Left is a photo of the British Prime Minister David Cameron standing on a train. And the photo on the right is the PM with his wife,
Samantha Cameron at a train station, carrying their own suitcases.
I'm not comparing o...just showing you how other world leaders roll. Well, they don't have kidnapping issues so...we understand:-)
Abeg all na eye service jare!
ReplyDeleteNot in Naija o. Lol.
DeleteEven TerryG cannot do this, how much more our leaders.
Did you guys see his security at AYlive? I wonder where he got those scary human beings from.
Meet TerryG's scary bodyguards
Eye service or not they can do it that's d most important thing. Foto ops, YES but thru the foto ops do he's getting in touch with everyday people. Unlike our pot bellied rulers fly private jets, convoy, helicopters n shit, surrounding themselves with liars who tell them its ok out there n all kinds of crap they want to hear. Theses arseholes have been stealing from us for decades thay can't believe people are starving. EYE SERVICE MY ARSE, that PUBLIC SERVICE dear!!!!!!
DeleteHere in Naija, if u make mistake seat near any senator or honourable member, let's say for church service, d way dem go kip nose like say u (common man) dey smell, it baffles me.
DeleteThey can't even enter d normal public trans, let alone train. Are u a learner ???
Their sins are pursuing them away from any other ordinary Nigerian. Afterall it was dem dat inculcated ds kidnapping ideas in our innocent youths now gon badt. All dose dia fraudulent elections dat they won, how do u think they do it? They n their families do not enjoy free movements like us d common Niaja man. Sins of the Father.....hmmmmmm!!!
David Cameroon, I dey hail sir. Even if to say na show wey u dey show, u try. Bcus for my country, none of ds big politician go fit try am. Dem no dey fear ??? Hahahahaaaaa.
Daz life for u.
@ "proudly lesbian"is a dude ladies and gentlemen pls be wary of him,the guy is up to no good.
DeleteIts not fool-proof oh,Linda!
DeleteTrust me,that train station has got secret service littered everywhere, don't be fooled!Even that guy sleeping may have been pretending!
The difference is that they probabLy wanted to experience the train service for some reason or had to get somewhere fast and since blowing siren like Nigeria is not an option, they chose the train ride.
At d end of d day,its politics!
Humility is their way of life. Couple of yrs bck,I was on same Underground train wit d Mayor of London and he wz like evry oda person. They av nothing to fear unlike our leaders dt have dirts on their hands and even head sef.its no biggie to them
Deleteabeg e! even before kidnapping issues became major, lindastic ikejegbish u and I know that our government parastatals can pack committee and cheerleaders follow body even if na their wife mama dem de go visit. mschew
ReplyDeleteTHAT IS WHY SUCH COUNTIRES PROGRESS! If it was Naija..dey wud hav had bodyguards and servants carrying their bags...makin everyoda person feel poor! they wud hav even bounced the folks sitting down. ofwhich im sure pipl wud hav offered to let him sit, but he wud hav said no! can a Nigerian Politician or Minister evn enta a train? Let alone a presidnt..they wud hav rented a convoy..and dats wat our STUPID celbrity are copying..Arrogance and Prideful folks evrywer!.its just sad!
ReplyDeleteBullshit, it's NOT humility, it's a photo opportunity. Spare me that crap linda! We in London know how these people roll. Wait and see how the British media will yap him!!
ReplyDeleteI dey naija and I am with u on this. Who says there are no bodyguards? There high tech spyware and intelligence stuff protecting this guy even if u don't c anyone closeby. As for humility well I concede becos the citizens there know what many of us dont- a public servant is just that- our servant. They should defer to the electorate and not the other way round
DeleteAnon 5.01 ? What da hell are you saying? The mayor of London lives in my area and he rides a bicycle to work everyday !! What crappy area do you leave in London ? Stop being ignorant!
DeleteLiar!!!!!what part of london are u in?????stop displaying ignorance in public....it stinks!u wan form say u knw pass Linda.she obviously didnt take the pix herself.famzat!!!
DeleteI live in London u fool I'm sure u live in Peckham or Brixton cuz us in central London c this all d time
DeleteAs for you Mr We in London.. you don't get the difference, can any of ur naija leader get on BRT abi keke maruwa..
DeleteCus am in London too and I know how the people roll
They spend their Money Wisely..and they are depicting Leadership by example. Where in Nigeria do u want to find this? have they finished believing that everyone is afta dem? God help us!
