools and must be MASSACRED!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat happenend here is totaaly wrong u cannot bring in western culture in a place that does not accept it. Skimpy dressing is NOT civilization but the those guys acted uncivilized.
ReplyDeleteHave seen this before,it's totally unacceptable, they shouldn't have done that to her,but the girl shouldn't have worn that to the market,if she was clubbing, gbam,no problem, but for a public place in this our nigeria,ah,wahala dey oh,she's lucky,if she wore it to Onitsha Main Market, they will stone her with sachet water...chima.
ReplyDeletethis is rubbish on the highest level...ha,the disrespect is too much..except if she's like a known street walker...
ReplyDeleteshe even have fish nets worn- ( that's supposed to make d dress look not as short-- right?)
I don't think its right on any level.Seem like Most of them were doing if for their own amusement
stupid men, no one has any right to harass a woman for wearing what she sees fit. It is her body, bloody morons!
ReplyDeleteThose men are bastards and they will suffer terribly in life. It is obvious they are rapists!
ReplyDeleteSexual assault! This is so very wrong.those men r barbarians n she did not deserve dis no matter wat she wore. Just sayin...
ReplyDeletewow!!! God must bless the angel that covered her... what a gesture from an old woman. As for the girl, if u live in a glass house, please don't throw stones.
ReplyDeleteNigerians are even supposed to be wearing skimpy clothes cos of our hot weather....oya make una begin to yab me, I don talk my own from my heart.
ReplyDeleteOgazi China
RELAX MY NIGERIAN PEOPLE...THIS ISNT NIGERIA AT ALL...LOL....ABIDJAN .....
ReplyDeleteThose men are perverts.

ReplyDeleteSMH, the dress was not even that short and plus she was wearing pantyhose. These guys just felt like harassing somebody that day. It is no joke what they did to her. TOTALLY WRONG what did they
ReplyDeleteThis news is very old so please don't blame linda for adding to her embarrassment. it is Nigeria where rule of law doesn't work.it is very sad that pple that called themselves human beings are behaving like animals.

ReplyDeletePart of the reasons why our dear country is slowly developing . I believe that there are other ways to make her understand she was not dressed decently enough. Mad men- wasted generation.
