Video: Lady harassed for wearing short dress

I don't know where this happened. The lady was seriously harassed for wearing a skimpy dress. Watch the video and tell us what you think. I personally do not support what was done to this woman. You are free to disagree...watch!

    2. My God am so speechless, what would the westerners say if they see such a video?that's why my white gf said she can never follow me back to nigeria cos she has heard so many horrible things about my country, and I can't really say I blame her,cos most of them if not all are noting but the truth.

    3. So so wrong!!!! Why do people behave so barbaric? Are men done for the same when they wear sagging pants showing half their ass? This is straight up wrong...
This is a form of discrimination! Because it is like wearing traditional Nigerian clothes maybe in Europe and been assulated for your choice of dressing! If people minded their own business and worried about their own dressing it would reduce this kind of stupidity!!!
Yes the dress is abit short but so what? If she is comfortable allow her to wear it. Sexually deprived hood rats always quick to take any opportunity to harass women! Their flicking dicks should all be chopped of so maybe then they will think with their brains! Utter crap. NKT

There are certain neighborhoods where women can't freely wear what they want...This is probably happening in Abobo (some retarded district in Abidjan...)

  14. Definitely not Abuja. i am sure it happened in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). Somebody was saying in broken French: "leave her, don't do this leave her". And the women were saying in their local language "we beg you, stop this". That language is called Diula and is spoken by a 100% Muslim ethnic group in the northern part of Ivory Coast. Sad indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Nigeria is such a crazy place, mehnn! It is a place where anything goes. If our law enforcement agents were efficient and incorruptible, this video is enough for them to track down these animals and potential rapists and deal with the severely. Unfortunately, the reverse is the case.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Wow, this is very sad. Y should people act like dat. I don't support them bt at the same time, she should know the kind of clothes she should wear when going to such places. I feel for her.

  25. i am indifferent about wearing skimpy clothings, i do not wear them myself but whoever has to wear it has to wear in places where stuff like that are being worn. like abroad (i don lokk tire esp when i first got here) and if you must wear in naija, make sure you have a car or going out in a car to places where you will meet ppl with same dress sense as you. All these agberos no send you o!

  36. Linda I have watched this before and I was filled wit rage.. Lik how can people in their rite mind harass this girl like this... Theyought to be arrested.. Anyone that respect his mum and sisters at home can not do this kind of thing..it is barbaric... I know some people will justify it by saying she deserved it for wearing skimpy clothe, but dnt forgt its her body.. She is free to wear whatever she feel lik wearing and u can't tell me ur sisters dnt wear skimpy tins atleast when they are at home, why dnt u pounce on her and devour her and steip her naked and then tell people she deserved it for wearing skimpy clothe... This action to me is not different from rape... We shudnt go abt harassing the weaker sex we ought to protect as the stronger sex

Everyone now want jungle justice, If only we can at least think twice that she is my sister, mother, aunt, niece or even wife and tell her with the love of God to go home and change, then that is LOVE and the best way to handle this, and not to disgrace her and take advantage of her publicly. Humans are becoming cruel. I pity her. Indeed, common sense is not really common. Let's grow up people!

  117. All these horny hypocritical African men, our problem on a general scale na ignorance & sheer stupidity.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I am very shocked at the comments of the LIB readers. How retarted and barbaric for ANYONE to blame the lady for what she is wearing. WTF do yall mean by she should know where she is going to so she shouldnt dress a certain way. If you and the idiots who embarassed her dont like what she has on, how is it any of your business to assault her. Its no wonder why Nigeria is in the state that its in. Nigeria is filled with IDIOTS! The poor chick has on tights underneath her dress. I am baffled at the comments ive read so far because i know majority of yall dress worse! This has absolutely nothing to do with bringing westernized culture to Nigeria or Africa, it is simple common sense and respect for all. Every human being deserves to be treated better and the sooner you illiterates learn that, the better for Nigeria.

  122. The worst part is that she was even wearing leggings underneath so technically she was covered. I personal was not seeing anything and i think the people should get in trouble for sexual assault. Sad country we live in. Look at how this woman is being judged yet that actor is walking around after trying to marry a 3rd wife. We need to work on equality for women.

  125. Africa!!....this is sexual harassment now...when did a country start having dress code and mad men as enforcers? what has happened to freedom? The more the developed countries progress, the more Africa retrogress...when will the outright disrespect for humans, esp women stop...this is so disheartening...i cry for you Africa, My Africa

  126. Harasment of any kind is totally unacceptable. However, I think it is high time some ladies realize that wearing skimpy outfits in public places subjects grown men and even children to a form of subtle psychological harasment, which in my opinion is even more abasing than physical harasment.

    ReplyDelete
  127. it all comes down to SEX.All this guyz in the video havent had sex in a very long time and they are taking it on this lady ."sex is the only fun poor people have" ( 2 broke girls ) and when thats gone this happens .

  130. As much as I dont support what has been done to her, I simply agree with the saying you will be address the way you are dressed. Celebrities here too have gone wild in dressing, not considering that they are supposed to be role models. Linda you sef no b saint for this matter.