ReplyDeleteEven if GEJ decides to do same one day! Trust nigerians they will say make e go sidon! who is he deceiving.....so what's d essences of him bothering himself to show humility! he just wouldn't bother!
DeleteMs Linda...U shud ask what CAUSED the KIDNAPPING that is going on today? Nigeria is really messed up and a disgraceful nation. The leaders are the cause of every bad thing happening in it! so what r u on about?! hiss!
ReplyDeletekidnapping or no kidnapping....Nigerians are proud. our leaders7celebrities will never try this home/abroad.
ReplyDelete@lwkmd_naija
Lol Linda it's kinda not humility. But a way of life. Do you wat him to drive to where he's going and get a pile of congestion charge... I don't think so! However, he is pretty humble he just needs to stop cutting all the damn benefits kmt
ReplyDeleteThat is leadership. Even if there's no kidnapping and all, most of our leaders here are too arrogant. Except for the Governor of example HE Babatunde Fashola. Even our president can't travel by road from Abuja to Kogi. We still have a long way to go in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteAll na packagn @ d end Æ’ d day, bt its CÆ ̴̴̴̴͡.̮Æ ̴͡L anyway
ReplyDeleteLol.. We are so worlds apart Linda, apart from the security issues, Nigerians love pompousness! Simplicity is afar off in our facet.
ReplyDeleteLinda we must compare ooo. Ok let's make a mental pic of Oga Jona in a molue bus #IfAhear.
ReplyDeleteBtw Darl iz 1st 2 comment, yay!!!
Which stupid humility.maybe his legs were hurting after sitting for a long time and he decided to stand. He is a big time racist, putting in all effort to send black people back to their countries
ReplyDeleteDo you blame him for wanting to send them back? When some of you blacks behave like he-goats...and hw does tht make him racist? When nigerians threw ghana out where they being racist? Dumb head
DeleteRily Humility @ its peak!
ReplyDeletepublicity stunt
ReplyDeleteLinda ode. Can't you see these images are doctored? There's an ever so slight disparity between head and body.
ReplyDeleteEgbon ode, biko explain wat images are 'doctored' mean? Anumpam, u cldnt jst comment, had to add 'ode' ori e foka
DeleteSerious!.. No local government chairman for 9ja can even do this!.. Wow!.. Humility in its finest indeed!
ReplyDeleteIt's one thing I admire so much about the British Secret Security Services.
ReplyDeleteYou would be amazed to learn how totally maxxed out security will be around him.
On that train, In that train station.
But they do it with so much sophistication.
I really like the British approach.
Either ways Linda shame on Nigeria . British prime minister stands in the train, shows he's humble, a virtue totally absent in all our leaders. So England is safer than Nigeria....isn't that as a result of good leadership....With the level of insecurity in Nigeria, no leader is advised to board a train or any public transports for that matter...who made our country insecure? who should ensure security???
ReplyDeleteCo-passenger are all MI6 undercover agents. E easy? Well its a good PR stunt sha. It makes holding public office less glamorous and reduces attempt to be corrupt.
ReplyDeleteNow this is leadership.....a leader remembers that he's still part of the people. Trust Nigerians....once they get in to a seat of power of some sort...they assume thy're above everyone else...ugh.
ReplyDeleteInshort, our leaders are not humble.
ReplyDeleteYou should have gone straight to the point.
Its true anyways.
Its in Nigeria that you'd see a LG chairman with a convoy as long as a train.
Still this same Nigeria that you'd see a councillor fighting for money extolled from motorists.
Forget kidnappings, its only God that protects.
Even if you got the whole Nigerian army around you.
If you go die, you go die.
Bunch of lunatics.
Kinapping has notin to do wit humility even b4 d kidnappin ish started non of our leaders is as humble as ds PM is @least mk dem dey carry deir luggage demsefs, even deir purse sef dem no dey carry, nyways na dem sabi d tinkin of a white man is quite diff frm dat of a black man....Mcheeeeeeeeew to niaja leaders
ReplyDeleteMy dear purse too big sef, even phone dem no dey fit hold... Smh
DeleteNa our fault joor. We too much idolise our public servants. Too many praise singers, too many arm thrift.
ReplyDeleteD diff is clear na
ReplyDeleteRochas Okorocha is a humble man...i recently stumbled upon a pix of him helping to push a bad truck out of the road...he's a humble lad.
ReplyDeleteAbeg, shift go one side wt ur local thug, rochas okorocha
DeleteVery humble! Wld defo vote for him if he contests for presidency
DeleteSo we should?
Deleteplease i hope our own rulers r seeing this........ instead of gallivanting with convoys. smh.
ReplyDeleteplease i hope our own rulers r seeing this........ instead of gallivanting with convoys. smh.
ReplyDeleteYou forget to know they do not have tribal and religious virus that made us to be in the state of insecurity we are today..mind you that before he went on that train his security aids are there already...please our society is filled with enemies even you linda can not walk free on street..
ReplyDeleteIt is a normal thing we see. This isn't new. Even the mayor of London uses the train sometimes so really no big deal.
ReplyDeleteThank you....its only abnormal in nigeria
Deletein the words of eldee, "all na wash"...
ReplyDeleteDon't be a dummy dear! The big millionaires in my area ride bicycles to work and take train everyday ! They are that HUMBLE!!
DeleteLol...linda ooo na so e suppose b buh 9ja is vry diff
ReplyDeleteKindnap Nice one Linda. Your so smart I swear, you know what I am talking about..
ReplyDeleteAnyway. Who wants to kidnap our leaders? Like i didn't even know we had a Minister of Aviation till some woman came out of the woodworks talking about "Dana is Banned" then 2 weeks later "sorry i changed my mind"
I didn't know Akwa Ibom state had a governor let alone how he looked till 2 face wedding.
So Linda who is gonna kidnap these invisible people?
Don't blame kidnap on their greed, stealing poor peoples money and giving nothing back. Nigerian government is an organised MAFIA.
Linda. You got it mixed up. It is not that they can travel without security because they do not have kidnapping problems. It is that they do not have these issues because their leaders are not pretentious, money hungry, evil, sadistic ass holes who want to watch their own country burn to the ground. A man once said, "A developed country is not one in which the poor have cars but where the rich can use public transportation." I am a Nigerian who works in a firm in Boston. I lived in Nigeria till I came to uni in Yankee. Everyone from HR to the partners in the firm take the subway. I love Nigeria die but it needs to give me a reason bigger than Suya and pounded yam to return home.
ReplyDeleteNice talk!i feel same here!
DeleteThis can never happen in Nigeria, our Leaders dictate how to be treated, especially when they r loaded, they believe they r gods, there's nothing called Humility among our Leaders, even if there's, it's very Rare, As u worship the Husbands, you also adore the ground their Wives walk on, that's Nija mentality, 'We r not on the same level' And in God'sight Everybody's Equal, Death is only thing shows that Equality! Mama B!
ReplyDeleteLinda Ikedia u don turn to Maradona wey u dey use word to dribble plpp... which 1 b say dem no get kidnappers in their land...So u want to tell me that PM Cameron dont hve haters...For our Leaders they dont copy good attitude from the white but only to show off with 100 entourage and guides...When we attack dem they use America and Britain as an example... FOOLISH NIGERIA LEADERS "STILL WATCHING FROM MY OCEAN
ReplyDeleteThis Linda chick is a bush girl
ReplyDeleteLinda all nah wash, u no the kind security people way dey behind the camera? Naija sabi dis one pass nah.
ReplyDeleteIts not all leaders cuz let's b honest if we get there we'll b d same.even as followers we respect only pple with convoys.the british set their leaders as normal citizens.
ReplyDeleteLinda u have redefine humility just has d British are trying to redefine marriage. Wat is humility in dis I beg if he no carry his personal bag no one will carry for him. D mayor of london ride on bike to work ni or enter train but he is still something else wen it comes to humility
ReplyDeletelinda!!! Abegiiiiiiiiiiii
ReplyDeleteYep! That's my PM, I'm so f**kg glad to be a Londoner unlike that stupid nigeria, ordinary PA sef can't go out without a convoil.
ReplyDeleteMumu, it's convoy. Check ur spelling before u start throwing insults at a country i believe u have barely lived in.
DeleteBanza! Londoner n yu can't properly spell convoy! Ewu! I'm sure ur smwhere in ajegunle suffering!
DeleteLondoner my cats ass!
U will remain a slave forever, the PM dosent give a damn abt ur black ass.