  131. I really don't blame kemi omololu something(cant really remrmber her name well) who constantly call nigerians fools..i guess dis goes to say it all..some pple r just dump, illiterates, and uncivilized..i mean embarrasing a lady like a piece of animal without thinking that she's soneones wife,gf even a child to someone..she didnt steal and i damn knw dat there is aomething called freedom to do or act d way u want..those invvolved are simply illiterates..culture or no culture(FYI-i am a Nigerian)she certainly does not deserve such harrazment or disgrace..i can vouch for all those present there dat they cant try wat they did to this woman if she were to be a celeb..abd as for the idiots on this blog who says that she deserves everything they did to her,u are just hypocrites who just want ppl to blv dat u are holier than thou and that as an african we dont dress like dis..#sighs#which am sure thatmost of u here wear worse than dis..linda kindly post my comment(even though u dont post any of d previous ones)..wld check if u r truly loyal to ur fans..

    ReplyDelete
  133. Permit me to say my mind Linda, I like u but I'm afraid you go this one wrong. Posting this video here makes you look worse than those low lives. You are only Exposing the young lady's remains to the whole country, knowing a lot of people visit ur blog. I bet you would never do this to your relatives or friends. She's a woman just like u and u shouldn't posted this here. U saw what the older women did when they saw what was happening: they covered the young lady with a wrapper. I expected you to cover her embarrassing moment and keep it to yourself rather than showing it to the whole country to watch and have fun. I still like and would love you more if you post my comment. No offence.

  134. This is terrible, in fact utterly disgusting....i mean it's her body she should be allowed to wear what she wants to without being harassed, i mean its her own damn body. If this were the uk or some other developed country, this won't happen, can't happen even. This is bullying of the highes order, may God forgive us all illeteracy is definetely a curse Although women should mind what they wear to certain areas because of predators and rapists.

    ReplyDelete
  135. There is something they call common sense and when you apply it to the way you dress you do not get into trouble. Nigerian ladies should dress appropriately . Just as you will look ridiculous in double wrapper and gele in a night club that is just the way you look like something is wrong with you when you wear skimpys on the street. They are not street clothes. The prostitutes do not get harassed because they are properly dressed for work. They don't go to the markets dressed like that. . So Ladies all your outfits have an acceptable place. When you do it right we know you are refined

    ReplyDelete
  136. For all of u dah said she deserved wot she got, may ur rights not be taken away frm u publicly. Fucktards oshi

  140. Linda, this happened in Lagos, at the Yaba market. Those guys over there are animals and they need to be taught a lesson. Its a pity this country is this fucked up. Sexual harassment going on like no man's business. I weep for my country.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Tufiakwa for these useless Nigerians!!!! Backward vagabonds!

Thank God for those women who shielded and clothed her. Gosh!

    ReplyDelete
  142. The men harassing her are hungry men. Hungry men are always angry and frustrated. It doesn't take much to set them off. It could be a short dress, or a suspected thief, their reaction would have been the same - hurt the victim.
Any example should be made of them. Serious jail time should make them sit up.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Some ladies won't listen or take caution if they are not treated that way,for crying out loud there are lots of preachings and posters about indecent dressing everywhere,so tell me why a full grown lady will not know dat she doesn't have to wear dis outside.pls I will stand for anything that can erase indecent dressing.and the worse of all is that its the gurls that are not mobile the dress stupidly the more.abeg pass the mic ojare

    ReplyDelete
  144. Lin lin it is not abuja. It is in abidjan(ivory coast). Heard d women speaking djula one of their local languages. *sigh datz my country sef. Women are nt allowed to dress like dat in most of d areas dere. I really pity d lady but she shld knw were to wear dat kind of dress to in abidjan

  145. Ladies ought to know what to wear and where to wear dem to, it serves her right, wen u get to rome behave lik d romans, dnt bring westernisation to a place were its nt fully accepted

    ReplyDelete
  146. This is bad.. Harrasing her won't change a thing. Nigerians we've had a very negative sense of doin d right thing..

    ReplyDelete
  147. If they really wanted to pass a message across to her on dressing decently, then they shouldn't have been attempting to undress her. It shows they are simply deeply depraved, deviant animals!

    ReplyDelete
  148. The woman's dress was short but even at that, nobody has the right to do anything like that to her... Its really unfair and those horny bastard that wanted to see her pant they are fools and must be MASSACRED!!!

    ReplyDelete
  149. What happenend here is totaaly wrong u cannot bring in western culture in a place that does not accept it. Skimpy dressing is NOT civilization but the those guys acted uncivilized.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Have seen this before,it's totally unacceptable, they shouldn't have done that to her,but the girl shouldn't have worn that to the market,if she was clubbing, gbam,no problem, but for a public place in this our nigeria,ah,wahala dey oh,she's lucky,if she wore it to Onitsha Main Market, they will stone her with sachet water...chima.

    ReplyDelete
  151. this is rubbish on the highest level...ha,the disrespect is too much..except if she's like a known street walker...

    ReplyDelete
  158. Those men are perverts. Period. This should be unacceptable, unfortunately our society is quick backward when it come to protecting the rights of the weak. I'm surprised a few people are commenting that the girl has been embarrassed by this video! Shouldn't it be the men that should feel embarrassed? Such statements show the degree to which our value systems are quite twisted.

    ReplyDelete
  163. This news is very old so please don't blame linda for adding to her embarrassment. it is Nigeria where rule of law doesn't work.it is very sad that pple that called themselves human beings are behaving like animals. I don't know what is their problems on what the girl wears. Why they molested the girl is because they knew that the law of the country is not working. this is abuse or even I can call it rape in broad day light.it is very bad and need to be addressed. we have many touts and illiterates in Nigerian that is the cause. a reasonable d and decent man will not be so low to peep on women's buttocks, touts and some men in Nigeria needs orientation

    ReplyDelete