DeleteMake you try am when you become governor sef and see wetin go happen to you! Do you know how long it took them to get to this level? Plenty talk talk na im dey worry all of una!
ReplyDeletemake GEJ too try enter public transport him go no say nigerians dey vex
ReplyDeleteSome of u dey mix things up bad bad dia is jo way d prime minister will go to any where without security even while on holiday d difference is dey are not army or uniformed police like nigeria. Even his wife and kids are coverd. If any one remember d time he forgot his daughter in d pub d security were blamed. So in dis foto dont be surprised if those guys seating are not his security and minders
ReplyDeleteSo he's wearing a blue tie on the train. He's not wearing any off the train. Is smetin wrong with those pictures? Xcept the pictures were from diff days.
ReplyDeleteGood observation! Could have been taken on different days,
DeleteAnyway at the end of the day the fact remains , it does show a certain level of humility in as much as it is a PR gimmick.
To have developed that level of infrastructure is something we as Africans are crying to our idiotic leaders to deliver , but they are too busy gallivanting and stealing to think properly.
My friend na underground train and its some times as hot as hell
DeleteHow I wish this can happen in my country #Nigeria
ReplyDeleteDream on
Deletegood stuff
ReplyDeleteIf bros for aso rock try dis kain tin......kidnappers go chop belle full o....lol
ReplyDeleteWho told you people he is happy doing that?this is publicity stunts and also he is trying to save himself of the expenses he would incure on parking space tickets if he has to use his private car so this is not humility buh stingyness.plus who told you the british people are at peace with eachother? the scottish, british, irish and welshish people never agree or cross parts its just that they can't take it out on themselves because they are law abiding citizens and nobody is above the law unlike Nigeria and they dont have jobless people who spend time criticising their country and government publicly buh trust me if given a day of lawlessness they would kill one another and make a public mess of their own country too and pour out their hurts..things are not always the way they seem, sound or the way you see them.
ReplyDelete@7:09pm Dis has got to be d BIGGEST GBAGAUN ever...alagba WELSHISH biti bawo??Welsh even, oya thank me na na
Delete"Welshish" indeed
DeleteD word is 'welsh' not d rubbish u wrote!
DeleteHe has security details you can see. But let be truthful, Nigerians can get as close to Aso rock like Brits or visitors get to Number 10. #fact.
ReplyDeleteAbeg jor, do u think Obama is entering cab, do u know how decked up Air Force 1 is? They can even perform surgery on it, so it ain't only in naija. Although ours is meaningless convoy that cause traffic
ReplyDeleteKidnapping is the fault of the Nigeria leaders. They should build a safe place if they want to leave in one. God help this country
ReplyDeleteexactly
DeleteCameron used to live near me just b4 he became PM & moved to NO.10. I did see him frequently in my area, most often shopping in TESCOs and no one used to bat an eyelid.
ReplyDeleteBut that looks like a photo op! Since becoming PM he doesn't go about casually like that. People are so displeased with his govt he'll get mobbed.
VALUES ARE DIFFRENT, WE CAN NEVER, EVER, FOREVER AS A PEOPLE BE LIKE OYINBO...EVEN IN 100,000 YEARS,...MBAH DOG NO DEY CHOP COLANUT.
ReplyDelete9JAS AS A PEOPLE COMPOUND CRASS ARROGANCE WITH IGNORANCE SO...HOW CAN HUMILITY BE IN OUR DNA.
The left pic is on the tube, and I am sure he's got policemen without uniform with him (he is the PM, for crying out loud).
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd pic, is Virgin train @ Euston, and the same applies.
If it was the Mayor of London, then u don't see security around him... Been on d tube with d current Mayor, with his foldable bike and Ken Livingstone, the former Mayor (he took tube most of the time anyway while he was a mayor). No biggy.
Rihanna, took d tube as well, but her's was a PR stunt.
The tube and trains are fast to get u around quick without traffic, hence the reason u find some personality on the them...
I have seen couple of Nigerian Big men and women on it, eg ex ministers and them them.
We've got a long way to go on safety and security of our citizens and foreigners in Nigeria. May God help us.
There is absolutely nothing to compare cos we all are guilty. Madam does not carry her bag when the hse girl is there, Oga gets back and leave his suitcase for the gateman, even in the offices with the cleaners and messengers as well....
ReplyDeleteIts not a case of our leaders
Well in those countries they have LEADERS- elected by the people. In naija we have RULERS-selected by the few. So what do you expect.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, we are out worst enemies, if some people commenting here can refer to the NORM/IDEAL as "eye service".
TAKE AWAY THE POWER FROM OUR POLITICIANS! THEY HAVE TOO MUCH POWER, THAT THE PROBLEM
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 5.12pm, please how can someone who's sending you back to your OWN country a racist? Lmao...na wa oh...Anyway, publicity stunt or not, The british are way better developed than us Nigerians! Mentally, Economically, Politically, Healthwise, Educationally, Socially and Otherwise...Even with all our "Religious" ways laced with hypocrisy, they who most of them don't believe in a God, are not as poor as us..with all our shining of eyes and over sabi, we instead chanel it to having vermounous things to say to each other and would rather die than encourage a brother/sister's honesat hustle...We are our own problem and until we accept that and change, then Nigeria will remain as it it. Typing from my UK porche apartment!
ReplyDeleteLinda, you should know its all publicity stunts...... Is it because they didn't take pictures of the bodyguards.........If you know how british people hate this guy, suprised he wasnt even stabbed.....
ReplyDeleteHe's got what they call an invisible iron curtain and this photo u see here is like watching a rocket take off, it looks nice and straight forward but on the inside it has 300,000 failsafe moving parts. The guy is guarded for miles radius. Naija has a long way to go...first of all we need a real democracy not this Feudalist federal government to get anywhere close.
ReplyDeletei cant belive my eyes , a pm grabbing his belonging with two hands with his wife walking behind him without an entourage.its beyond my imagination. may be its as a result of where im coming from
ReplyDeleteOh plssss!! Like the MI6 & undercover cops are not in the station. Nice try David Cameron..ur PR stunts ain't working..Conservatives sucks!!
ReplyDeleteThis is not a publicity stunt, public servants are humble in the UK, no unnecessary competition.
ReplyDeleteDear Linda, this is how they woe voters/supporters in their clime. it is not humility but politics. Trying crossing your hands in front in him and see how many deadly bullets you stop.
ReplyDelete@aheadahead9ja
why are we so gullible in this part of the world? I can bet my life that no single civilian is on that train and the picture was taken for PR purpose ... forget the fact that Nigerians can overdo things but there are some privilege that comes with some offices and status in life, it is not pride ...
ReplyDeleteAt first anon you are a moron...What do you mean by eye service that's why you remained in your poor mental state cos of lack of transparency. You can just shut up and don't say anything if you have nothing to offer.
ReplyDeleteMost comments here are so annoying by some morons, its a common trend Abroad not like they posed for people to see that they are in a train, most of you that haven't been anywhere outside Nigeria feel its an eye service, does white have such mental and fake lives?that's why you people can never learn or advocate for a change and a better living. All government officials Abroad enter Metro, buses and all what's not simply because they are conducive.Eye service ko nose service ni....
ReplyDeleteMind most of you that feel celebs and Niaja govt officials are given much attention anywhere in the world that's a big lie, they are treated like other citizens, una presido wife no dey Germany and Spain take treatment?who knows if she's there or not......
ReplyDeleteUna don talk finish abi...na una go stil dey do sir ma if una see dem stupid citizen...if u want good 4 ur nation fight 4 it n stop saying rubbish on d socail media cus una wan socailiez...Linda Kare make ur own money n mak dem tlk more omolomo u tink say Linda come play 4 Lagos abi...na una mate dey Syria dey fight 4 d good of dere future...foolish fathers and mother in my country hmmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteHe is well guarded as you seee him,the MI6 don't sleep unlike the shoeless one that has a plethora of bodyguards and 1bn to feed.
ReplyDeleteGEJ should ride okada in lagos
ReplyDeleteTHE PICTURE MAY NOT BE A CLEAR DEPICTION OF WHAT WAS GOING ON. SOME EXITS ETC MAY HAVE BEEN UNDER TIGHT SECURITY
ReplyDeleteTHAT TUBE TRAIN PHOTO SE;F, I NO BELIEVE. HOW WOULD PEOPLE JUST LOOK THE OTHER WAY WHEN THEIR PRIME MINISTER IS STANDING RIGHT BESIDE THEM
listen sista linda, dats not humility rather it was ublic stunt... Mr prime minister got mi6 chaps watching over him. Britain is far more corrupt than 9ja but only british residents will agree with me. As for security, 9ja obviously got a long way to go. British citizens in uk suffer far more than 9ja, if ur in doubts, go live in uk and see for urself.
ReplyDeleteYou surely can do better than that Linda because before kidnapping became a way of life in Naija, our leaders - including other African leaders - have always rolled in pomp pageantry. If you must know, even the Queen used to drive herself around when not on official engagements until she became too old.
ReplyDeleteOur leaders are a bunch of mean egotistical materialists, period.
This is Humility at its fullest. Simple straight and on point. Not even a counselor in 9JA would do this.
ReplyDeletethis is not a sign of humility. It is more of a demonstration of possibilities that a decent society constantly strives to achieve - guarantee of peace and security of its people regardless of their position in life. David Cameron definitely is not humble and is incapable of humility, looking at his background. You cant be a white British, went to the best primary school in the world (Eton) and the best university in the world (Oxford) and then be a son of a multi-millionaire in Britain and yet be humble. Fashola is probably more humble than David Cameron, but can Fashola ride in a Molue or Danfo from Ojuelegba to hos office Lagos and carry bag? The answer is no. No that he may be unwilling but he cannot dear it with the hungry thugs, area boys and kidnappers all over the place.Cameron's action is not about himself; it is a manifest display of what is possible in his society, unlike our jungle here. Now you know why our leaders can work freely on Oxford street, Green Park and Bond street, but cannot step out of their bullet proof car in Marina. Society progresses when leaders know and can identify with the people. The purpose of his action is to give hope, purpose and meaning to the citizenry. And that precisely is the moral logic behind the theory of social contract. It tells them that a moral order exists; one in which the most productive members of society are adequately rewarded. It proposes that success is neither an accident nor the whimsical gift of capricious gods, but the logical consequence of talent and endeavour. Citizens come to believe that they are not at the mercy of fate or caprice but truly captains of their own destiny. The autonomy of conscience and the will to create unleashed by this understanding is the wellspring of progress and innovation. What results from all this is a virtuous cycle in which achievers become exemplars of infinite possibilities inspiring more people to pursue excellence thereby creating yet more exemplars who spawn yet more achievers. Conversely, even when talented individuals are hamstrung by forces beyond their control, such as the economic status of their parents, welfare systems are in place to provide a financial cushion for such disadvantaged but promising persons. Unemployment benefits and allied forms of social security are meant to provide a springboard for the disadvantaged to compete for honours. They ensure that no citizen is ever denied economic or social opportunities on the grounds of ancestral underachievement. No generation should suffer for the sins or limitations of its forbears. Individuals will succeed or fail by their own hands. In essence, the principle of meritocracy is the moral engine that keeps the most advanced societies and economies of the world racing ahead.. That unfortunate;y is lacking in our jungle here.
ReplyDeleteWell the dont have kidnappers cos they have built a functional not dysfunctional society. White man always wiser than blacks.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have leaders in naija pls. They re RULERS.
ReplyDeleteIG
Fake money brings fake egotistical behavior and all those Nigerians whether politicians or musicians or actors that surround themselves with gun wielding thugs and praise singers are all fake. Why is it that in properly functioning countries people in power dont have a need to fake power? The mayor of New York City which is 10 times richer than the entire Nigeria takes the train like most of their Mayors and legislators. Perhaps because of all the assasinations in their history the Americans protect the President of the United States heavily. But even then I remember watching the convoy of the President of the US fly by in New York once. Only one limo with one SUV and a couple policemen on bikes. No Sirens. If na Nigeria 30 cars would announce Goodluck's arrival.
ReplyDeleteNigeria wud be great someday,we have it all to make here a better place to be .
ReplyDeleteafter they colonized us we just took all that we felt ws necessary and gave away the good qualities and just embraced modern slavery at all levels SHAME SHAME SHAME PITY PITY PITY!!!!
ReplyDeleteImagine Bros Jona planning to take a train ride for publicity stunts. The entire train will be blocked by security operatives and the whole city shut down.
ReplyDeleteJust try doing anything to the PM while he is on that train and you will discover that he is not alone....Leave all that one o, na publicity stunt....
ReplyDeleteWe all sound a little bit biased about the potential of Nigeria to do what is obtainable in the western world. let us check out Sir Tafa Balewa and co of olden days, dey were leaders who after their tenure had no houses of thier own in their village not to talk of in the city. They walked on the streets without guards, went to meetings on public transport etc. its just so corruption is the mother of the day these days. God Help Us
ReplyDeleteLinda u know what, we do not have leaders. Nigeria is just woking and worshiping some microscopic few that are there not for our inerest but against it. they only work for their family and associates. WHEN THE WANT TO PUNISH US, THE REFER TO UK, US and developed countries BUT when they want to embezzle or do things for thier selfish inerest, they dont remember those leaders.Ordinary Local govt councilor siren will push u into a ditch if u dont get off the road fast. Refinery and petrochemical tech is the simplest tech in the world, still ours are not working and the sold the petrchemical industry which is suppose to be a national pride, they call it privatization, but we all know the story. But they will not stop e shaddy constituency allowance bcos they knw what they make from it. Our leaders instead of brainstorming with stakeholders, the carry scissors week in week out in the name of commissioning. I cant remember the last time i saw Bush< Obama < Tony Blair or cameroon doing that as against getting abreast with national issues. The country where 1.6trillion naira (16million naira in 100,000 places)was not accounted for appropriately in petroleum subsidy and the pple involved are sill discussing national issues bcos hey are finaciers of political party. They didnt cpy US or UK>>>> that have cap on the max ammount individual can donate o a party. But the bill to deduct our salary in th name of contributory pension was hastly passed. pls it is a morning, i need to be busy bcos we our living in dis country now is based on hopeless hope.
ReplyDeleteLord i ask you for a chivalrous man *praying*
ReplyDeleteI wonder which day nigeria will have good train transportation, there r so many tins to talk about in that picture, good train, neat environment, happy people on board,PM feel like normal etc.if u enter naija train OMG!!!bad odor, rough people, useless train, even people are sitting on top of the train to avoid to pay for the tf....everytin leads to a bad leadership, our leaders are bastard and the worst part of it is that they travel abroad and see all this beautiful tins..Nigeria is still far from getting better
ReplyDelete#WORD!!!... they have set good standards in place simply.
ReplyDeletelinda the prime minister just misses the old underground paroles dayz.
ReplyDelete@ linkda this na Photoshop jor @ big fish the day you leave that ocean, don't fail to land at my beach becos have gathered all the sticks charcoal and barbecue sauces to cook you. Can't wait to have a fab meal..
ReplyDeletehey ! not in naija, i knw what we g thru wen Mr Presido is gointo the airport in Abuja, all roads closed , you get to work late, and even after he's convoy must have passed , you still have to wait another 15mins before vehicles are allowed to pass.
ReplyDeleteWhen leaders do the right things nobody witch hunts them... Cameron is free to walk the streets of london without fear because he is giving service not the other way round like our Nigerian leaders.
ReplyDeleteHumility indeed! Toff politicians will fool some, but not all.
ReplyDeleteAnon April 3, 2013 at 5:09 PM; Congestion charge? That you pay congestion charge doesn't mean the PM pays. Firstly, he lives in Westminster so he's exempt. Secondly, like The Police and some others, irrespective of where he lives, as the PM, he's also exempt!!
Definitely there WAS a country!!!
ReplyDeleteShee naa me won help them cari dere luggage b4?HUMILITY ko,HUMILITY ni.....humility my foot, naa who get luggage go carry am b4 naa#honid#
ReplyDeleteAll of u saying its eye service, how many of our leaders can RISK going out 'alone' like dis? The fact dat he can afford 2 do d 'eye service' says a lot as far as I am concern
ReplyDeleteLinda, are you forgetting that this Dude has an Oga at the top watching his lifestyle I mean the QUEEN.
ReplyDeleteThey are light years ahead of us. Let us be honest to ourselves.
ReplyDeleteIn the beautiful words of Micheal jackson, i say SPEECHLESS, exactly how i feel......now im lost for words and seeing this almost makes me loose hope for this country. This is simply a demonstration of a very advanced mentality in white people, little wonder God allowed them colonize the blacks, i JUST IMAGINE IF BLACK PEOPLE WERE COLONIAL MASTERS AND WHITES were the colonized. God would have just wiped out the world since
ReplyDeleteHe better be using the tube given the austerity measure he has introduced into the UK
